Very comfortable hotel, with extremely friendly staff that make you feel at home. The manager Philip helped me arrange and plan the rest of my holiday in Vietnam and helped me book trips to ha giang, halong Bay and flights to other parts of the country. Saved me a lot of time and stress this holiday. Furthermore the hotel is located in the heart of the centre and everything is in walking distance, or a short grab ride away (if it's too hot to walk).

My room didn't have windows, but somehow quite some mosquitos came into the room, I think through the bathroom vent.

Location is fantastic, but it's all about the staff here. They are extremely welcoming, helpful and attentive. Philip is a great guy and will give you all the help you need so that you feel right at home here and with great local recommendations! Room is small but this is to be expected in the Old Quarter. It was clean, well equipped with shower gel, soap etc, and the shower had a lovely flathead attachment which was a lovely touch. Breakfast is good, and open for a long time which is a nice bonus! Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough and great value for money!

1: It is very close to the main city attractions. 2: the staff is amazing, good English and for the first time in Vietnam GREAT customer care. 3: great massage, as customer of the hotel I had a nice discount. 4: buffet breakfast. The guy in the kitchen is great. The whole staff is good and the noodles are fantastic. 5: special mention for the manager,Philip, he organised for me 4 different tour. Trust him, he is great.

I had a small issue during one of my tour but Philip fixed it in a really good and professional way. Nothing to complain about it!

We booked 1 night at SILK CASTLE Hotel & Spa . Up arrival, we booked the SHORT PACKAGE 4 days 3 nights as Hanoi Foods tours + Ha Long bay 2 days 1 night on luxury Cruise + airport transportation that all was excellent and great value. Our rooms was very new, modern, clean, great facilities and nice view, great raining shower and comfortable bed. The hotel location is great close to many good restaurants, coffee shops, beautiful Hoan Kiem lake and shopping ... HOW EVER , Silk CASTLE hotel is Special hotel than many Boutique hotels in Asia that's about their staffs was awesome, super friendly, amazing and cute, i'm feeling my home when we been their. Thank you very much to MR PHILIP and high recommending to every one looking the perfect Boutique hotel in Hanoi old quarter !

This is an excellent budget hotel. I stayed with my family including my parents for 4 nights (14.08.23 to 18.08.2023). Excellent staff, excellent location, excellent breakfast ---. To be honest everything is good with this hotel. My special thanks to Mr. Philip (Manager) who has perfectly arranged my all local sightseeing. No only that, he has given me incredible gift while I was leaving the country. I will have always regards for him. I will highly recommend this hotel. Trust me you will love it.

Beside the busy location and considering that both rooms (2x stays) did not had a window, there was no noise from the bustling Hanoi. Good airco, fridge and TV in room. Clean towers in the morning. Good reasonable breakfast included. Mr. Philip and his stuff are very friendly, helpful with tips ( heling to get taxis…). After checkout possibilities to have a shower before heading to next destination. Worth to return when in Hanoi

Right in the heart of the action, you are greeted with a warm charm and kind welcome that I so appreciated after the travel into the city. The staff are super helpful, answering all our questions. We did not have a Vietnamese adapter and the host invited us to use the one at the desk and even gave us a free one that he had gained along the way. Free wifi! The rooms are clean, bright and spacious. Our room even looked out onto some trees amidst the bustle of the city. Everything that you need ís provided: very comfortable pillows, bedding, toothpaste, shampoo, towels and changed each day! Highly recommended for a stay in Ha Noi.

Philip and the rest of the hotel staff (Lucas, Qin, and others) went out of their way to attend to our requests. The hotel is well-located in Hanoi's Old Quarter. The dining room staff are friendly and accommodating.

There were some issues with the bathroom. Breakfast was not ready in time, during a morning when we had to go out early for a tour. The narrow stairways can make one get claustrophobic.

The owner (Philip) is the man, he's very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped book our transport & accommodation for the Ha Giang loop and advised us regarding our Laos visa. The accommodation location is very central and handy for most things.

The elevator makes a ding-dong noise every level it stops at which can be heard in the rooms (owner said he was fixing it) and the higher levels get very hot in the day.

We stayed here at the start and the end of our holiday. It is located right in the Old Quarter and so most things you want to see as a tourist are within walking distance. Plus the bustle of the Old Quarter is great. The building is interesting inside. The staff are very helpful. They will book a taxi to collect you and take you to the airport, if you need it (just email them), and help you arrange onward travel (in our case, to HALONG BAY ). The room are nice and clean, with good air-con.
