Fairfield by Marriott Tacoma Puyallup

This is our second stay at this facility. We need easy access to the Good Samaritan Hospital and this Fairfield is perfectly situated. But we also need cleanliness and to be safe from exposure to disease and the Fairfield Marriott can be relied upon to provide a clean and safe facility. And we need comfort, which our room generously provided. We love diving into the clean, fresh bedding on our cloud-like beds! In addition, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I expect that we will return to the Fairfield Marriott again and again!

We were very satisfied. I can't think of anything we didn't like.

The breakfast was good . It was nice that we didn't have to pay for breakfast..I missed the the waffle maker I thought the waffles there would really sweet and I didn't like blueberry compote so I didn't put it on it but the next day they had the ham and egg and cheese croissant and those were really good

The beds need to be changed out for new ones. The week before I was I. The Court yard in in Bellevue Washington I know that this hotel is older we were in room 509 and the beds in that room should be changed out.

The hotel is nice and small. The lobby is bright with plenty of room and chairs to sit. There’s a little coffee table that my kids enjoyed - they made themselves hot chocolate or apple cider every morning, and coffee for me. Breakfast was grab-n-go, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, cereals, bagels, Greek and regular yogurt, orange and apple juice, milk, coffee, a good enough variety that we were able to enjoy every morning. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I reserved the little gym for an hour a day - just a rack of rubber hex dumbbells and cardio machines and a bench - but that’s all I needed. Our room and bathroom were clean, 2 queen beds were comfortable, refrigerator and microwave in our room, 2 tv screens and a little living area with pull out sofa. Perfect for our family of 5!

The pool was closed. But covid, I know.

Friendly staff & my room was clean.

Didn't like under emenities provide airport transportation that is why I made reservations at the hotel, front desk girl stated we don't have that , toldl her it was on the website, she said no it's not, didn't believe me. I had to pay for a shuttle (Execar) to take me to the airport.

We liked the coffee station that was open daily& the free breakfast. The pool and spa open. They also had complementary female items .

On Sunday night to Monday they didn’t stock the coffee bar at all . The person above me was running around until midnight on Friday night. Even after voicing my concern. The pull out bed had no sheets and a thin blanket. The toilet was dirty, it had toilet ring like it hadn’t been clean.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Had a hiccup with the booking and they took care of everything. Good variety for the breakfast, very clean, comfortable room. Loved the indoor pool and it was warm 😊

Location right off the busy road was a bit noisy.

The hot breakfast was very good and the air conditioner worked quite well:)

Sound proofing…with the window closed you could still hear freeway traffic noise in the room…but then, I’m a light sleeper so maybe it might not be an issue for other people.

They had a choice of breakfast sandwich Jimmy dean with pork sausage or one with turkey sausage that could be heated when you were ready to eat, as well as other items such as bananas, oranges, slew of hot and cold cereals, bagels with cream cheese, etc...We chose to stay in a king suite. Great choice, well worth the extra money to get the seating area. They gave me a room in a back corner, that was quiet...which was great because I was on call and there is nothing worse than having sleep interrupted by noisy neighbors. Will definitely stay there again when I am on call.

Loved my stay, and can’t think of anything that I did not like.

I can't think of anything we didn't like. We needed a remote for the TV and it was delivered to our room within 3 minutes! We needed towels and they were delivered super fast. Everything was great!

Staff was very nice. The room was comfortable with nice amenities. The place was clean and tidy, and appeared well-kept.

There was no cleaning service. We had to ask for toilet paper, coffee, clean towels. That was the difficult part. Otherwise I would’ve rated it a full 10 across-the-board. No hot breakfast which would have been nice since there was no restaurant super close by
