La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Milwaukee Airport / Oak Creek

It’s not the Ritz but clean, no smoking in the entire building because I have a nose for this, and no bedbugs. Solid mattress to enable deep slumbers and not noisy either.

Breakfast was sketchy, no fresh fruit of any kind and weak coffee.

clean room. nice cleaning women in hallway. The room didnt have any broken nightstands or soiled carpeting, which the other laquinta hotel had in Milwaukee area

No coffee maker in the room or a refrigerator. One fellow on the staff found a coffeemaker for me, but I only drink decaf and I stayed 3 nights. I only had 1 packet of decaf. There was no water in the lobby and no hot breakfast like i had in the other one I stayed at in New berlin WI.

property was good but as much as I spent on the room you would think the breakfast would be better than cold cereal and yogurt that would be my only complaint I want stay there again when I can go somewhere cheaper and get a hot breakfast to me that’s important if I spend over 400 I should have a hot breakfast

Well when I came in they told me I did not have a reservation and they couldn’t find my name anywhere. I didn’t quite give up that easy just gave my name he searched it and searched and told me he was sold out and overbooked.I just you know I said I made it and then he said he found it I think it’s name is Pat he found it but he found a room for my room and not for our friends it was but I don’t have one for your friends and like I wasn’t going to stay here without our friends. so suddenly he said he was going to look at a room and we’ll if he did not find one.$$ and that he tried very hard to find the rooms that where booked to begin one. I understand the reason for overbooking because you’re hoping somebody doesn’t show up but honestly I want to sure thing and I would be very leery to try to book at another La Quinta we did for September this year in Madison Wisconsin so we’ll see how that goes

The staff was tremendous, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

The wifi was spotty at best. At times it was good, other times not so much..

Price was reasonable

Continental breakfast was not much. Nothing really to choose from. We checked out and went somewhere to eat. We stayed somewhere else the night before. They had a much better selection. Probably won't stay again. Not like it used to be.

Staff

Wasn't able to get additional pillows, pull out couch had something on the floor under it, no fitted sheet, no pillows, no blanket. TV cable didn't work in pull out couch room, bathroom light in king room was going out

the customer service was superb! friendly staff all around. first time in the area and they where all wiling to assist. plus, airport shuttle was quick and efficient. also, SAFE. I always felt safe.

the property could use a small face lift. perfect for solo traveler and anyone looking for low budget stay.

Location was near the airport with a restaurant next door & just what we needed from our flight.

Elevators were out & we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs

We hoped to be next door because we needed two rooms for five guests. Instead one was upstairs but that was okay and we were able to manage well. Elevator and cart for baggage helped.

This was a very crowded time in Milwaukee where we had hoped to stay. This location worked for us after all but was not the best. Booking did a great job for us.
