We booked here for a week so we could be in a good location for our son’s wedding and also central for a bit of sight seeing and also because it had a pool, gym and Spa. Because of the wedding prep we did not have loads of time spare for the gym or pool but we did have a full pamper session in the spa which was amazing and such good value!! All of the staff are all so attentive and lovely. In our first day we were late for breakfast which has a great and varied offering; but Chester just invited us to sit down and got us some food anyway. We felt so welcomed by everyone and nothing was too much trouble - genuine hospitality. The double bed was comfy and the shower was good, always makes for a great stay. Also - the in room media is great for when we just wanted to chill with Netflix as we could just log in to our account.

I had booked the deluxe double with a window. We felt the room was a bit smaller than we expected. There was limited wardrobe and storage space - One small wardrobe and one drawer. Probably not an issue for everyone if you travelling with less stuff! However - it gave us an opportunity to only unpack half our stuff which was helpful when we had to repack to fly to Nha Trang.

We enjoyed this Hotel so much we returned. The staff are wonderful with special mentions to Chester as usual, Huy and Don. There was also a lovely woman at reception but her name escapes us. The room is a good size with the bed very comfortable and a decent size balcony that has partial views of the Lake but at least there are chairs and a table for you to sit out there.

Certainly nothing we didn’t like. However, we did find it strange that the bottom bed sheets didn’t fit and had to have 2 to cover the bed. Certainly don’t remember that from our last visit but in fairness it was still comfortable. We would also like to suggest a larger bath mat and towels, though the latter is adequate but replacement of more luxurious feeling towels would add to a 5 star experience.

This hotel is right in the middle of the old quarter, but a short walk to Ho Kiem Lake. We stayed in a suite on the ninth floor which was very spacious and extremely comfortable. The breakfast at this hotel is one of the best around and was the highlight of our day. We signed up for the high tea package which was a treat every afternoon but you can get their delicious ginger tea in the foyer cafe at any time. Don, who advises and assists hotel patrons with tourist information and bookings is a wealth of information. His polite enquiries about our plans for the day meant that he alerted us to one of the sites being closed when we wanted to visit and saved us a wasted morning. There is a clean water dispenser on the ground floor, so that you can save plastic bottle waste. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Hanoi.

This was our second stay at this hotel and I would highly recommend. We started here and then returned after travelling around and before returning home. The staff are wonderful. So helpful and friendly. Every time we entered after being out they said 'welcome home' and that is how it felt. There were seven in our group and they knew all of our names. They had good recommendations for local restaurants and tours. Good breakfast and restaurant food. I had the best Australian steak here. Better than anything I have had at home. The location is perfect for exploring Hanoi by foot. An Oasis in the middle of all the craziness. Good massages within the hotel. Good roof top bar. Reasonably priced and some nice white wine which is hard to find in Vietnam.

We stayed in a junior suite which was well proportioned and well furnished with a lovely balcony to sit and watch the busy street below. The rooftop bar was perfect for having a cocktail whilst watching the sunsetting over the city. There was ample choice at breakfast with an excellent egg station plus the complimentary afternoon tea was good. The staff were friendly and professional with smiles on their faces at all times.....thank you all for a wonderful stay. We would highly recommend The Tirant to all who are visiting Hanoi!

I have never experienced such excellent staff in a hotel as in this hotel. Thanks !!! The rooms are excellent, but you should avoid the twelfth floor because of the noise at breakfast upstairs.

We had a great stay overall at the Tirant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded to a suite which was nice but lacked storage for clothes so it made it difficult to unpack. The room also smelt very damp. Hotel is in a great location in the old quarter. Beware though as it’s right on the weekend night market and was very very noisy (there was a man with a microphone singing right outside our window!) We knew to expect this at the weekend but hadn’t anticipated it being quite so loud. Breakfast was good, beds were comfortable and pool area was small but nice place to relax. I would recommend the hotel

Lack of storage in rooms. I think a warning should be given by hotel as to how loud the night market is - we were travelling with a 4 year old so this was difficult for us as we expected noise but not to that level

Clean room and large. Good shower with good water pressure and stayed hot. Enough space for my luggage, had a kettle, hairdryer and some dressing gowns. Breakfast buffet was nice with a decent selection. Fruits/ western and cooked. Not too many vegetarian options and minimal vegan options. I didn’t use the spa/gym or pool, so can’t comment on those. Location wise, it was right in the old quarter. Plenty of street food close by and a good central location. It is busy, but that’s the trade off for the location. The staff are kind, professional and attentive. It is well priced for the location and facilities.

It would be good if there were more vegetarian/ vegan cooked breakfast options. For example, offering some tofu in addition to the sausages/ bacon and eggs.

I recently stayed at the Hanoi Tirant Hotel and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The location is unbeatable, with key landmarks like Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter, and the vibrant night market all within walking distance. It’s perfect for exploring the city on foot! The hotel itself is spotless, with rooms that are well-maintained and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop bar, which offers stunning views and is undoubtedly one of the best in the area. The pool was a fantastic bonus, providing a refreshing escape after a day of sightseeing. What truly set this hotel apart was the incredible staff. A special shout-out to Na, who went above and beyond to recommend the best local food stops and shopping areas. She also helped us plan our trip, making the entire experience seamless. Chester was also very friendly, offering great guidance during our stay, and Don was equally helpful and welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend Hanoi Tirant Hotel for its prime location, cleanliness, amenities, and the exceptional service provided by its staff!

We arrived late into Hanoi and so organised an airport pick up through the a hotel. BEST hotel pick up ever! I love being on the back of a scooter ( don’t know how to ride myself) and as walking streets were closed off, would have had to walk last leg instead , as we reached close to Hoan Kiem the driver co-ordinated having scooters ready for the last part of the trip. made me SSOOOOO happy. Such a fabulous surprise! Check in was fabulous by Hilary and Na , I felt bad for not accepting welcome drink but they could see I was exhausted and needed the room having been awake for over 24 hours. My husband and I loved the room, beautiful decor, old world charm, excellent balcony with a view to the lake and coldest mini bar fridge in Vietnam, ( which is wonderful after a day touring) . Bed and pillows super comfortable. Hotel is within walking distance of so many fabulous sights, and an abundance of excellent food. We have returned to Vietnam in part for the street food so apart from a quick room service snack ( which was delicious and super hot / temperature wise) we only had a cocktail on the rooftop which was lovely. Didn’t use the pool but did use the gym which was clean and efficient. We stayed twice, once on arrival to Vietnam and second returning from Cat Ba. We requested same room and we were not disappointed. Luggage storage available should you be going to the north and returning to hotel. breakfast was one of the best in Vietnam, and as we had an early check out last day , a fabulous, greatly appreciated breakfast package was organised for our onward journey. All staff including, Hilary, Na , Duke , Don and Chester were amazing. Would recommend to all and would stay again. Thank you Tirant Team.
