Wyndham Garden Madison Fitchburg

The location was convenient to the capital, university, and surrounding areas. We attended a party in Evansville, and it wasn't too far. There are a lot of amenities nearby. The breakfast had a good amount of variety. The room was comfortable and spacious.

The price was high. The walls were thin. We could hear noise in the hallway and from the adjoining room, but thankfully people kept it to a minimum. There was a long term guest being evicted when we arrived which was sad. Services and help should be provided. Need more elevators.

Very private location, close to shopping center and restaurants, friendly check-in staff with nice sitting area with high ceilings and automatic front doors, nice patio are for outdoor seating and elevators in the center so equal distance to all rooms. Good and clear TV with lots of choices. shower with glass door and spacious room

Some of the furniture in sitting are had rips. I don’t know why they still had the glass up for Covid-19 since it’s not needed and looked tacky. The restaurant that was part of the hotel was permanently closed

The nearby restaurants and the vicinity to the hwy to get to Epic in Verona.

I noticed my room was very hot when I came back everyday from the conference. Your desk person told me the thermostat was motion activated so when I got back it was considerably better after a short amount of time. So, I liked how it wasn't hot over night, but it's kind of a shock when you first come back into the room after a certain amount of time.

For the most part it was a nice stay. We were given the wrong room number and the room was still dirty. When we went to the front desk they had mixed the last numbers 421 412. So that got straighten out. When booking the room it was advertised that there was a restaurant to order breakfast instead there was the usual free so I paid more for nothing because I didn’t eat.

Went to sit in the outdoor patio and it had not been kept up the table and chairs were to dirty to sit at.

Once the room situation was taken care of things were fine. Rooms were clean and comfortable. And it was great that we were right across from. The pool, because our plan for the 2nd day was just to hang out at the pool.

The first room they gave us was in the building across the street, yes there is a sky walk, but I tried to explain that 2 people in our party had walking issues. And he kept saying it wasn't that far. Then they did change the room to right across from the pool, which was perfect.

The staff we met were all friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The pool/spa area is nicer than many, with high vaulted ceilings and murals. Breakfast was clearly limited by COVID, but there was a lot more choice than some hotels we've stayed at during the pandemic. Staff were consistently following COVID pandemic safety best practices.

There wasn't much to dislike; we were passing through with a loaded moving truck, three adults, a teenager and a baby, and the hotel was a clean, friendly, well-maintained place to get off the road, soak in the spa for a bit, get some sleep, and have some breakfast before getting back on the road. We had no complaints about the hotel.

Fresh-looking carpets, furniture and fixtures, crisp linens, comfy mattress. There was a mess-up on our reservation but the front desk clerk fixed it instantly. The pool and hot tub were nice and we were the only ones using it for more than an hour. Very few breakfast items, but wasn’t advertised as “breakfast included”, so having our child rave about the choco muffin was a bonus.

In early Aug 2021 the restaurant/bar was closed. Also Cahill Main St was closed for road construction, but nowhere were we warned about it. Couldn’t management have added a paragraph about it on the default “welcome” message they send out upon booking? Trying to find our way around to the hotel at 2 a.m. was stressful, especially because Google Maps didn’t know about this major closure. Taking an elevator up, walking the length of the hotel then taking a 2nd elevator down to get to our 2nd floor room seemed nonsensical.

I loved the location, cleanliness, quality, and price. I very much appreciated a quiet refrigerator and decently quiet fan/heat/ac. Comfortable bed!

What I didn't like was that the person below me ran the bathroom fan for 8 hrs each day, creating a loud, low, resonating drone that came up into my room.

Nice place. Very comfortable nice sized rooms Doors to rooms are offset . Reduces noise when the room next to you is coming in and out. Nice roomy shower Felt very safe and family friendly. Really nice breakfast

Only thing I can think of is you had to hold the handle down to get toilet to flush well

The restaurant was closed which was a disappointment. The breakfast was very good and many choices.

There really isn’t anything that could of made are stay better. It would of been nice if the restaurant would of been open.
