Enzian Inn

The morning buffet breakfasts are truly outstanding, with great food, custom-orders, great selection, very very friendly service, and the horn player standing on the balcony rail playing several pieces.

The pool and its area was under reconstruction, although the booking information indicated "view". The view from my room was the parking lot. Alternately, the view would have been the pool reconstruction, along with the sounds of tools and construction workers. I recommend compensation for same could have been a $20 per night reduction in the room rate. Also I did not like the late (4pm) check-in and the relatively early (11am) check-out time. To compensate for the 11am check-out time, I would suggest a 2pm check-in time. Your policy might be the industry standard, but I, for one, do not like it. Eliminating five hours from a 24 hour day does not go unnoticed. Three hours is understandable and tolerable.

This property exceeded my expectations. Both of the pools were clean, with fresh pool towels available in the room and at the reception desk. We were also pleasantly surprised by the free mini golf course across the street with clubs and balls readily available at the front desk. The alp horn serenade in the morning during breakfast was a nice addition. Breakfast was beyond expectation as the service staff ensured that items were refilled promptly and tables were cleared off and wiped down efficiently. I did not have high expectations before we arrived, but this has been once of the nicest hotels we have stayed with very attentive and friendly service. The bonus was the ability to stay on the property to use the pool after check-out. I would definitely stay at this property again and can't imagine another hotel being better in the area. I can't think of anything negative. For us this property was awesome and checked all of our boxes.

You feel welcome the moment you step through the doors with friendy staff, a fire in the fireplace and beautiful decor. We were there in December, and it looked a lot like Christmas, inside and out! There was coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available in the lobby, carol singing around the piano and photo opportunities everywhere in the lovely hotel. The hotel is situated across from the town square and very close shopping, restaurants and a lot to see and do. The rooms are beautiful, homey, nicely furnished and decorated and the beds oh so comfortable! The shower was nice and hot and the heater worked well. The WIFI seemed to reach all areas of the hotel. The pools and hot tubs are open all year long, even the outdoor ones with snow surrounding them! The breakfast buffet was amazing and everything we had was delicious. I would say with the elegant but practical way the buffet was arranged and the spacious and beautiful room and awesome 4th floor view of the city and surrounding hills plus the delicious variety of locally sourced food, this is by far the best breakfast buffet we've ever experienced!

Hmm, it's hard to think of anything! Umm, maybe that our visit was too short! ;)

This has become our go to when we visit Leavenworth. We love the beautiful indoor pool and Jacuzzi and spa like with its calming music. We also love outdoor pool particularly in the summer now that this is open and hot tubs. There’s so much to do it’s like a mini resort across the street from the strip so easy to walk across grab some food at Gustavs walk around shop and enjoy. The breakfast is out of this world, the fancy waffles, the whipping cream and berry compote, and the beautiful breakfast room with authentic entertainment. a bit of a splurge, but become a special place to us where we are making family traditions. Thank you for making our stay in Leavenworth special.

I just wish it was a little bit more affordable … I’m even willing to be flexible on my date, but doesn’t seem to make much difference in price. I understand there are so many amenities probably and it’s worth it so we save our money and make it work.

exceptionally clean ambience really nice, loved of the decore The horn playing in the morning was so beautiful and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel, we will be back, but hopefully you’ll put some ducks on the floor of the shower or something because I almost slipped already have made a recommendation to someone at work who also just came back from Leavenworth and when they looked on your website, they were so impressed and will probably be choosing you next time I did overspend because I booked late so I was a little worried, but it was truly worth the money also loved all the space in the bathroom with all the extra shelves and counter space it was really great. It was easy to get ready.

The rooms were not very well insulated so we could hear a noise from the pool and music playing in someone else’s room Also, the shower was a little weary was no hand held so it’s very hard to keep your hair dry, and it was a little slippery also, it would be nice to have an ironing board.

Hotel is amazing! Hands down amazing! Ashley was working the front desk and she was the best young lady to deal with. I showed up before check in so she gave me a parking pass so I could park and walk around town. When I did check in, she remembered me and was so friendly and helpful! She helped me various times during my stay (Ashley, I was the lady in the Tinkerbell shirt, lol). I had been traveling for a week prior to this stay, and Ashley should go train the staff at other hotels to show them how to give great service. Thank you Ashley for making my stay so great! The breakfast and piano player were also amazing.

I thought the whole feel and aesthetic was really nice and friendly. The room was very nice with a shower and bath combo, which was really great. We didn't use all the amenities but it was nice to have so many options (outdoor pool, indoor pool, game room, sports room, mini-golf) that were included with our stay. I thought the free breakfast was a great experience, with lots of options along with the alphhorn (had to look up the name) performance.

The one thing we did not like was that in our room the AC was a bit noisy. It wasn't that loud where we couldn't sleep but it was louder than we would have preferred.

The entire property is very welcoming of families and couples. The front desk staff are excellent and positive, giving out a list of activities at the property and activities in the surrounding area. The rooms were great and clean. I liked the mixture of modern and classic Bavarian furniture in the room. The beds were super comfy. The bathroom was clean and large. I appreciate that they have pumps of shampoo etc rather than wasting tiny bottles. The pool areas were fabulous and appeared to be recently renovated. The outdoor pool was definitely warmer than the indoor pool, which was perfect for swimming even when the weather was not very warm. The outdoor chairs were perfect for lounging in the sun. The outdoor pool had an adult only pool and an area for families. The indoor pool was great for exercise with a long lane that could accommodate 2-3 swimmers. The game areas were a little outdated but still clean and in good shape. We loved playing mini golf - the course has real grass, sand traps, water traps, and a waterfall (and is free to guests). We didn't get to check out the basketball and racquetball courts but it's great they have these! The gym was basic but you could get a great work out in still. The breakfast was amazing - a large buffet with an omelet bar, many different fresh pastries, juices, coffee. During breakfast, the traditional Alphorn was beautifully played several times. The main lobby had fresh water with fruit and coffee/tea at all hours. They also had a nighttime piano performance. Lastly, the location is great - just on the very edge of the main shopping area, and free parking.

The shower was a bit strange in that it was just a single glass wall. Could be a slipping hazard for people with balance issues or just a mess with children. The shower still worked well and didn't make a mess if you were careful. The bathroom lighting is dim as well.

This was one of the most peaceful, and relaxing stays we have had. The Enzian Inn is a family friendly Inn that feels parte resort, and part bed and breakfast and their staff is so kind and accommodating. This is by far the best breakfast I have ever had at any hotel ever.

We opted for a queen bed, but that’s on us for not going for a king. We normally sleep on a king and the queen was too small 😂. But the beds and rooms are super comfy. I also would’ve liked a little bit better tv-streaming selections. But honestly this place is pretty perfect

Breakfast was amazing. The food was outstanding, the dining room bright and charming, the view from the dining room was stunning. It's worth coming back here just for the breakfast buffet. No joke.

The gentleman that checked us in was not around and we had to go looking for him (it was a very late check-in) and then he had trouble locating our reservation. My friends were initially told they would not get their room and after much confusion and checking around (like literally going and looking in rooms to see if they were available) found a room.
