The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Highway and mountain view. The breakfast was fairly good.

I would rate this hotel expectational, except they ripped me off. I showed them confirmation on Booking.com and pulled my bank account up to verify purchase. They told me they didn't see it on their end and took my credit card info for "just in case" purchases. They charged my credit card for the room. The next morning I informed staff that they had charged my card and therefore causing me to double pay. She did some work on her computer and told me the extra purchase was going to be reversed. Here I am 2 weeks later still trying to get credit for them double charging me for the room. **Updated...hotel did refund the extra charge after 2 weeks.

Very comfortable bed. Quiet. Right next door to the Wolfahrt Haus Dinner Theater where we were seeing a show. Convenient to the Interstate. This is a value stay... convenient and comfortable... you will save enough on your stay here to get a good breakfast elsewhere and still come out ahead.

Breakfast is just ok.... pancakes spit out of what looks like a copy machine, sausage gravy and biscuits, and assorted cereal and toast. There was instant oatmeal, yogurt in the refrigerator. There is a Cracker Barrel just up the hill from here ... while breakfast is free, go over the Cracker Barrel and get a better breakfast! The room was supposed to be nonsmoking but it was clear that someone had smoked in the restroom and the smoke smell lingered. There was a big cobweb on the curtain and leading up to the corner ceiling.... room was swept and wiped down but seeing the cobweb made me think they did a hurry up job. Room coffee was weak - try a different coffee vendor... lobby coffee was fine.

Easy booking, staff was polite and friendly. Easy to switch a room when the fire alarm kept beeping.

I had to switch rooms from a king that I paid 148 for due to a firearm beeping and staff not knowing where the battery was. I switched to a smaller room twin two beds and was charged the same price. I had to pay a$ 100 deposit on the room when I paid cash. Which I didn't understand and this was also not in the website.

We liked that we were able to do an online check in before we arrived so all we had to do was pick up our keys from the front desk. We thought the handwritten "enjoy your stay, have a blessed day" note in our room was a sweet and personal touch.

The breakfast wasn't anything to brag about. But for the right appetite, it may be just what someone needs/wants.

Breakfast was great. We checked in late at night because we were traveling. We got up early the next day to leave. So we did not spend mich time here. But the room seemed to be very clean. The staff were very friendly during check in and out. We had a room on the end and on the ground floor so it was easy to get to and from.

The drain in the bathtub was broke and would not stay open for our showers. Plus there were used bandaids and other debris in the drain. The bathroom was super tiny. You almost hit the toilet when opening the door.

Staff was superb and helpful, we were double charged because of paying ahead of time through booking .com was our only problem no fault of the hotel but they quickly fixed it, recommended places to eat very very clean, young man at front desk was wonderful and the ladies in the a.m. helped correct my billing issue immediately, we will stay there on future trips to the Carolinas

Warmly welcomed to a clean and comfortable room with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toiletries, TV and hairdryer. Restaurants nearby and breakfast bar that includes eggs(hard boiled), bagels/muffins, cereal, yogurt, a new style pancake maker, and beverages which includes juice. It has been nicely updated. Would stay again. Good value for short a stay.

The heat/AC worked well, but had a musty odor. I usually check the filters at hotels because they can spred illnesses if not properly cleaned. I was unable to do so.

Clean, cozy, convenient to highway, walk to dinner, staff warm, friendly, efficient.

Tuesday morning when checking out there was a young woman “ hanging out” behind the counter. She had loud voice and obnoxious personality. The staff were so much the opposite that it was a turn off. Perhaps she was not mentally well? I would never let that stop me from returning or recommending.

Location, price were excellent. Beds were decent comfy. Only decaffeinated coffee in the room was bit of a bummer but no big deal. Hardboiled eggs, pancakes and coffee standard for breakfast included. Overall great for 1 night stay.

The carpets were super deodorized, might be a potential issue for someone with scent sensitivities. Carpets not super clean in corners, if ur fanatic re clean rooms. No elevators, 3 floor structure. But very good for us overall, would stay again.

Room was large and clean. My room faced the interstate but noise level was not a factor. Very quiet and restful stay. Staff was cordial. Morning desk clerk, RONNIE, was very polite and had breakfast ready even though I checked out before 6 am. Good choice of breakfast items. 5 stars from me.

Concerned because no elevator and my room was on 2nd floor. Room felt damp when I first arrived but turned AC/HEAT on and damp feeling soon went away.
