We reserved the smallest room at the hotel so we weren't expecting luxury. The room had a good size bed for two, one side of which was pushed up against the wall (so no bedside table on that side). At least two room types of larger size are available, however. We stayed a total of four days. This hotel is very affordable. They can send a driver to pick up guests in Da Nang, either from the airport or from a hotel, for 300,000 dong. The service was cheaper for us than using Grab, which would have cost about 80,000 dong more. The hosts were great and the location was fantastic - one street over from the main canal where the lantern boats run, but far enough down the street that there were no crowds from the throng of tourists that arrive in town toward evening. The next street over (two streets from the canal) was only a short walk and had much less expensive convenience stores and restaurants than the areas right along the canal (one of the convenience stores along the canal doesn't even post prices, which are unusually high). The room was small but had everything we needed, including a very small desk space for sitting and using a laptop. The shower had excellent water pressure. We felt that we got excellent value for the cost.

There is one thing to be aware of before booking of you plan to use a laptop. The free wi-fi was good enough to run Netflix on an iPad, but when I tried to connect my laptop and use a VPN to check an account back home, I had trouble with webpages not loading. I tried several different websites to be sure. I think the VPN probably took up too much bandwidth. Fortunately, there is a Highlands Coffee almost exactly opposite the hotel on the canal side with pretty good wi-fi that could probably be used when needed. We usually spent the hottest part of the day there for a change of scenery.

The Lit Villa was a home away from home... The family-run villa was perfect for our 3 day stays where they cared for you like their family. They provided tour options, car options, bikes/cycles, and even medicine when required. I would highly recommend staying here. Choose the balcony option for the room. They upgraded us to a balcony when we asked for it so it was more pleasant.

Very central to old town. Down a side street. Quiet at night . Very clean . Plenty of hot water, clean towels everyday If needed . Nothing was too much trouble , I needed to be somewhere quickly one night and Lit the owner very kindly dropped me there on her bike .Very much appreciated . Will defiantly stay there again if in Hoi An

One of main reason is because of the elevator since this is a family trip . My mom cant walk up the stairs so we need elevator unless the room is on the ground/first floor. Secondly, it is located near to the night market! Oh dear perfect place to stay 💕 The staffs also really friendly; the mother and his son. I got to talk to them. Its such a wonderful conversation and get to know more about them. Anyway, i just try to use simple english and sometimes i need google translate to help me also. So no problem 😍 I will be back again for sure 💕

This property is a small family run business located on the small island in Hoi An that hosts the famous night market. The location is perfect and is walking distance to everything.

Unfortunately we had a small hiccup on checkout at 0730am where there was no staff at reception and I couldn’t find them anywhere. My driver who was taking me to the airport and when they finally arrived she informed me that checkout payment was cash only (not previously informed) and I had to make a mad dash to the ATM to get some cash. Resulted in me being a hot sweaty mess for my ride to the airport.

The property was in a great location and to top it all its run by a family. It felt like we stayed in someone’s house so it was very cozy and comfortable. It was one of the best ways to learn a new place. Great people and very friendly.

We had the best stay at the Lit Villa Hoi An. The location was amazing, right around the corner from markets and great food options. The staff were lovely, helping us book drivers and also we did laundry with them at a super cheap rate.

Fantastic boutique home stay! Super clean and convenient room. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly family hosts. Super helpful with information and motorbike rental. Convenient and good price (300 D) car transfer to Danang airport. Great location. Just minutes walk from walking street and river. Quiet side street.

All was great!

Amazing location in Hoi An, just outside night markets but just tucked away enough to be away from the noise. Staff were also AMAZING, we checked out today but we didn’t need to leave until midnight on our train and they let us store our luggage and even offered us a shower at the end of the day. They also booked us a taxi to and from the station which was totally affordable. Didn’t use the pool but it was just outside our door and I’m sure it would have been nice and refreshing after being out in the heat all day.

It was nice, and the hosts were so helpful and friendly. The location is perfect. Water strong, AC cooling, bed comfortable. I must go back again if I travel to Hoi An. Highly recommend.

Drain holes are a little bit clogged. But I still like this hotel tho~ looking forward to them fixing this problem.
