The hotel is excellent, stellar property, rooms are great but what really puts the Savitsky Plaza is the absolutely INCREDIBLE staff! Very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.

Me and my family have enjoyed staying in Savitsky Plaza. Modern hotel with all the facilities and amazing view from the balcony. The staff are all supportive and friendly. It is a bit far from the center of the city but taxi (Yandex Taxi or Taxi OK) is very cheap there so it was not an issue. On the other hand, the hotel is located in a beautiful area in which there are dancing fountains, "eternal city" and other places which are nice for walk. I highly recommend this hotel to all who are planning to visit Samarkand.

I had higher expectation for breakfast. Mostly the same dishes every day with only 1-2 items got changed. The variety of food items could be better.

Breakfast, clean room, view from balcony. Bathroom was great, shower pressure was OK. Bed and pillows were great and comfy.

Nosy drunk man at 04:00 talking over very loud the phone at the terrace of the Beer Bar (Khmelnoff) and overall noise coming from ground floor. I was on the 7th floor and by closing balcony door did not help to reduce his ugly voice. Had a feeling that other people just don’t care about others discomfort caused by them. Noise of moving furniture at the ground floor and laughing loud by group of people. If you are noise sensitive I would recommend to use ear muffs or choose another hotel. Reception lady was very tensed and no smile at all, needs retraining. Room 50712 TV must be reinstalled on a proper angle. Breakfast was very good but a bit costly. Make sure you book your room with breakfast included to reduce the pain when you be paying on check out. ;-)))

Very luxurious hotel with wonderful staff and excellent amenities and a very good breakfast. Staff were incredibly helpful at all times. Rooms were spacious and some with nice balconies.

This is standalone site away from Samarkand. Good for buisness and if attending a conference. You can easily get taxi's to the city centre but not great location if you desire to visit Samarkand and all its amazing sites.

Great hospitality, kind staff. Drinking water was provided every day and they were helpful with any issue that came up during my stay. Absolutely great rooms and food, even the beer was like in Europe. Rooms have iron and hairdryer. Every day was cleaning.

Before my arrival the communication wasn't smooth, but no-one has to worry, they would provide solution on the spot. Taxi is much cheaper than the hotel's transport (they could provide hotel transport invoice as well as about the room) (i think this is the reason if they are not responding quickly on that topic).

Everything was phenomenal! The whole Silk Road complex is a great addition to the city - very lively place, but at the same time it is peaceful. Service at the hotel is superb, as well as the cleanliness, size and design of the room. If I come back to Samarkand, I would definitely choose Savitsky Plaza.

Everything was perfect.

The room was clean and spacious. The room service was prompt and the staff were very friendly and professional. The Greek salad was beautifully presented, and the honey cake and shrimp Caesar salad were delicious. I appreciated the view of the canal. It was great to be able to order in room dining via the TV.

I have a few suggestions: 1) To provide Earl grey tea in the room and breakfast. 2) To have a coffee machine at breakfast, and for the waiters to serve the guests tea/ coffee. 3) It would be great to have canoes and bicycles available for the guests to use. 4) To have folk/ traditional dances/ musicians to perform for 30 minutes 3 times a week in the evenings. 5) To train (temporary workers) additional cleaners, so when you are short staffed service is not compromised. On my 2nd day I returned in the afternoon from sightseeing and my room had not been cleaned, and on my 2nd to last day my room was not cleaned despite asking for it to be cleaned. 6) To respond to emails from guests. I sent 2 emails requesting an airport transfer. After no responses, I phoned the hotel.

• My room had a balcony with a stunning view of the canal—it was such a highlight of my stay! Sitting there in the mornings and evenings was incredibly relaxing. • The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. • The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions.

Everything was just up to the standards of a 5-star accommodation even though it is only a 4-star hotel. Guest rooms were clean, spacious, have balconies and equipped with basic amenities. The property provides free shuttle from the hotel to the city centre which is an added bonus. Staff were amazing, very accommodating and friendly. Shoutout to Aminjon and Shahzoda at the reception desk! Breakfast has a lot of variety and surprisingly this hotel has their own beer brewery. Cool! I just wish one day the property will consider of putting up a swimming pool for its in house guests.

The A/C of our room has a slight hiccup as it didn’t function very well. It keeps returning to its standard temp of 24degrees.

This is a hidden gem! The property has been developed on the outskirts of Samarkand in a huge development (called Silk Road Samarkand) which has a rowing canal and other hotels, a Congress and even a complex which had replicas of major places of Uzbekistan, and it was called 'Eternal City'. This complex had lots of shops/restaurants/boating etc. Savitsky Plaza is a brand new hotel and has high quality fittings and fixtures. Linen was all new and crispy. Toilets were modern and had a heated toilet seat and a control panel to control the bidets. Surprisingly their room pics on booking.com are artist impressions. The reality what I saw is better than these pictures. The service is very good and the staff go out of their way to please you. Anvar (front office) and Umid (front office) were very good. Anvar interacted with me over phone and made us very comfortable with his impeccable English. Restaurant service was very good too. The quality of the food during breakfast was excellent. Views from the room were of the canal and in the horizon we could see snow clad mountains. We could also see Samarkand city from our rooms. They have a nice musical fountain visibile from the room too. The city center (Registon square) was a 15-20 min Yandex Taxi ride and costed us a mere 2 USD per ride. Hence, being a bit away from the city center didn't matter to us at all. Was easy to get Taxis. Walks along the canal were sublime. Freshly laid grass and newly planted trees are all around the property. Overall, we had an excellent stay and highly recommend this property. I think the whole location has a lot of potential and will become world famous in the future.

There is nothing that we didnt like. But as a suggestion, a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam, sauna facilities would be great. they do have a modern gym though.
