My stay at San Grand was beyond exceptional. This is prime location to everything you need in Hanoi whether it is for a long/short-term. All the districts are within reach. I stayed only one night and would have loved to extended. Facilities, room and decor overall have a very contemporary yet traditional vibe. Staff at reception are very helpful, friendly and will go the extra mile to guide any questions making you feel at ease. Reception counter and on floor staff deserve a mention as I dealt with each and every one who gave 5 star service. Thank you to Taylor, Mia, Mike ⭐️, Emma, Ruby, Leo, Harry, Will and Lisa.for their hospitality. Will definitely recommend you look no further and book this Hotel when in Hanoi. This is a hidden gem.

I recently stayed at the Lucien hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam and had a great experience. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and well-located in the city. However, what really made my stay special was the exceptional service provided by a staff member named Martin. He went above and beyond to ensure that I had a pleasant stay, providing helpful recommendations for local restaurants and activities, and always being available to answer any questions I had. Martin's friendly and attentive service made me feel truly welcome at the Lucien and I would highly recommend this hotel to others, particularly if they have the pleasure of interacting with Martin during their stay.

Staff was very nice and the spa in the hotel was great. Ruby from the staff was very friendly and helped us with our day trip to Ninh Binh. Breakfast was also good.

From the moment the front door was opened to us, we felt exceedingly well looked after. Our room had everything we needed, and was beautifully dark and quiet for an incredible night's sleep. The location in the heart of the Old Quarter cannot be beaten, especially if you're a foodie. The sky bar gives a fabulous view of the city and nearby lake. Massages from the in house spa are some of the best we've had (and we've had plenty...!) We loved it so much we cancelled our planned hotel for when we return to Hanoi and have rebooked at Lucien!

We loved the neighborhood and the hotel staff was excellent- extremely helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds, good air conditioning, and accommodating with vegan options at breakfast.

The location was very good and convenient. Staff were excellent, especially Ruby who was very professional and friendly. She provided good restaurant recommendations and goes an extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of.

The layout of the bathtub could be improved so that the water doesn’t flow out onto the floor

Internet could be stronger

This is a phenomenal place to stay in Hanoi. It is close to the lake and all the action in the old town while providing a luxurious retreat from Hanoi's craziness. The breakfast was wonderful with so many choices in the lovely room overlooking the lake and old town Hanoi. We enjoyed the rooftop bar on two nights and loved watching the city fade to dark at sunset. The rooms are on the small side but have everything you need. The beds are cozy and AC works very well. Anthony, Leo, and Simon were particularly helpful at the front desk with anything we needed. Staff goes above and beyond to care for you. This was the perfect place to start and end our month long journey in Vietnam.

This was my second stay and I did not like the bathtub/shower combo unit in my room this time. It leaked all over the floor and was very annoying. In my first room, I had a walk-in shower that did not have this issue. Everything else was wonderful!

The Hotel is very central but surprisingly quiet at night. The entrance is on a market street and in the morning you’ll have just to step out to enjoy the local vibe. Loved it.

The location is perfect with all the major places at a walking distance. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Lisa and Ruby along with others made sure our trip to the city was super comfortable. Lovely experience overall
