Super 8 by Wyndham Eau Claire WI

Comfy, clean bed, hot shower, mini fridge, heated lamp in the bathroom was a bonus, the location was convenient, & had a microwave & sitting area. The air worked great & wasn't overly loud like some units at other hotels we've stayed at before. Liked having the sink area separate from the bathroom & that it was a big enough vanity to accommodate 2 of us using it at the same time. Staff left you be but we're always around if you needed something & could easily be located. Loved that they accommodated my request I had put in the notes of my online booking, even with me not checking in until 9pm. We had no complaints even with the hotel being fully booked, including every hotel nearby with all the softball & soccer tournaments going on that weekend.

Bathroom was a bit snug but did like that the sink area was seperate from the shower & toilet, So was worth having a smaller shower/toilet area. There was 1 sketchy guest our first night but staff handled it quickly & very quietly faster than it took me to notice, so that's more of a positive than negative since the guests behavior isn't the hotels fault. Our door handle would stick a little when closing & wouldn't always click to lock automatically so we would have to jiggle it a bit but once it clicked, the door was fully locked, so it was fine & we noticed right away so never felt unsafe.

Very clean well maintained establishment. Check in associate was amongst the most professional Front Desk employees I've ever encountered. Staff had no issues allowing visitors at any time we wished. No harassing knocking like other's in the area. Pricing was same as competitors, however I was quite reluctant about their $200 incidental deposit as other chains in my area never return deposits. This Super 8 had NO problem refunding the deposit quickly as we never smoked or left any mess. Just wish I could have paid them that last $200 for a few nights instead of competitor because they truly earned it. Thank You deeply and look forward to doing business again. Daniel Reeves

Nothing was un-liked.

Sunny was the goat. He let us check in early, was super friendly, and got me more jam in the morning when I couldn’t find it. He made the stay exceptional. If you see this Sunny, shout out to you.

Breakfast was very good with good options. Room was clean. Hotel was close by everywhere we wanted to be.

The room and bathroom were a little small. You had to hold the handle down the entire time to flush the toilet. The sink drained very slowly.

everything turned out great, clean, walking distance restaurant which helped big time in this winter months . super friendly staff, breakfast was adequate, room was heated i really do appreciate for it when outside is below zero temperature. i will be abck whenever in town.

The breakfast was pretty good. The room was quiet and clean.

There weren't any coat hangers. The shower was nice but needed handles for safety. The location was a bit off the beaten path.

Breakfast was above average for "breakfast included" hotels. The room was comfortable and the value was excellent.

Minor items like paint and patching being unfinished.

The bed sqeaked. There were only 3 pillows on the bed. The room near us had a dog that was noisy for a while.

Clean floor and garbages

Had a family emergency and didn’t have the option of a refund. Toilet paper was left from the people before, I think new rolls should be put on. And the top blanket had stains on it
