Baymont by Wyndham Marinette

The room was larger than most, with plentiful places to lay out our belongings, plug in chargers, organize our belongings, etc. Two tables, two nightstands, four chairs, large mini-fridge with freezer where we could re-freeze our icepacks. Full cable tv well located. Good coffee

The room air conditioner was very noisy. The bed was very firm and we are used to memory foam mattress. I would have preferred a Lakeside location with a walking path.

We were just passing through. When we got there the building looked a little unimpressive, but it was just fine. Service was good. Breakfast was average.

Street side of the building looks a little uninviting. Don't know how to fix that, but once you get to the door side it looks better.

Hitesh (best hotel manager ever), traded our handicap accessible room to a King with a jacuzzi tub. Best night of our trip. The jacuzzi was amazing and we plan on buying the same mattress when we get home. First restful sleep of the trip. We read a previous report of a train passing near the hotel twice a day. We cannot confirm that, as we never heard a thing all night. Back to Hitesh. He’s the best. Friendly, cordial, funny. Told us all about the amenities, breakfast, and the train. Offered earplugs (their fix to a prior review), but assured us we would not need them. We didn’t. Breakfast was great. Everything was great.

There is full length mirror mounted on the wall adjacent to the outside window wall in which you can see the parking lot behind the shade. It wouldn’t come off the wall so we hung a bath towel over it. Problem solved. I think I’ve seen this particular photo technique in several movies.

It was close to a railroad track. When we head the train go by when we were checking in, my husband and I looked at each other and said, “like staying at grandma’s.”. So for us it was nostalgic, for other it might not be.

Breakfast was good and provided several options - oatmeal, cereal, hot waffles, eggs, sausage, bread, english muffins, etc Best of all were the Twinkies, Ding Dongs, and generic Little Debbies!! Close to restaurants and shopping!

My request to be on an upper floor was granted. The double bed was comfortable and had lots of pillows. The free breakfast had lots of hot and cold choices. The hotel was conveniently located near the highway, gas station, restaurants and shopping.

The location was great for our purpose. Adam was super helpful upon check in. Adam was very friendly.

A little more for breakfast, maybe scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs.

It was good. There was good variety. There was no milk and when asked, the employee got it quickly and was super polite. Coffee was really good as well.

I can't think of anything that we didn't like. This was the second time in a week we stayed at this one and there was improvement from one time to the next, in terms of our reception. The first time we weren't told anything about breakfast, etc. and the same person checked us in the second time, and he told us everything, making it seem like he was encouraged to make sure to engage with visitors.

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary because we love to fish the Menominee River. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel or our stay. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, you are located right by everything and the rooms were so clean and the beds and pillows were heavenly! Will definitely stay here again.
