River's Edge Lodge

Couldn’t find room in Leavenworth, so defaulted a little out of town. It happened to be a hot day the first day, so river access a few steps away was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed the quiet little beach space and protected water area. The next day was rainy, equally enjoyed the covered second floor porch with tables and chairs. We went tubing one day, staff graciously provided towels. Rooms are outdated, but everything was clean and comfortable.

Nothing. We knew we would overpay for the older room because of the Leavenworth location. Once we accepted that, all was good.

being on the river was great, so relaxing and beautiful. The room was okay. beds were comfy. the balcony was the best part of the inn. LOVED THAT!

there were a lot of up keep to be done. the flooring in our bathroom was coming up so they just nailed a strip of wood over it. the window was coming out of the frame, but they did have a stick in it. the entire outside needed .a paint job bad. the pool was not an option as was overgrown with weeds and empty. we were told there would be no housekeeping on Saturday but when we went to check out around 9 am on Sunday no one was around.

While this motel is dated, it is extremely clean, fresh linens, super soft towels, comfortable pillows and very kind owners. We had a great stay!

The property is very dated and the beach access could use some landscaping, but overall it was a great place to stay!

The river access and view was nice. The room was older but it was clean. We had an emergency arise on the day of our checkout and they were really accommodating with allowing us a bit extra time to checkout. We were really thankful for that.

The lights outside the window were incredibly bright even with the curtain closed. It was a little further from Leavenworth for what we had planned. The hot tub does not work and the place is older but overall it was a great little place to stay.

Just 3 minutes out of town and nice & peaceful!!!! The little beach on the property was an extra treat as we were able to fishh alittle and get wet to cool off. Nice place

The only things that could have been alittle better..........the lights outside our room attracted ALOT OF BUGS that try to get into your room goin in & out..... and the turn off the road to the Lodge is abit scarry and dangerous, be careful

Location was great! Didn't want to be in downtown Leavenworth. Wanted to relax. Having our own little bistro chair and table sitting by the river drinking our coffee was the best ever! The room smelled wonderful can't describe it. Was clean. We will be back.

The host was exceptional. She could not do enough for us. Great location with outlook on the river. Try to get a ground floor room to take advantage of the outdoor area

Air con is very noisy and sound from road heard loud and clear in the room

The location was really nice, having the river right next to it is refreshing. It was also close to a tavern which ended up being nice too.

I was not sure of what to do when leaving before the office was open, maybe a sign that says to put the badges through the door’s mail slot? Then again this was my first time booking a night at a motel.

'On the second floor we had chairs and a table to relax and read from. Excellent view and sounds from the river RIGHT THERE. I thought I was booking a different motel, one we'd stayed in before, but this has now become our Leavenworth Favorite.

The city was only 5 to 10 minutes away. That distance away from the Holliday crowds allowed us to have a quiet morning coffee and breakfast overlooking the River. No crowds, no noise, no hassle. Just a peaceful morning.

We were in a room farthest away from the office. The internet signal was a bit weak there, but our Verizon service worked without a hitch. This was by NO MEANS a deal breaker.
