The staff is amazing. Clement, Bruce and Sharon were the real stars but almost everyone is really friendly and helpful....

Management is not friendly. There is a white lady manager who never greeted us for the whole 6 days of our stay. Very disappointing.... They never cleaned the gym during our stay, and we had to ask for fresh towels each time we go to the gym. Their pricing is USD based and highly pricey for SADC tourists. Was very disappointed to be quoted $22 per person for a family of 4 ($88) for less than 10 mins Airport dropoff... But it is all good. The kids had a great time.

Nice restaurant and a nice swimming pool, with a great view over the river. Rooms placed nicely next to the riverbank forest clean, convenient rooms and bathrooms, hotel's own high class river cruiser, adventure tour office directly at the hotel, and of course dazzling Zambezi sunsets.

Deserts a bit heavy for my taste, not many lighter options. Service at the restaurant could be a bit more perceptive during dinners. The only music option during our 3 days stay was live music recital a bit too loud no matter of your sitting area - the musical option should be rather added to the quiet option and not replaced it.

Great location, beautiful, large room and grounds. The view of the Zambezi river is to die for. Their mocktails... were yummy! they put different sweets on our pillows at turn down, sprayed the room every day since the place has lots of mosquitoes so we didn't experience any. the pool is great and just at the river

I felt that some of the staff were a bit snobbish to me. Service in the restaurant was a bit slow and at times we would sit around without someone coming to ask us what we need. When we asked for the spa menu, it was nowhere to be found, and the staff kept on asking us if we were residents. The breakfast spread was a bit boring and monotomous, we had the same breakfast for the the three days we stayed there and nothing changed

Friendly check-in with welcome drink, and they remembered me and my Booking.com messages / requests! We also got a voucher for a free drink because we booked through Booking .com. The setting on the river is beautiful and very peaceful. Brilliantly convenient for the sunset cruise, which leaves right from the hotel. The cruise was lovely, and the captain was super friendly and informative. Our room was exactly as per the pictures, clean, very roomy, lovely view from the little balcony. Breakfast was great, for dinner we just had it in the bar rather than the restaurant. Very friendly, vibrant bar. There was a conference on when we stayed and I liked that it made the place seem alive, and it also was great to see so many local people rather than just tourists.

Although I liked the peaceful location, and it was perfect for one night, for some people it might not be that convenient a location as you would have to get taxis to both Livingstone and the falls. But if you like peace and quiet, this is perfect. The cost of the dinner I had in the bar was a bit high given it was just a small salad.

Overall, this was a lovely hotel and I would stay there again. The location on the river was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurants was excellent.

The location is a bit remote and the hotel discontinued its complimentary shuttle into Livingstone during the pandemic, so going anywhere involved a 20-30 USD taxi ride. Also, most activities that the hotel arranges (airport shuttle, game drives, tours, etc.) have a two-person minimum, which was less convenient for me as a solo traveler.

Breakfasts were excellent! Staff were excellent. Beautiful location. We were very happy with the service

One night's dinner was not good and we told the waiter that the ribs were very very tough and the second dinner also was not terrific. It would have been a good idea to have the chef talk to us. Nothing was done, there was no compensation at all and no one came to talk to us about the 2 poor quality dinners. The night before the dinners were very good.

The room was lovely with a great river view. It was ready early so we could enjoy it the whole day. The staff were friendly, particularly the head chef who ensured we were catered for as vegans. The pool was nice and there was a small gym overlooking the river, which we used. The grounds overall were pretty and we loved the Sunset cruise. It might seem pricey but drinks were unlimited and we had some nice canapes.

The food was expensive and wasn't the best. We walked across the bridge to waterfront for food which was better in value and selection for vegans. Same for the drinks, but its to be expected in a fancier hotel. One thing they must change is the provision of drinking water. There should be a water filter tank where guests can refill their bottles to reduce plastic waste. The sprinklers were on far too much considering it had been raining.

Everything in the lodge from the time of check in to check out was amazing, The resort is an absolute worth to visit within Livingstone and probably one of the best things we did in. We visited in back to back in 2 weeks, The views of Zambezi river from the rooms, Room being cleaned twice every day and with the little sweet savories,

There was nothing we didn't like, The only thing which would be a good add would be some halal food in the restaurants menu.

Beautiful property, amazing views over the Zambezi - you can literally see hippos from the balcony. The rooms are super luxurious, bathtubs and rainfall showers. I was down in room 274 which was great as it was away from the pool and restaurant, so was lovely as quiet. They even do turn down service with a treat on your pillow.

They had a big buffet event on for both nights I stayed (NYE) instead of a la carte at the restaurants, which was a shame. Too much food that was expensive.

The staff were incredible from start to finish. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and they really made a huge effort to make us feel special. The pool is incredible and we spent most evenings watching the sunset with a delicious cocktail in hand. On the Friday night they had a live musician that was incredible and just added to the atmosphere. You felt like you were in the wild, lived the amount of animals, insects and birds that were around the lodge. We loved our time ❤️
