This is 100% a family oriented hotel. The rooms are big for DC. But this is still an east coast hotel. Breakfast is solid for a "included breakfast". Some version of eggs and breakfast meat each day with pastries, bagels, toast, fruit, etc. You have a full kitchen, so it is perfect if you are getting/bringing in your own food. You have a way of keeping stuff cold and reheating as needed. There are even dishes and a dishwasher! We stayed for 6 nights and the separate pullout bed and TV area was a life saver. This is located very near the 52 and 54 bus lines. The 52 can take you right to and from the national mall. Be prepared with cash for your fair. They don't take credit cards. You can also buy and fund a metro card at the Mcpherson Square subway station 3 blocks away, and use it for metro or bus. I REALLY recommend familiarizing yourself with both systems and downloading the metro app before trying to use either. Uber is affordable, but much more expensive than metro. We took Uber from the airport to the hotel for $40 (we needed an Uber XL to fit the 4 of us) and returned to the airport on metro during peak hours for $2.75 a person.
We arrived at 5:30 PM and our room wasn't ready. This seems to be an issue with this hotel. If checkout is 11, I don't see why rooms can't be ready several hours later. For us it was not a massive problem, but it clearly was for other travelers. We checked out bags and headed out to see the sights. Don't plan on parking at this hotel. Parking is limited , there is a daily fee, and requires a valet. You have to request room cleaning a day in advance. For us, this was only an issue because we kept running out of garbage space. But we figured this out by using other bags and putting full bags outside the door to be picked up. This worked fine for us. I am sure they would come and collect trash as often as needed.

This place was perfect for my stay in DC. I walked most of the time I was in town and the hotel location was great. It was .8 mile to the White House, a mile to the Washington Monument. A convenience store and CVS were a couple of blocks away. A subway station was 3 blocks away. The room was large with frig, microwave, stove, and sink. The bed and pillows were super comfortable-I slept well. Breakfast was above average with a variety of eggs, meat, oatmeal, pastries, cereal, etc. Food was plentiful and well stocked. Your room key is required to use the elevators-a nice safety feature. Staff was helpful and friendly. Price was more than fair for a stay in DC. Overall just a great experience. I'll definitely stay again if I return.
The one complaint I had was a lack of room service. I was told my room would be attended to every other day, but in 7 days it was cleaned but once. The front desk said they are short staffed.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good, but it got very crowded and items ran out as soon as they were put out. Front desk staff was very helpful, especially Danielle. She went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated and enjoyed our stay.
Dealing with booking.com was very stressful. Due to flights being canceled, reservations needed to be changed. Booking.com reps did not have the correct contact information for the hotel and would not allow me to conference them in on a call with the front desk. Changing the reservation should not have been so difficult and the experience reminded me why I stopped using booking.com. In the future, I will go through the hotel directly to book reservations.

Room was great
No parking available, had to find parking and walk to the hotel, never had to do this in my life. Parking has always been available at the hotels I stay at or vallet was available at least through 10pm for hotel guests. I will stay again because I liked the room and staff. The parking was a big disappointment.

The Suite was great for our family: the mini kitchen area with fridge, dishes, table, microwave and sink to eat some meals in our room, and the living room with sofa bed was nice for siblings to spread out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. After a couple days, we realized there were a ton of fun places to eat just north of the hotel. Special shout out to the wonderful staff lady who worked the breakfast area- she was so great and helpful! We also really liked the ice water dispenser with fresh fruit in the lobby- after a long day that was really refreshing.
I would have liked to move the hotel about 5 blocks closer to the Metra because it was so incredibly hot outside, and after walking thru museums all day, we definitely got our steps in each day. However the best thing we did to see Wash DC was buy the 3 day Metra pass- it was so slick to be able to use our cards and get all around the metro area.

Wonderful breakfast bar each morning with a huge variety of items to choose from. Fantastic service by the women who staff the breakfast area. I appreciated the scrambled eggs each morning, fresh fruit, yogurt and good coffee. Was surprised at the other items from pastries and breaks to cereals. Our room was comfortable with a great bed, nice bathroom, roomy living/kitchenette. The proximity of the hotel to the Metro and its walkability to the White House and to good restaurants was excellent.
Can't think of anything---from the lovely and always helpful front desk staff to the work out room and the breakfast area, plus the little "shop" area of amenities---we were very pleased and think we'll stay here again on future trips to Washington, DC.

The hotel was wonderful, a mini apartment where everything is there: a huge bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, a huge bed, very comfortable and pillows too, air conditioning, the room has everything from an iron to a hairdryer, as well as a small living room with a kitchen, where there is also everything you need: refrigerator, freezer, microwave oven, coffee machines. The room exceeded all our expectations!! The breakfast was excellent, everything you need, you won't leave hungry. There is also a small gym and a laundry room.Everything functioned great. It was 4 days of Luxus.
In my opinion there were not enough shampoos and conditioners, not replenished every day.It wasn't enough for my hair, and my son also had to wash his hair, and we had only one small shampoo, conditioner and body wash for all 4 days. But I think that if I had contacted the receptionist, they would have helped with this issue.

Location was great, very accessible to national monuments and dining restaurants. (Overnight) Staff was beyond helpful with checking in at late night and dropping off items we requested for a comfortable stay!
Not sure if it’s from the room ventilation or the windy weather, but after turning on the fan, we had very minor congestions and coughing. But it was nothing we were particularly worried about.

The hotel has a great location and the rooms are amazing! I booked this and was shocked at how great the room was. It's valet parking but it's in and out valet parking. The front desk was great and breakfast was good as well.
It took a little to get our car out of valet parking but nothing crazy. I really have nothing bad to say about this stay.
