The hotel is located in the old section of the city but it is a great location. With shops and attractions nearby. The building is older so expect some issues. We had a burned bulb in our nightstand lamp (fixed). The TV had snow on all channels, not very enjoyable (not fixed). Had one issue with wifi but generally worked. Had a window but no real view just back of some building. Don't expect hand towel or a second pillow etc. The breakfast is adequate but hoped for more veggies, perhaps some pastry and orange juice, bacon more often. We had a taxi mix up at the airport etc. Having said all that I had to give them high ratings because the staff was friendly, helpful and bent over backwards to make us feel at home. Laundry practically next door with under 24 hour turn around at a cheap price. All and all a good value for $100 for 4 nights. Booking's some $476.00 or something was ridiculous for this property. Also booking.com wasn't helpful despite calling them twice!

A few things but as I mentioned it at the price we finally booked it was a deal! It is not a A25 property (where we stayed prior at 35 percent higher price.)

We spent 8 nights with 4 years old. It was a one bedroom queen size room, it was so small for the three of us. So I asked for an upgrade, and they gave us a free upgrade to the family room with two bedrooms. We were so grateful for that. The staff are so nice and helpful, especially Anna. She speaks English very well and so friendly and nice. The location is also so strategic, which is near to all the main tourist attractions. All by foot distance. We chose this place because we didn't want to stress out by taking any transportation.

The building is old, it was overall clean. But we found some cockroaches during our stay, which was not fun.

The staffs were very accommodating especially that our timing of check in and check out were either too late or too early. They are also prompt in answering all my inquiries. They have good breakfast options as well.

The room tends to be warm at night, probably because we stayed in a big/ family room.

The location is very well, 600m walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. Buses and taxis are also very convenient. The boss and staff are friendly, enthusiastic, and thoughtful. Special thanks for helping us print a lot of documents. Keeping our luggage during our trip to Haiphong and reserve a room for our come beck. By the way, the western style breakfast is variety and delicious, and of course there are Vietnamese noodles.

We arrived at Hanoi at 10pm. Requested hotel staff for pick up from bus stop. But they couldn't arrange. Since airport pick up is available, they could have drivers on standby for pick-ups from interconnectivle bus stops too. just a suggestion.

The place is really quiet at night since its near a hospital so its far from the city night life. The food is also really good with unlimited fruits and Vietnamese coffee!

The hotel is in front of the garbage collection site. It doesn’t bother be that much since trash is always collected at night and I’m not in the hotel during the morning.

The hotel is conveniently located in the Old Quarter, very close to the lake and the rest of the attractions. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast was also very nice. Would recommended it!

Perhaps a more attentive eye to the cleaning of the room.

The hotel is just within walking distance around major tourist spots in Old Quarter. Staff were friendly and would greet me every time I come in and out of the hotel. Breakfast was filling, you can choose from the menu apart from the ones served on the buffet table.

They charged additional fee in using credit card for payment. It would have been better if they informed the guests beforehand of this policy.

The hotel will need an upgrade sooner rather than later. The room was really OK and comfortable, but windows 0.5m from another wall made it almost completely dark during day time, which bothered us a tiny bit.

Staff was very helpful and friendly.

I stayed in several places in Vietnam and this was the only hotel where I had a problem to pay with card (terminal was probably not working). The view from window was to a staircase, this was little frustrating but I spent most of time in the city center so I did not "enjoy" the view that much.
