Location

Offered tv and WiFi but only got about 6 channels… one was frozen for two days, never came back on! One had a great picture but no sound. Sports channel seemed to come in great. Other channels were fuzzy (ant races) and maybe two others we could watch! So the point is, offering tv and WiFi but it was very limited! After having no services for a few days, we were looking forward to some! Also very limited food options! It was ok but if you want honest review!

Perfect location for visiting Mt Rainier Gondola, Sunrise and Tipsoo Lake. Stayed in the Village Inn building. Room was no frills but comfortable. Bed was very comfortable, but rather high for a short person to get onto. Breakfast was self serve continental, with a reasonable choice of items. Limited choice for eating in the evening, but this was pre-winter season so very quiet.

Height of bed - difficult to get on and off for someone short!

I was glad there was a restaurant open for dinner but there weren't any breakfast options. I was wondering what families would do for meals since the dinner venue was 21+. But the food was good with several options.

No breakfast option. A little hard to find registration and it was closed at 5:30 but we were able to find our keys.

The location… It’s in the Crystal Mountain parking lot. Having the lounge common area was a huge help with the room being so small.

Overall very well maintained older property. The loft stairs and entry were very narrow and low, even for my kiddos. They make the most use of the small space for a family.

decaf coffee and creamer in the room, and more food options( it was off season so lack of options were understandable)such as fresh coffee and some individual oatmeal packets or sealed pastry options and fruit(oranges/apples)for people for breakfast so folks didnt have to travel so far in the A.M.

Location is great and close to the Rainier park entrance (about 15 min drive). Place is nice, simple -- ski centre type joint. There are several different hotels all included on the same property -- all integrated in some way. Upstairs main lobby in Quicksilver Hotel (where we stayed) was comfortable, with games, big fireplace, couches, etc. Keurig coffee pot in the room was also nice. The restaurant (Alpine Inn) was very good. Small menu with fairly basic, hearty food. But very well prepared and friendly staff. AND -- the Gondola to the top of Crystal Mtn (separate cost) is FABULOUS. Next time we will skip Sunday restaurant buffet and get something up at the Summit Restaurant on the mtn top. The GREATEST view of Rainer, Emmons Glacier, Mt Adams, Mt St Helens (and even Mt Baker far off) and the valley that you will EVER see anywhere -- even better than at Sunrise itself. Absolutely glorious (photo does not even come close to doing justice). We will stay again for sure.

Our room was a family suite -- a room with a Queen and 2 twins upstairs in an open loft. Very comfortable but the headroom going up the stairs in the loft are dangerously low. Can't change that, but the hotel should perhaps add some adhesive padding. I'm not being picky here -- 2 or 3 of the ceiling beams are dangerously low considering they are along the steep stairway at the top of the loft. Padding would help. The room had a TV, which is a nice touch, but the channel selection was pretty poor. 4 or 5 sports channels and 1 or 2 local channels. Nothing more. It was fine for us because we just let golf drone on while we were in the room relaxing, but some might think there should be more.

Clean and comfortable- Coffee in room. Adjacent restaurant is absolutely fantastic - one of the best meals and desserts I've ever had. Great location for visiting Mt. Rainier.

The shower didn't stay hot long. If we had been there longer, I'm sure they would have resolved the issue, but we were only there two nights and I didn't have time to bring to their attention.

The staff were wonderful! We had great hiking close by.

There was a big relay race which made the restaurant crowded and it was a bit noisy in the morning. But the staff were amazing and made us comfortable.

The comfort of the bed and quality of the shower really helped complete our stay. After hiking and sightseeing all day, it was great to come back to these amenities. Everyone on staff were amazing. Make sure to eat at the property, too. The Summit and Snorting Elk restaurants use a lot of local ingredients and have really good local wine and beer lists. Take the gondola to the top of Mt Crystal and enjoy the spectacular views. I look forward to staying here again.

You’re about 6 miles up a mountain road from the last convenience store. I would highly recommend getting water and snacks before getting to the property.

I loved that we were surrounded by the mountains and had beautiful views from our room. It was so quiet and peaceful and the rooms were enough for our little mini vacation. One of the staff members, unfortunately didn’t get his name, but he was so wonderful and was so kind and friendly.

The location was nowhere near any gas stations or grocery stores. I believe the closest general store that’s in a small town was about 20 miles away so definitely gas up and stock up on items that you need as their little shop there wasn’t really anything like general store. Only had one restaurant, a seafood truck and a taco place.
