The Ridge Hotel

The room here was clean, the modern lobby and outside terrace and pool area were very nice. We did not see the indoor pool. The Pool servers were great, especially Isaiah.

The pool bar stopped serving frozen drinks on the hottest day of the year because they didn’t wanna deal with the bees. The bees were already way out of control, swarming all over customers and staff. I’m not sure how to remedy this, perhaps some sort of like screen situation. The staff at the coffee bar in the morning seemed light. I ended up leaving without getting anything because the line was so long and it was taking so long.

nice and quiet the first two days and nights of our stay. 8-10" of unexpected snow on day three, but there was a snowplow on the scene clearing the lot first thing in the morning.

Noisy occupants the last two days and nights of our stay. This is no reflection on the hotel itself, but adults need to corral their children better and teach them how to be quiet in a hotel setting. There were unsupervised children constantly running up and down the interior halls, slamming doors, just being a general nuisance. It sounded like we were in a daycare facility for adolescent children.

I liked so much! 1. The pool room had a hot tub, sauna, steam room, and locker room. 2. The pool room times were 7am-11pm, most hotels I go to the pool closes much earlier. 3. There's an outdoor pool and hot tub. 4. They use a texting service to reach the main desk, so you can be anywhere and text them. When I texted twice that the pool room was out of towels, they responded right away. 5. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. 6. The room was clean. 7. The lobby has a lounge area with pool table and table hockey for free. 8. The restaurant has a lounge bar room (with fireplace for colder months!) off to the side with live music we very much enjoyed.

I wished there was complimentary coffee in the lobby/lounge area. There is a café you can purchase coffee.

Beautiful property located in a picturesque location. The lovely pool area and bar in the back overlooks a gorgeous vista. The large lobby accommodates lots of people for conversation and the bean and vine has great coffee, breakfast pastries and egg sandwiches as well as wine selections for evening. Rooms are clean and modern with beautiful views on the backside.

Our only complaint is that they had “no contact” policy for room service so we had no room service! Had to go to the desk to get fresh towels, cups for coffee. I also called ahead of our check in to ask if the rooms had robes and was told “yes” but there were no robes. For the price of these rooms these services would be expected. The staff was however very gracious and helpful and got us into our room well before check in time.

Great location away from hustle. Large hotel, Great views Poolside bar and grill was amazing with live music Saltwater pool indoor and outdoor Great for pets, lots of places to walk safely. Pool table in lobby (free) Coffee bar (you pay)

Storage for clothes was very different. Had to put personal items on open shelves. Beds were okay, not fantastic at the price you pay No free breakfast for this cost of the stay

Hotel is very nice and clean. Really liked the outdoor fire. Looks great at night with all the lights. Would go back. Good location, great staff.

Breakfast was too expensive. Went to a restaurant in town, ate for half the price. Pool was nice, little cool. Was peaceful til overfilled with teenagers hanging out everywhere, couldn't really go into sauna since they were in there making out, heard they are "locals" don't know if that's true. Was kind of surprised to see no microwave in the room.

Breakfast buffet looked great but we opted for your cafe. Chocolate muffin was delicious! Had fish fry and a pizza for dinner in Crafted Italia. Both meals were perfection! Loved the lobby decor. Outdoor spaces, pool, outdoor bar, fire pit and live music were luxurious and comfortable. Pool bar staff were friendly and very accommodating! Staff in general were very attentive and quick to respond to our requests.

A small dresser in hotel room would have been helpful. Pillows were average. Otherwise, the room was comfy, clean and would recommend to others.

Happened to be visiting on a very warm weekend in April and they already had the outdoor pool open! What a nice surprise to be swimming in April, in WI! The pool is very nice with plenty of seating. Bed was very comfortable. A lot of options for dining on location. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit one night.

Your room is definitely not sound proof. We heard a dog barking one night pretty consistently. It stopped by 10 so we didn’t say anything.

We liked the pet friendly services. The brochure with pet policy and local businesses/areas for dogs was great! As well as the door hanger that made me feel secure about having my dog with us. We also enjoyed dinner and drinks at The Craft; the staff are great!

The ice machine by our room was not working. There were materials stating there was a Chrome Cast available for the tv but there was not one attached to our tv (we had brought our own so we didn't inquire further). The other restaurants affiliated with The Ridge off site are very hard to find and there is no signage. Some directions or general information on where they are would be helpful-we went out and had to come back because we couldn't find it!

I really loved the location of the hotel. It was quiet and serene, but close enough to nearby Lake Geneva and other towns to grab dinner or shopping. It was fantastic for families, and was a great night's rest. The indoor pool and jacuzzi area were very nice and designed in a fun and tropical way, which my family loved.

The only thing I would note is that the a la carte breakfast items were somewhat high priced for a family breakfast (EX: a breakfast sandwich was 9.00). But otherwise, everything was great!
