Juan de Fuca Cottages

The cottages were nice. The one we stayed in had 3 sections and the first night the people next door were a bit noisy. After that it was quiet. We had a king bed and the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The tv had a DVD player and they had movies to watch and that was nice. Good locations for going around to look at lavender fields.

It is not really on the beach. The beach is across the street and down a not too steep path. At high tide the beach is not accessible at all. At low tide we did walk around. There is a porch for the part of the cottage we stayed in to sit on but it was so sunny we really could not use it very much.

We loved the location and the views. The room was comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was there. And if it wasn’t there or we needed help the manager made sure to help. Even after hours.

The walls are thin in the suites that are connected. We could actually hear snoring in the next room. Also on our third night kept up till 3am with talking and door slamming in the adjoining room. Also TVs are old if you want to watch them after a long day exploring the area good luck! At least that what we experienced.

Love love the location. The room was superb. The host was so polite and answered all my "tourist" questions. Homemade cookies when we arrived, and a little market that was so cute, and we were able to get an item we needed. Across the street from dunganess spit area was perfect at sunset.

The only thing that I wish I had, was either another fan or AC, it was a touch warm in the room with no breeze.

This was a wonderful place the pictures on line don't look like the rooms the rooms are very nice. Updated and this is the CLEANEST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED AT. The quality of the bed, pillows, towels and overall cabin was absolutely highest quality. I literally couldn't find a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. It was amazing place I would highly recommend and I will be a returning customer. The view is amazing 30 ft you are at the water and beach you can see it from your window. The breakfast in the morning was home cooked and excellent very fancy breakfast. Loved this place. Out of 10 stars I would give it a 20 star. Cynthia

Nothing it was perfect.

Snow capped mountains on the left, private access to Dungeness Bay on the right, gazebo and large grassy lawn in the middle--what's better than that? Also cottages are very comfortable, well-equipped, and filled with lovely and clever accents and designs. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.

The open fire was a delight. Kept us warm and cosy… Thanks for a very pleasant stay. Geoffrey & Rosie

As we are on a 10 week holiday from Australia, our bags are heavy, so it was difficult not being able to wheel them to our room. But I see that as our problem, not the property’s. We enjoyed our visit

We were bugged as little or as much as we wanted. The amenities were awesome, with the spa, a TV, DVD player, a library of movies, snacks available, and having the ocean right next door. Anything we needed was easy and no contact if we wanted.

The cottages were just beautiful with personal touches, a jetted tub and very comfortable beds! Our entire family of 4 slept for 10 hours after a long day of traveling! The cottages have views of the mountains and the ocean!

I can’t really think of anything we didn’t like, The cottages were a little more pricey than we wanted to spend, but they were well worth it!

Beautiful location and great views! So quiet and peaceful - a true getaway. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re trying to find a peaceful place with the most amazing scenery of the water.

The little market was way to cute! Had a little bit of everything and such a good value. The beach was very nice we just missed the sunset but cant wait to see that the next time!

It was a bit spendy but it was a last minute adventure so worth it in the end.
