We stayed here for around a week and had a lovely time. We only booked for a few days initially, but we decided to extend after we arrived. Its super close to St Joseph's and there are plenty of restaurants and shops around the hotel. The hotel itself is in a lovely quiet side street, whilst still be very central. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We always had hot water and the housekeeping was good. Breakfast had several options and the reception team were so helpful. We left something there when we checked out and they were so helpful sending it to Malaysia for us. We didn't use the service, but the reception team can also arrange tours for you if needed.

The only reason I gave 9 instead of 10 is that there was some work being done when we were there, which meant there was a bit of banging during the afternoons. This wouldn't bother some people, but we have young kids who nap, so it affected their routine a bit.

I was upgraded in a family room for 4 people, unneccessary. Being alone it would have been better to upgrade me in a more comfortable room rather than a bigger room.. However it would be unfair to complain for an upgrade... Staff a bit pushy for excusions and hotel rating...

This is my third stay at this property, and I will keep returning because of the staff- they are like a second family away from home! They go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met and more. The daily breakfast is 10/10, and has a lot of variety each day. The beds are comfy and the showers are hot, and the location cannot be beat. The staff gladly arranges transport or activities as needed.

Boutique hotel near Old Quarter, good location. Breakfast is quite delicious. Room and bathroom was spacious for 4 of us. Location near the popular Cathedral & plenty of eateries nearby. They provide Hanoi tour, which I appreciate so much. I registered for City Tour, Ninh Binh & Ha Long Bay Tour. Their staffs were very caring, helpful, informative and they speak english well. Special thanks to Mr Dong, Mr Brian & Ms Rose.

too many stairs and too narrow space at entrance and breakfast lounge area with short ceilings and less varieties of breakfast food available. the room door need to be upgraded as our key caught in the lock few times & unable to unlock.

Enjoyed the stay. Unique double room , 2 beds separated by a partition for 3rd bed . Both partition had its own AC, TV . It was like a small room within a room. Location in alley, not accessible by taxi, but staff picks and drop your luggage. Good but limited and repeated breakfast spread. We asked for sandwiches and fruits boxes as our departure was early in the morning, they provided. Booked Halong Bay and Ninh binh tours through them. Suggest doing Halong Bay tour first then Ninh Binh.

Nothing except a 3% was charged by hotel on room booking amount, paid by international debit card. Not sure this is a normal.

Amazing stay the entire time hotel is In a amazing location next to the old colonial cathedral. Breakfast is included and has both continental and Asian food (hot and cold) on offer. The hotel manager and staff were very nice and welcoming I'd have to say thank you to Mr Tom, Mr Brian, Mr Harry and Mr Dong for making my stay the best I've ever had.

It was a really nice place to live in. The staff was really helpfull and nice. The bed was a little hard for my partner but they tried to make it softer. The breakfast was great. They changed some dishes every day whitch made it fun to see what kind of dish it would be that have changed. It was close to the Old town and you could grab a taxi just few meters from where the hotel were. We lived in 8th floor and you could not hear a lot of sound. The only sound you could hear was around 8 o´clock in the morning. It was music that just lasted for 5 minutes or so. You got a welcome drink and fruit on your arrival. You could also leave your luggage after you checked out if you had a late flight. And you could borrow a towel if you wanted to take a shower before going to the airport, free of charge. The room was really good and it was clean. They cleanded the room every day.

The only thing was the bed. It was a little hard if you are not used to beds that doesn´t have slatted base for beds. But if you are not sensitive then the bed is good.

The staff were the best part of our stay. Their English was excellent and they were very thorough making sure we had everything we needed with genuine smiles Ms. Rose, Mr. Dong, Ms. Kimme in particular we’re excellent, especially Ms. Kimme who booked our tours for us to Ha Long Bay and Ninh Bình.

The room we stayed in had holes in a small recess in the ceiling and we heard something move in there on multiple nights. It wasn’t enough to keep us awake but still a little creepy. The shower in our room had a gap in the door which leaked water everywhere if you angled the shower head toward it at all.

The staff was very attentive from the night we checked in to our checkout. Mr. Hong was always accommodating in everything we needed. If we asked for something that was not available, he found a way to help us. The breakfast was delicious with an array of choices to please all palates. Staff were very pleasant & friendly. The location was perfect & central to all activities. I would highly recommend this hotel & it certainly set the bar high for all our subsequent stays in Asia.

In a great central location. Staff very helpful with recommendations, they couldn’t do enough for us. We even got a gift on checkout. Beautiful and varied breakfast. Pho on request.

The first room offered to us was very small and directly next to reception. It was so noisy and there was zero chance of sleeping in there. In my opinion this room should not be used for guests. This is literally the only thing I had to moan about though. We were however moved on request and even upgraded without asking. Great customer service. Rooms that face the church will unfortunately get a loud early wake up when the bells start, although not the fault of the hotel.
