Everything! The owner family is super nice and as you are logged in the upper floors of their home, you are in daily contact. The villa is situated on the island, so only bikes and vans are allowed to enter. However, you will definitely enjoy that the traffic is much calmer there and the bridge to the old town center is only a 5 minutes walk away. On the main road which is just next to the villa, there is the night market so even though it might seem a bit far from the center on the map,you are actually in the main night life area. But the area is still pretty calm so don't worry, you will sleep well. The room was super big, clean and it had everything necessary for a 4 night stay. The bed is also super comfortable. I also enjoyed the little balcony that goes with the room. The owners are great, always there and happy to help you out in case you need. I booked a half day trip to My Son and the airport transfer with them and everything was smooth. I also used the laundry services, borrowed a bike and had breakfasts. Their banh mi's are exquisite! The beach is only a 10mins drive by grab bike. I definitely recommend staying here and will definitely come back when I'm back in Hoi An!

Nothing, I liked everything.

Such a lovely stay in Hoi An. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and homely. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve had so far in Vietnam. Our room was also made up each day, with fresh towels provided at no extra charge. This was a lovely touch. We were able to order a drink and meal each morning as part of the breakfast included package. The was a good variety of options, and the food and drinks were yummy. The Homestay is well situated on a quiet street that opens onto a square, and within walking distance of the night market and old town. Our host, Chau, was very sweet and helpful, she gave us a big hug when we left! Would highly recommend.

Minor thing - two flight of stairs to access our room, however the space did not feel cramped and our room had plenty of windows.

We like (loved) everything! The owners are absolutely adorable and so friendly and welcoming. It really was like staying with relatives. The included breakfast is good, a few options so you can try a different one each day. Location is perfect - 50m to night market, a few hundred metres to the old town. Amazing places ro have lunch & dinner nearby. Laundry service for a small fee - leave in basket when you go out for the day and it is washed and delivered back to your room by the time you return. We loved this homestay & Hoi An so much we stayed an extra night ❤️

My stay at the Quynh Chau Homestay was an extremely pleasant one and an enjoyable one. The driver picked me up from the airport as requested and the guest house was so clean and tidy. The family were so polite and extremely friendly. My guest room was also so clean, big and very tidy and it was exactly as described on booking.com! The breakfasts were great too, especially the Banh Mi!! There was absolutely nothing I could fault on the place at all!

Can't say enough good things about this place. The couple who own it are just lovely. It was my birthday while we were there and my partner mentioned it just in passing when we went for breakfast and twenty minutes later there was a cake being delivered to our room!! Such kindness! We also did our laundry here for a very reasonable price. The room was huge with a lovely balcony and the location was superb.

Breakfast could do with a bit of variety.

Excellent value, clean and comfortable rooms, outstanding service, perfect location to visit the Old Town by walking. Value: we paid less than VND1,200,000 for 3 people for 2 nights (weekday, August 2023) for a comfortable room with air conditioning and ensuite bathroom, with a balcony, delicious breakfast (eggs with baguette / banh mi and coffee) included. Service: warm and friendly owners who were very flexible (e.g. allowed us early check in on a super hot day), and helpful in arranging for transport to Da Nang (additional charge, but cheaper than Grab). Location: on foot / by walking, less than 5 minutes to the night market, and about 8 minutes to the Ancient City, and yet quiet at night (the property is located in a quiet residential area). Within 5 minutes' walk to a wide range of food options at different price points. Rooms / environment: Clean and comfortable rooms and ensuite toilet, equipped with good facilities (e.g. toilet had a rain shower, hot water, enough hooks to hang towel and clothes when showering). As expected from the price it is not as luxurious as a 5-star hotel (e.g. no Smart Television or bathtub), but it is excellent value for money.

Such kind hosts! Chau & her family were really lovely, and friendly to our kids, which is important for us. The kids felt comfortable and happy, the room was large enough for them to play. Love the location, a few streets away from the main tourist spot, but very quiet! We had a great view from our balcony on the 3rd floor. The beds were huge, firm and we had the best sleep. Breakfast (cooked by Chau) was wholesome, with bread fresh from the bakery, and cooked with love. If we go back to Hoi An, this is where we will stay, without a doubt.

We were happy with everything!

Everything was perfect. The hosting family was extraordinary kind and helpful. We really felt like home. Rooms are big and very nice, with clean spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds. Breakfasts were very tasty and fresh. The homestay is in very peaceful area next to the city centre, which was perfect as the city center is quite noisy, especially in the evening. My best experience while travelling in Vietnam, honestly recommend it. Thank you once again for your kindness!

Everything was great

Great quiet location, comfortable and spacious rooms with good aircon & hot showers. Rooms are very bright and we had a lovely balcony. Simple but filling breakfast with choice of freshly cooked eggs, lovely warm baguette and great strong Vietnamese coffee. The best thing about this homestay is the family, they are just the loveliest, most welcoming people who make you literally feel like you’re home. They can organise any tours, transfers, even private drivers and provide cheap laundry services too. Nothing is too much trouble for them and we were sad to leave.

There is some construction next door which can be noisy but not a problem if you are sightseeing and they don’t work on a Sunday.

For a total of A$105 for three nights very comfortable accomm including breakfast, motorbike hire and an airport transfer, it is very hard to find anything to complain about! Beautiful couple running the place could charge double the price and it would still be outstanding value. Hope they do increase the price and improve their bottom line. Help them out by doing all hires/laundry etc through them. It’s right in the middle of lively market area and on a busy corner, though that just adds to the buzz.
