Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cheney, an IHG Hotel

We loved our whole stay. Our room was lovely and well appointed and satisfied our needs.The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of food. I especially loved the hot and creamy oatmeal. The hot breakfast…eggs, sausage links and patties, biscuits and gravy, the variety of dry cereal, yogurts, pastries and breads satisfied everyone’s taste. It was truly amazing.

Nothing could have been better with one exception. For snacks like chips, ice cream bars, etc the desk did not take cash so the young people with no credit cards could not purchase anything.

Location was great for any events at Eastern Washington University. Breakfast was served in a nice, large great room, and there are exits near the free parking all around the hotel.

We did arrive early in the morning, and when we asked for early check in, they said the earliest that they could accommodate us was at 2:30pm. That was unfortunate that she said that especially since she didn't bother to look if there was any room available to us for our reservation. I did approach her at around 1 pm since I noticed others getting their rooms. Only then did she say she could give us our room.

We booked here because it was close to EWU and we were there to visit our son. We had breakfast both mornings and enjoyed the large selection of breakfast foods. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They even gave me forks at 8pm, so I could enjoy my leftovers from a earlier dinner out. It is noce to have a mocrowave and small refigerator in our room along with the mini keurig machine. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were perfect for me!

I didn't like that I forgot my swimsuit and didn't get a chance to use the pool! I also didn't like that the refrigerator wasn't already on. I didn't see the note on the top right away and my drinks got warm. Fortunatley, I noticed it the next morning and was able to turn it on and have cold drinks for the next day and store my leftovers from Texas Roadhouse. Don't want those to go to waste!

The breakfast was great. Had a great variety. Not a huge egg lover but the eggs were made well. I like the location of the hotel. It's near a grocery store, coffee shop, and a convenient store.

I didn't like that I was next to a storage room. Not sure if that dictated the size of the room or if it was because there were only 2 adults. The other room I reserved was bigger but that room had 3 adults and 1 child.

Location was convenient to college campus, restaurants, and shopping. The property was newer/updated and attractive. There was a good selection of hot & cold foods for breakfast - not just carbs!

The guest room was not well lit. There were overhead lights in the entry and bathroom, but the only lights in the main bedroom area were the wall sconces by the bed. Otherwise, it was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast options were plentiful and the bedding was very comfortable. It's a very nice option to have for staying in Cheney.

The only cleanliness issue was in the bathroom. Some hair and grime at the floor of the toilet and general scuffiness on bathtub fixtures, but overall the room and facilities were quite clean.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good. This was a great stop on our mult-state road trip and I would be happy to stay here again.

The location is a bit further off I-90 than we thought, but it was easy to find and worth the drive.

Very clean, and the sheets are were super comfy. The shower was nice and clean as well. I liked the coffee station. The breakfast had a very good variety of choices. Loved how their was oatmeal.

Little pricey for me.

The free breakfast was great. Lots of variety and plenty of space to sit. The pool was open till midnight which was great for us. Very convenient location.

The Cheney town. Hotel was great though. Close to where we needed to go and had everything we needed.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, beds were very comfortable and the price was great.

Something in the room, we thought maybe the blankets or sheets, was causing constant static buildup but besides that nothing.
