The extremely helpful, kind and generous staff.Great location near the bamboo circus and old town. Superb breakfast ( you could more or less have anything that you wanted, but the fruit was particularly good).

breakfast was great always lots of fresh fruit and anything else we wished . Staff provided seconds of anything we needed and breakfast was a great choice of eggs and bread and bacon rolls etc , staff were also quick to serve and happy people . Room was good size with balconey and air conditioned . the location was great only a couple of hundred metres for all the action bars and restraunta and with a roof pool and view of the river .

cleaning around pool and pool area but those things were very minor . the pool itself was always clean but area some times had smokers asstrays which were left around .

I seriously loved this place. It is just over the main bridge from Old Town Hoi An, but back enough that it is quiet when you need to escape the crowds of tourists who flock to Hoi An every day. The staff are exceptional. Smiley, friendly, ready with icy cold fresh water whenever you arrive back to the hotel (and also for me when I left on my bicycle). Breakfast is included and is filling and varied. Loads of fresh fruit. The room was perfect. The bed was super comfortable and the staff attentive to cleaning it for me. They suggest a reasonably priced restaurant for you to eat at near the hotel, so that you are not paying too much (and the food is delicious). When I wanted a hire bike to ride all day, they brought one for me within minutes to the front of the hotel, for just 50k (AU$3.50). I would stay here again in a heartbeat and thoroughly recommend to others.

We loved our stay here! Our room was huge with a comfortable bed. Wifi was excellent and the owners were so so lovely! They provided unlimited cold water daily and arranged a fantastic cooking class for us (you can’t go wrong doing Kien’s eco cooking class). Daily breakfast on the rooftop was delicious and very large, probably the best breakfast we had our whole trip. The location is fantastic - in a really quiet street but 1 min walk to the night market and about 2 mins to the Japanese bridge. If we find ourselves in Hoi An again we’ll definitely be staying at Rockmouse!

We originally booked to stay 8 nights but then extended by additional 6 nights, as the accommodation was excellent value for money. I have to be honest & say the first room we stayed in was not great, as it had no window, however when we asked to move, the hosts could not have been more helpful, & moved us to a room with a balcony. The hotel does exactly "what it says on the tin", it is an exceptionally good value clean hotel, with excellent hosts & a superb breakfast. Nice Clean Room, Great Shower, clean towels daily, & as much free bottled water as you require.

The pool area could have been better equipped, but you have to recognise that this is a budget home-stay hotel, and as such represents exceptional value for money.

We loved our stay at Rock Mouse Villa. The location was perfect. It was calm while being so close to the action. The family hosting was so sweet and helpful. They would always make sure that we were comfortable. They would sit down with us to help us organize our activities and made great recommendations. We were able to organize a full day of activities and travel through them. Their recommendation for tailor was great and we loved their food recommendation so much that we ate there the 3 nights that we stayed in Hoi An. The pool was much needed in the warm weather! I can't make this review without saying something about the included breakfast. The Mi Quang that they prepare in house was one of the best meals I had in Vietnam. Overall this was a lovely stay with the best hospitality we experienced during our trip!

I absolutely highly recommend Rock Mouse Villa for anyone looking for a top location in the heart of Hoi An which is 2 minutes walk to the markets and about 5 to old town. The hosts are so friendly, helpful and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. The cold water every time you enter or exit the villa was an absolute welcoming treat as was the cold white Vietnamese coffee which was offered to us when we told them that we loved those drinks. We stayed in a room with two double beds which were comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the river which was just so lovely to sit out on and rest after busy days. Amazing breakfast made specifically to your order. I will definitely stay here again and I am very much looking forward to it.

The woman that runs the hotel is incredible helpful and friendly. She looks after her clients very well, always attentive and with a bottle of cold water in her hand to offer. The place was really closed to the old town. Breakfast was good every day. Although we didn't like the smell we stayed because of this fantastic woman's service and help.

The room get an unpleasant smell, like there is not enough air circulation. You get used to it. The room has a good size. The views from the window weren't great. But that was never a promise.

Family of 2 adults and 2 children (7&9) had a great stay at Rock Mouse Villa. The room had 2 large double beds, balcony and a wet room shower/toilet. The villa is round the corner from the night market in a peaceful street that’s within walking distance to all sights and attractions in town. The host is brilliant, very friendly and she was happy to help organise transport & tours. They provide plentiful chilled bottled water at no extra cost. Breakfasts were home cooked and delicious. The pool is perfect for a cool off in the heat. Would 100% recommend, we would definitely come back if returning to Hoi An

Rock Mouse is a lovely villa on a beautiful street. It is set a little back from the hustle-and-bustle but it’s still really close to lots of great things to see and do. The rooms are very clean and safe. The rooftop is lovely and the view is beautiful. The best thing about Rock Mouse is the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! They provided lots of suggestions of places to eat, tours and day-trips, and a local tailor! Everything about my stay at Rock Mouse was fantastic. I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed!
