The staff was awesome. The location was ideal for walking to/from city center. The hotel felt safe for a single female traveler. The availability of onsite food and drinks was great.

The decor was much cheesier and garish in person than online pics. My hotel room had a stale/musty smell to it that I noticed at check-in and each time I walked in after being out for a while. The wifi was very slow and laggy until front desk had IT reboot it for me. Casting from Max app on my phone never improved (I just wanted to relax with Great Pottery Throwdown on my downtime! :). Wish they offered more apps through their streaming tv. The daily amenity fee…. I would prefer to pay for extras, as I rarely use them.

We had a wonderful experience at The Maxwell House - starting with an early check-in with Fionna who found us a nice corner room with view of Space Needle. The two complimentary drinks were a nice touch, as well as free water and tea/coffee. Pineapple theme fun! Fun bar with good food. Pastries available at cafe in am rivaled other bakeries we visited. Very short walk to Space Needle and Chihuly, as well as Monorail to get you to Pike Market.

Although I liked your "naked experience" idea, I didn't love the two separate comforters on the bed. But robes super comfy!

The hotel location was fantastic. It is within walking distance of Seattle Center - Space Needle, Dale Chihuly Garden, the Monorail, MoPOP, Pacific Science Center, Seattle Opera, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Climate Pledge Arena... There are great little restaurants around every corner. So much to see and do!

We did buy breakfast at the hotel on the first morning of our stay and it was pretty awful. Microwaved breakfast burritos from the gas station on the corner would have been better (and cheaper). I highly recommend going to the nearby City Market and picking up breakfast items and snacks to keep in your room.

comfortable, large, and clean room. good location close to seattle center.

website photos are a bit deceiving. not nearly as "grand" as pictured. fitness center very small with barely any room to roll out a mat (there's only one). Asked the front desk if they had a yoga mat i could use in my room (lots of space -- large room), but they didn't have any. woman working the morning cafe/bar didn't want to be there. I asked if she could bill items directly to the room because i had come from the gym -- "maybe. we'd have to see after i ring them up." The selection of items was lacking, so i didn't have her try.

Decor was bright and fun, complimentary drinks and water were appreciated, staff were really pleasant and professional, bed was comfortable, area felt safe and was convenient to walk to several tourist sights.

We have an oversized vehicle that doesn’t meet the height requirements for the parking garage and while we were able to pay to park on-site in the open lot without any problems, it would have made travel less stressful if we had been able to reserve an oversized parking spot in advance. In this case the “first come first serve” worked out for us, but if it had not, finding parking may have been a headache for us.

I love, love, loved the bedding. I so want the duvet on my bed at home. (It can be purchased on their website). I enjoyed being greeted by Dash, a stuffed dog, on my bed. The room was good sized and would have been better if I could have gotten the one-bed option. Unlimited coffee pods from Reception or Housekeeping for the easy-to-understand Keurig machine. I stayed at The Maxwell to go to a hockey game. Due to my mobility issues, I drove to the game but many people were walking to the arena from the hotel. The hotel had a great afternoon spread - with delicious sugar cookies shaped like pineapples, pineapple-infused water, and coffee - which I hit every day. This was in their lobby which had comfortable, unique chairs scattered about, some near the windows, some by the fireplace, There were fun games in both elevators. The pool looked inviting but I didn't have my suit so didn't get to try. I ate every night at their restaurant. The food was good, mostly pizzas and sandwiches. The crockery had fun sayings.

It's hard to find something not to like about The Maxwell. I'm not a fan of the wallpaper but that's a personal choice. I guess I'd have to settle on the bathroom. The toilet was a little low for me, perhaps I should have gotten a mobility room. Also, the sink counter was deep which made putting on makeup difficult when you wear glasses. A pullout/magnifying mirror would have been super. I had one burnt-crust pizza (which I ate); the toppings were good. The meal was completely comped so no lingering concerns there. No true complaints anywhere. Would definitely stay again.

This was my first time in years getting away for purely recreational purposes, so I treated myself to a slightly more expensive hotel than I normally stay at, and it was so worth it! The Maxwell House is a perfect location for activities at the Seattle Center. My room was very clean and huge, especially the bathroom. The comforter on my bed was so cozy and I loved the big fluffy robes available. I didn't travel with a dog this time, but I really appreciated their very inclusive and dog-friendly rules. Front desk staff were wonderful and friendly, and the little pineapple cookies were delightful. I wasn't there long enough to explore the pool or other amenities, unfortunately. Next time I'll plan to stay a few more days.

The mattress on my bed needs to be replaced. The sides of the mattress were a bit saggy from being sat on repeatedly over the years and I kept almost rolling off during the night. I probably should've just moved over to the other bed in my room. Duh. There wasn't enough parking onsite so I had to park in a different lot across the street. However, that's my own fault for not arriving earlier in the afternoon. Get there by 4pm for check in if you want to snag onsite parking. I would have preferred the coffee mugs and water glasses to be hygienically sealed for safety.

All the staff were super nice. Amazing!! I liked Chandra so much at front desk. She was always very kind and helpful. I was also impressed about Ana, cleaning lady who is hardworking. Unlimited water bottles, welcoming drinks and completely cute pineapple cookies were a huge bonus during our stay!

I wish there were a jacuzzi. It was a bit cold just swimming in the pool. Unfortunately we had a family? stayed in the room above us woke up so early and start making a huge noise so our family had to wake up unnecessarily earlier as well. That was just a bad luck, but I assumed they didn’t have a good sound proof?

Loved loved loved this hotel. It is so cute! Loved the trendy decor. Everything was themed in pineapples. When you arrive they are friendly and kind at the front desk. They are helpful and give you a complimentary drink and the guy at the front desk gave me a printout of the recommended restaurants and coffee shops nearby. They greet you with coffee, pineapple water, and pineapple shaped sugar cookies!! Such a cute touch. When I arrived the parking was very convenient and right at the hotel, the stalls were spacious enough. The rooms are cute, nice large comfortable beds with the most amazing blankets. My room had a view of the Space Needle. They supplied the rooms with bottled waters and coffee. Even their toilet paper was wrapped in a pineapple shape. I wanted to give a huge shout out to Chandra at the front desk. She went above and beyond to accommodate us and give us excellent customer service. She was all smiles and friendly even at 9:30pm. I would definitely come back here... it was a great place to stay in Seattle. Oh it was also in walking distance to many nice restaurants!

There was one grumpy bartender.. he was the only person that was not cheerful and friendly.

everything! the hotel was creative , unique, and fun. An easy walking distance to space needle and tons of restaurants! The bed were super comfortable and each person had their own bedding(European style), which means... no one is stealing all the covers. The breakfast was good. the projection screen in lounge was incredible! My kids were so entertained by it!

Our only complaint was the pool. The chemicals were way off. The kids could only swim 5-10 mins before they had to get out!
