The room was well appointed and kept the historic feel of the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was a good size. The lounge was lovely. The valet service and front desk were helpful and provided good information.
The upholstered furniture in the room was rather soiled and didn't smell fresh. The pieces need a good cleaning.

Quite convenient location next to West Lake Sta. in The city centre. The facility is old, yet certainly maintained well, and staff members were lovely. The atmosphere of the classic entrance hall is welcoming.
The location is easily accessed for major touristic places, yet after the COVID-19 pandemic, the city centre area seems uncleaned and smelly, homeless people around the shutdown department store nearby. Homeless people are not really aggressive there, and of course having directly nothing to do with the hotel, however it would be something some travellers may mind. Otherwise, the area is relatively okay. The lift number is two, which is still okay unless there are any conference/event participants around. When having those, it was a bit troublesome to go down/up in rush.

Great location and value for money, with generously sized rooms. Even though its an older property, it has been extremely well-maintained and super comfortable for the short trips that I have had thus far. It is within easy walking distance to the majority of main attractions in Seattle and the staff are super friendly, welcoming and it shows that they are willing to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction.
Not much to dislike really. The property met my expectations for the price point offered at the time I visited.

The hotel is in a fantastic location to explore Seattle. It is so close to a lot of tourist destinations & connected to the monorail which goes straight to Seattle Centre. The room was spacious with all amenities you could need - fridge, coffee machine, tv with loads of channels, hair dryer, iron, safe… the list goes on! The bed was super comfortable and our sleep was not disturbed while we were there! The shower was hot with good pressure and we appreciated the Starbucks coffee for the machine! We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends.
Extra money was put on hold when we arrived which we weren’t expecting. We didn’t have the money transferred from our Irish cards (only enough to cover the room rate) but the transaction still went through. However, the staff were very helpful!

Breakfast was ordered through room service. It was well presented and pleasing. There were several options. The front desk staff was excellent. We had to leave our luggage with the hotel before check in to start a city tour. The lady was so very pleasant and understanding of the fact that we were late for our tour and accommodated us with such joy. The location of the hotel was excellent also. Quick and easy access to the monorail and close vicinity (walking distance) to wonderful attractions sich as the Pike Market Place and the Aquarium.
The front entrance had some steps to get into the lobby. We had to lift our luggage up the steps up on arrival.

Location of the hotel is favourable to sights, shopping and a few good restaurants. The staff were courteous.
Coming out of a pressing Covid period I appreciate the cost of maintaining or refreshing hotels, but I do think in time there is value in doing some soft refurbishment to the hotel to just bring it to more current offerings. I am mindful it is a yesteryear classic "Grande dame" of Seattle, but a beautifying the lobby and specifically the reception and elevators will make a significant impact on aesthetics

This is a privately owned hotel. Services across the board are consistent. Our room was small yet very comfortable and clean. Doorman eager to help. Beautiful lobby. Excellent front desk staff. A martini bar. A restaurant. Old world charm & quite elegant. You can’t beat the location. The price is very reasonable. We walked everywhere. We took the train from the airport. Who wants to be stuck in traffic. Fast & economical. Here’s what to do: Getting to and from Sea-Tac Airport I highly recommend the “Link, light rail.” ▫️It takes about 38 minutes between the airport and the heart of downtown Seattle. ▫️Exit: Westlake (Westlake Center Mall) ▫️This stop is underground ▫️ Look for the elevator (in the corner to the left of escalators) ▫️This elevator takes you to the street level, 5th Avenue (if you take the escalator, there are a few steps to climb). ▫️Once off elevator Turn Left ▫️First corner, Olive Way, Turn Left. The Mayflower Park Hotel is up on the left. Quick & efficient. Especially with luggage.
Not one thing. I am very happy that my husband and I stayed there. We would stay again.

Friendly staff, but some stuff was misleading. $40 flat taxi fee to the airport - apparently wasn't so flat rate. I was told I was paying sales tax on top of the fee - but only after we were at the airport.
Our next door neighbor played bass classical music at a very loud rate for over 8 hours (continuous). Tried to nap during the day was impossible to do so. I had reached out the hotel through the website and was told because I had not contacted the hotel directly veteran/military rates did not apply (even though I had marked that during the reservation process).

Wonderful old hotel in the centre of Seattle, a great location to visit the main sights in the city. Staff were polite and courteous and Oliver's bar was a nice place to relax in the evening. The room (Classic City Queen) was of a good size with a comfortable bed. Wifi was of good quality and the TV had plenty of channels. A nice touch was the Starbucks coffee in the room and the complimentary water.
The bathroom could do with updating, an extractor fan would be a nice touch and possibly a new bath tub. That being said, I appreciate the Hotel may not wish to do this to keep the original character of the hotel.

The hotel is located in the heart of Seattle close to so many great places to visit. The room was clean and quiet with very comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the food, drinks, bar (Oliver's) and restaurant (Andaluca) were top notch.
The elevators weren't working properly, and the repair company didn't show up to fix them during the night, so in the morning we had to carry our bags six floors down to the lobby. We always pack lightly, so it was no big deal for us. However, the poor hotel workers were scrambling to carry other guests' bags up and down many flights of stairs.
