I was blown away by the service & hospitality provided by the staff. From the front desk staff, cleaners, and waitors. So friendly, you can tell they are well trained. I have to specifically mention Dwayne and Mrs Shaick (if I remember her name). Dwayne made us feel welcome from the first day and he constantly checked on us, same with the lady, she was readily available to resolve any issues like a pro. They could, however, take the evening chef to the same training, looks like he missed it - very arrogant. Food was nice, whatever one ordered from the menu was really nice.

The beds are so uncomfortable, we booked a family room and all the beds had thin sponges that drop all the way to the base of the bed, making it feel like you're sleeping directly on the hard base of the bed. Our neighbours also complained about the same issue. Breakfast was delicious, actually all their meals are nice. They could introduce some variation though with the buffet breakfast. Eating exactly the same thing for 4 days was starting to get to me.

Location is good, reception is 10/10.

The sponge/mattress is sagging badly, gave me a back pain. The whole hotel is old and needs refurbishment. The pool is slippery, especially on the deep end. Restaurant stuff is not attentive

Excellent location. Very close to Restaurants, Shopping centres, Taxi stand. Helpful staff. They have upgraded our rooms. Those who wish to visit Victoria falls may find this property very convenient. Take a sharing taxi for a 20 minute journey to the falls for only 25 Kwacha which is 1.5$ per person. Tour companies charge 10$. Also bring rain coat for visiting falls.

Breakfast was expensive & we skipped it.

The hospitality of the people working at the hotel from reception to the restaurant stuff. We felt very welcomed here.

Too many internet routers that disconnects the internet as one moves & never returns automatically when one goes back to the hotel or the area. It is time consuming to always connect using those slips we get. IT should improve this in order for the hotel to get 10/10 reviews. Visitors from abroad rely on good internet to connect to their loved ones back home.

Location was excellent, pool was exceptionally clean, grounds we well maintained and lots of seating areas outside . The staff were exceptional. They always found time several times a day to talk to us and see if we had any problems which we didn't have. The mangers were very helpful and one manager even had a special surprise for us and our son. We have never been treated this well in any other place we have stayed. They genuinely care about all their guest. There was a restaurant on site and the food was very good. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone staying in the vicinity of Victoria Falls.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay, and I can't say enough about how amazing the staff were. From the moment I arrived early, they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. They were exceptionally accommodating, friendly, helpful, kind, and genuinely caring. No request was too big or too small—they truly do everything possible to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as it can be. They even took care of me when I needed to leave late, allowing me to fully enjoy my time without any rush. The food was another highlight of my stay. Not only was it delicious, but they also offered local dishes, including fried bream that was absolutely amazing! The breakfast was very filling and helped me to get enough fuel for those grueling adventurous days. Overall, the exceptional service and attention to detail made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming experience.

Alan was amazing with his hospitality!!! I felt like a VIP. The hotel upgraded my room. I thought that was very exciting. He walked us to the suite and showed us how everything works. He also made arrangements for us to get to the airport. He was dressed impeccably, and all the staff friendly and highly professionally. It's not what i expect from a 3rd world country. Definitely worth the few extra dollars. Paid $110 a night.

I sure hope and pray that the drought gets over soon. It causes power outages in some places. Luckily New Fairmont has a generator.

Stay at Fairmount hotel was like staying at home, the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The experience was overall excellent - Euphrasia called to check about the airport pick up, Dawney ensured that there was internet by providing me with a mobile router. Ms. Anita and Ms. Subhasini the GM of the hotel ensured a comfortable stay. The highlight of my stay was the Indian food that i took every day - Kadai Chicken and Mutton Rogah Josh with Garlic naan and Tandoori roti were excellently prepared by well trained chef. Thank you everyone for making my stay very comfortable and memorable.

Efforts to make internet available full time would be good, breakfast could have better options.

EXCELLENT customer service!!! Allan at the reception desk (& other 2 ladies) was fantastic! Went out of his way to help us with our departure, drive to the airport (including late check out) & even wanted to surprise us with a goodbye dinner since we had to leave Africa unexpectedly back to LA. He’s a tremendous asset to the company. Our cleaning lady, Sylvie (or Sylvia) was very helpful & efficient too. Spacious bathroom & garden outside the room. Location very close to souvenir shops, bank etc.

Our bed was a little too hard for me.

The hotel staff😍😍they were so welcoming and always willing to help.They even upgraded our room at no cost. We felt at home and also they treated us for a complimentary dinner because it was my birthday not only me but my 2 friends too. Mwiche, Phillip, Allan and Barbra oh guys you were amazing and I’m definitely coming back. Thank you so much. Please be kind to the other kinds too I’m telling they’ll want to come back like us

I was so sad when they didn’t have brown bread for two days I don’t eat white bread but at least on our last day we did have brown bread and I was so happy 😁
