The complimentary hot breakfast is very much enjoyed and appreciated! The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and on ground-level :) :) (saving us from lugging luggages up/down stairs!)

This is not an issue, only additional tips for a better stay. We only found out about the FOC borrowing of sleds (for sledding down the little slope at Front Street) on our last day of stay! If only there was some signage / information, then we could have enjoyed this facility. Perhaps hotel management could put up a sign where the sled are placed? We thought they belong to some guests and did not dare to use them!

Der Ritterhof is more of a motel than a hotel, although it's better appointed than most. Clean, comfy beds, an excellent shower, and a solid location (less than a 5 minute walk from the downtown area). Most of the rooms are in apartment-like detached wings orbiting the main office, where a continental breakfast is served from 7 to 9:30am (although we didn't partake...we slept in too late both days!). There's a pool as well in another separate building, but we didn't use it during our trip. Check in was relatively simple, and check out happened in the blink of an eye.

It's not fancy, but it is functional, and is a more than serviceable lodging option for solo travelers, couples, and small families looking for an affordable (relatively speaking) place to stay in Leavenworth.

Good location, although it is on Highway 2 so traffic is common, particularly during the day. Semi's could be heard late and early (we were in the closest unit to the Highway). The large Knight is a classic vintage Motel decoration, enjoyed it a lot.

The breakfast was reasonable, as good as a lesser Hilton or Holiday Inn for variety, but some of the local Bakery pastries won out for the second breakfast. The bathroom fan was a bit noisy.

Room was nice and spacious, bed was super comfy for me and my husband. Loved the mountain views form the room window and patio. Your walking distance to anything was all within 10min walks. Staff was very nice and welcoming, I would stay here again.

Only thing i would say is that they did not have an actual breakfast buffet like some of the other hotels there do, although the small choices they had were enough for me to be completely satisfied for the start of my day.

This place is adorable and staff is so kind. Marie was amazing in the evenings. She brought her German Shepherd, Harper to work and Harper let my two year old love on him. They also have a resident car, Pumpkin, who my 3 kids really enjoyed. Breakfast was good but could have stayed open a bit longer. There was a big party group at the hotel and they let them decorate like crazy, it was fun to watch. The air conditioning in the room was amazing!! Every room has a balcony or patio and that was great.

The room was very small!! Not much room to walk between the dresser and the foot of the bed. The shower was a little wonky and we could never quite figure out how to properly work all of the unlabeled knobs. The shower head is also EXTREMELY low!! The bathroom is very tiny!! Linens are not the greatest and beds and pillows are so uncomfortable. The pool could really use some work as the plaster is chipping away in several places and some pool lounge chairs could use some replacing.

Loved the room. It was clean and bright and comfortable. Loved the view of the knight and the mountains. Staff was helpful and super nice. The location was great both close to downtown and also by a restaurant with amazing service and food.

Only real complaint was not having a microwave in the room to heat up some food for the kids in the morning.

Check-in and check-out were both very quick and the room was quite clean. Staff were very friendly and conversational. The bed and chairs were nice and comfy. I stayed near the tail end of the off season, so I didn't have to worry about neighbors. The hotel is just a five minute walk away from downtown, so it is in a convenient location, and the property is well kept up.

The pool was closed during my stay due to some sort of issue with the pump, so that was a bit disappointing. Not the property's fault though. Also, I'm not sure if it was the air conditioner or the refrigerator, but one or both of those appliances were quite noisy during the night. Other than that, things were quite pleasant.

It was a very nice place, comfortable, cute, and quaint. It's a good location, a short easy walk to all of the shops and restaurants, yet far enough away that it was calm, quiet, and a break from the hustle and bustle. The pool is small but very clean. The room is spacious and comfortable. It had a keurig with tea and coffee, a desk with chairs, a TV, a fridge, a big chest of drawers, and a long rack to hang clothes with hangers The shower had soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers. It had a balcony with chairs. The staff was amazing! They were friendly, very helpful, and available 24 hours. They let us check in an hour early and check out an hour late. There was a free breakfast 7-9:30. The waffles were the best! There was also juice, yogurt, fresh friut, toast, eggs, sausage, cereal, milk, muffins, and nutrigrain bars. I don't have pets, but they allow them. I am allergic, so they took care of me by putting me in the building that never has pets in it. Overall it was great and I would stay there again.

It was pricey, but on par with the rest of Leavenworth. It would have been nice to have even just a small table with the chairs on the balcony. The keurig in our room was dirty, BUT the staff helped me to get the hot water I needed to make tea and they made a note so that someone would fix it for the next person. There was also tea and coffee available at all hours in the office. There was not a hot tub. None of this would keep me from going back. I would stay there again.

The accommodations are clean and basic. The staff are helpful, kind and hard working. There's a nice size TV in the room and the mattresses are comfortable.

We stayed on a busy weekend, so we paid a premium for our stay. The grounds are fairly inaccessible with the amount of snow and slush there currently. They do a nice job keeping main walk ways clear. The bedding is pretty much all sheets with no blanket or bedspread.

Not sure what ppl expect here. It’s a cheap old hotel from the 80’s (maybe 70’s) but it’s totally good for what you’re paying. We got a really inexpensive room. It had two nice queen beds. Clean sheets. A clean bathroom. Pleasant staff. Hot coffee in the morning. Juice and yogurt for my kid. A little fridge to store things in.

Sort of weird they didn’t clean our room all week (no new towels, no empty trash cans, etc) and I don’t think that was clear. Didn’t bother me but i feel like I should have known. Weird that your key stops working after four days (apparently for everyone) and they don’t tell you in advance.
