Motel 570

Is a good place for a night or maybe two. The room had everything you need and bed was comfortable. Also was great to be able to bring the dogs.

There’s no view. The pictures should show better the rooms from outside and not just the checking house. It’s a good place to stay but kind of far from downtown, and it's next to the highway. The room had a strong smoke smell.

The room was pretty updated with a nice bathroom and a small kitchen area including a microwave, sink, and mini fridge. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well in the room. The shower got extra hot quickly which was also very nice.

The only private seating area beside the beds or small stools in the room were lawn chairs outside of the room. It was on the theme, which was cute. However, the bugs at night were very attracted to the light outside of the room, so we had to kill several bugs that landed on us when we were sitting outside, and several bugs in the room that would fly in whenever we opened the door.

It was a nice stay compared to the usual hotel stays. Easy check in process. The room was a decent size for 2 people. They had it set up nice and even provided the necessities to cook your own meals! We checked out before anyone was around, it was nice to have a drop box for the keys when leaving.

The beds weren't the best for 2 people to sleep comfortably, maybe a 'full' size mattress. There were only 2 pillows in the room and they weren't big and fluffy by any means. I would recommend anyone staying to bring an extra if you like to sleep with 2 or more pillows under your head. Also the 'recliner' in the room was not in working condition. It wasn't plugged in and the cords were removed. We did notice an odor in the room right away that never seemed to go away the length of our stay.

The young woman who checked us in was courteous and very helpful. The location is right off of highway 57 - and yet, we did not hear traffic noise in our room. There are some fast foods restaurants, a Starbuck, gas stations, and a Target nearby. The double bed was a bit small but comfortable. Ther is a kitchenette for preparing your own meals.

There was a bit of an odor in the room. Not quite sure what it was. No other issues.

We really loved the motel and room decor. The kitchenette was well outfitted for use. The refrigerator had adequate space for ice cubes, our freezer bottles and 3 pints of ice cream. The location was good for traveling around Door County Peninsula.

The bathroom needed shelves and hooks closer to the shower for toiletries and towels. The overall room was great and we were very impressed.

Everything was great! Loved the room. The location was perfect. The staff was exceptional. Wanted to stay for the entire month that I'm in town for. Great rates. I highly recommend Motel 57!

I loved everything except that I had to check out. Wanted to keep my room for the entire month of my stay in town but had to check out on Friday, bc rooms were all sold out, then could check back in the following Monday. Be sure to reserve in advance of your trip.

The sound of the box spring since my wife who is a light sleeper is easily awoken by it. The 2 pillows provided in the room were worn out in terms of fluffiness, could have easily been remedied by providing additional pillows though or replaced by housekeeping, but we didn't want to bother about it.

We are used to the usual coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave in our stays, but this place offers even kitchen utensils! Not only for eating but also for cooking! We had a portable electric stove and pans, assorted spatulas, which are essentials for cooking! We were impressed with the layout of the room, as it was utilized well! A makeshift dining table in front of the TV! The room felt home-y as well, minimalistic design but pleasant to the eyes. Gorgeous kitchenette and bathroom sink backsplash. Sanitized-labeled toilet seat gave us peace of mind. If it weren't for the bed and pillows, I'd rate this place a 5/5, so for now, I give it a 4.5 for a wiggle room for improvement on our next visit! 😊

Great location and staff very nice.

AC broken. Cold and could not get to heat. Staff tried to help but could not fix. We chose to stay at another hotel our last night and was credited one night which was very much appreciated. Stains on comforters was a turn off. The rest of the room was clean.

Quiet, no doors banging in the hallways and shouting at 2 am like the chain motels. Not many Mom and Pop motels around anymore. I've stayed in a few over the years and I'd have to rate yours the best out of any !

I don't like to complain but you asked. On the shower floor some type of grip tape or similar paint/grit combo put down as it was slippery once the soap mixed with the water. Like I said, you asked. Oh, I thought the curtains were too flimsy and let in too much outside light at night.....but that's my thoughts. It may not bother the next person......... Taking care of the slippery shower floor would be a priority as it may prevent a lawsuit against you.

No Breakfast

The wall hangings above bed were filled with dust. It would be nice to have shades or darkening curtains to block light at 6am. The coffee pot inside the basket had mold/crusty white stuff. The bed closest to the door could use a new mattress. I could feel and hear the springs
