Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark

This was my family’s first time visiting this resort. It was very clean throughout the entire hotel; our room was very clean, except for the few spiderwebs in the chandelier in the dining room, but other than that, everything was great. The staff was very friendly (we have visited plenty of water parks, and the lifeguards pretty much just stood in one spot), BUT I was very impressed with the lifeguards here; they  were very watchful of their area. They walk from back and forth, patrolling their area, making sure everyone was safe  not one time did I see them standing in one spot, which made me feel very comfortable  with my little ones playing in the pool  another great thing about the pool area was I forgot my kids life-vest, but I was able to get a vet free of charge we just return it when we left the pool area. This was a great trip I would definitely recommend.

At first you think you're headed to a city, but the lodge is tucked away perfectly from the city. Close enough to run put and get supplies, far enough to not hear the city noise. My kids were so excited when they seen the waterpark. At first I thought it might be to small, but it entertained them for hours! I mostly stayed in the lazy river, but it was great because it circles around and I can see the kids. The staff was amazing! The most observant lifeguards I have ever seen, it made me feel comfortable knowing that they really made sure everyone was safe. I would highly recommend a visit.

The suite was excellent for a family of 4! It was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. There were so many “extras”: fireplace, 2 TVs, full kitchen, dishwasher, full refrigerator/freezer, plates and service ware, seating for 4 at the kitchen bar and seating for 4 at the separate table, spacious bathroom, and a balcony with chairs and small table!

I didn’t realize the pricing was so much more for the Friday night stay, but I must take some responsibility for that. The stay ended up costing up quite a bit more than I thought it would.

The waterpark had different areas for the kids to play. Since we have toddlers, I liked that each area was its own separate space and had lots of things to keep them occupied within that space.

The balcony was right outside the bedroom which meant that so was the neighbor’s next to us. Unfortunately, we had some very loud, obnoxious neighbors who thought it was ok to sit on their balcony at 2:30 in the morning shouting at each other and using expletives.

the room was very spacious and comfortable. We had our grandkids spend the day with us at the indoor water park and I'm not sure who enjoyed it more the adults or the kids! We would definitely stay here again!

The only criticism would be that the kitchen was not well stocked. We had no spoons and wine glasses would have been appreciated as well. However, a quick stop at the dollar store while we were out and about solved the issue and our stay was fantastic!

I really liked having a full kitchen it made things easier during our stay and the big bathtub was nice. Having a "bedroom!" That was nice felt like i had more privacy and what not.

The bathtub was very slippery and needs to maybe be re done with an anti-slip coating. Also during our stay that Thursday night. We think some child might have had an accident in the pool the water looked really icky by a certain child and there was a bunch of stuff floating in the kids pool.. we used other pools but were super cautious and avoided the kids play pool the rest of the trip

The room was excellent with a large bathroom. kitchen and bedroom. Plenty of space for my family. Very nicely decorated as well. It felt very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The only complaint I could make is that the pull out couch was a bit uneven so that where you put your head was lower than where your feet were. My daughter did not care though and was so tired she slept just fine.

Water park was awesome and how warm water was. Hot tube going to outside was amazing. 2 room suite was amazing and beds we're very comfortable. I will definitely be back to resort

Whirlpool in room jets holders kept coming out in water and filters was broke and dirty but tub was amazing in size. Balcony view was the wall of the building due to last room on 4th floor but was quite which was nice

We loved that all 6 of us were easily accommodated in the room. Having 2 bathrooms was a bonus! The room was clean and we loved having a fireplace!

Honestly, I feel like the staff doesn’t sell all the amenities. I had to find things on my own— for example The Mountain Top— why didn’t the staff hand me a sheet with times/prices?! We went sledding up there and easily would have gone skiing, but we had no idea! Also, eating at the Grand Geneva was fabulous, but, again, I had to discover on my own! Why? Why don’t you hand me full list of dining and amenity options? Also, trying to get the trolley was a pain. The drivers are lovely, but the system was odd. I had to wait in the reception line and gave staff call. The app wouldn’t load, so we were always scrambling to get someone to call the trolley.

Lie the resort. Just TOO MANY KIDS.

Did not like that they had my room waaaay around the corner, to the very last room. Had to exchange because we were a Family of women all over 55, 60 and 70. I needed a scooter but was not available. We had poor cell phone connection and couldn't call out or receive calls all while we were there.
