Steam Plant Hotel

I was worried about the location when I first pulled up , but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it anaway. Glad I did ! Found the place was kept very clean and provided great value for the price. The Staff was always helpful, the room was always clean. The location turned out to be the best feature as anything I wanted or needed was within short walking distance, and given all the one way streets down town , walking turned out to be the best. I stayed 7 days and would definitely like to stay here again next time

Mostly found driving downtown a challenge. I am older and unfamiliar with Spokane so I found dealing with the one way streets difficult . Of course this is not within the Hotel's control, and it is my own personal limitation.

Very central location close to shopping, restaurants, buses to everywhere in town and airport. Friendly accommodating staff. Comfortable Italian shower with good water pressure and an extra wall heater in bathroom. Nice TV screen, microwave and fridge in room All in all great place for a reasonably priced clean, safe downtown location. Earplugs provided for those sensitive to train noise but it did not bother us.

One of beds beds had a very thin blanket but heat in room was fine. Breakfast items very low second morning.

This is my second stay here, and I loved it in July, loved it again. The first time we were on the 2nd floor and could barely hear the train. This time I asked for the 3rd floor, bcuz we love the sound of the train:) So: 2nd floor, almost no train noise, 3rd floor, definitely train noise. I feel like mentioning this bcuz of all the reviews that complain about it, so future ppl can consider asking for the lower floors:) We will absolutely be back!!

This time, the sheet was too small for the bed, the corners kept slipping off. The seal on the fridge is not reliable, we noticed it, but not a big deal.

The room was such a great value, really comfy bed. The check in staff was so nice and helpful!

The train noise was a little loud, but it didn't go by too often.

The staff was very friendly. Check-in and out was fast and easy. The location was great for us, it was only a 6 min walk or so to our destination that night. The room was clean. Comfortable bed. Having a microwave and a mini fridge in the room is a plus! And the parking there is great!

Just a couple of little things, the body wash dispenser in the shower was completely empty and the toilet seat wouldn't stay up unless the lid to the tank was off.

Location, room, and value were excellent. Close to Downtown activities and accessible to I 90.

Everything was Good!

I was in town overnight for an early morning Dr. visit. Bonus - the hotel was only a 10-minute walk to the clinic which meant I could leave my car in the garage! The room was clean, up-to-date, and very comfortable. The bed was firm but comfortable. I especially appreciated that the AC was quiet and didn't blast me all night like so many other hotel rooms. The room had an unusual odor - probably from the previous guest - but the staff provided an excellent deodorant spray which fixed the problem. I found the staff to be friendly and professional

The motel was very nice - but it's located right next to a railroad. The trains ran all night and especially early in the morning. Not a big deal, but I forgot I had earplugs with me. I missed eggs in the comp breakfast, but that was fine also. No premium channels were available on the TV like HBO or Showtime which is also no biggie. I was a little surprised that there was a $5 parking fee but understandable in a downtown location.

Easy to precheck in before evem arriving.. Frontdesk staff were super friendly and helpful. Very close to the Comedy club, the reason for my stay. Sorry didnt get your name to give you a shoutout but you were amazing at check in and checkout. Room was fairly clean, dont forget to check in the little cubby holes, bed was super comfy, and the heater worked great!

Area is a bit sketchy and the train is like right there....and runs often but never honked.. thank ypui for the earplugs to help. There was an issue with the people above me in 207, and the feedback was welcomed and goong to be brought to the attention of management.

Staff was exceptionally welcoming, room was clean and ready for check in. Parking was available - didn't need covered parking but it was available. wifi was available and easily accessed. Staff recommended an excellent restaurant and bar just within easy walking distance. The theatre was within easy walking distance (just under a mile) with well-lighted streets at night. Kureg provided the in room coffee...love those little pods. Staff allowed me access to the kitchen to get tea at night. Really decent brewed and Kureg coffee in the breakfast room.

Breakfast could have been more varied but was totally adequate. The clock in the room was unfunctional...at least I couldn't figure out how to make it work. Our iphones worked well enough.

The employees were amazing!! We had a longer than expected wait at the us boarder crossing and were to exhausted to drive an additional 5 hours back to Seattle. We found this place on booking.com and called to see if we could check in after 2am? Emma was super nice and available to get us all checked in for the night!!!

Lots of people walking around the area at night made us a little concerned to leave the car in an open parking lot with all of our camping gear visible.
