Location was great. Area isn't so clean but honestly it was still great. You can't beat being right next door to a donut shop, pizza, subway. Down the street walking distance is In n out plus amazing mom and pop restaurants to eat at for some amazing breakfast. The shuttle to Universal is also about I would say 5 min or less walk but so worth the price and location. This beats hands down the Hilton and Sheraton just because they are so overpriced when you can stay here for a little less and get free breakfast or go wherever you prefer. Room was very clean with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The AC was amazing, and it does come with a tv, but honestly if you plan to spend the whole day at Universal all you really need it a bed and bathroom because your so tired and this place worked for us.

Parking was a little uncomfortable just because some of the spaces are small but if you take the time to park correctly you will be fine.

We loved the staff, they were just wonderful I can not say enough about how helpful and respectful and just so nice they were.. the hotel was comfy and clean and they helped us so much ..

We. Arrived in early to go to universal studios and our room was not ready yet it was to early but they let us park our car there and told us about the free shuttle and showed us were to get it and told us whenever we got back they would have our key to our room etc and they did the night person was just awesome ..I just can not say enough!!! I definitely would stay there again the next time we needed to be in that area!! . .thank you so much

The staff was wonderful, and you couldn't ask for a better value in LA! The room is clean, and while it won't be the most quiet depending on your neighbors or the most cushy, it is the perfect place just to rest especially if going to Universal which is super close!

The parking spots are very small, so make sure you know how to park well if you decide to drive your own car. Mostly, everything was great for a small, locally-owned, budget-friendly spot though. Just keep that in mind.

Picked this room based solely on 2 requirements. Walking distance to universal studios and free private parking. This was the end of a 10 day road trip and we had lots of supplies in the truck I didn't want to be a target for thieves. Nite in has a small parking lot but it is walled off/partially hidden from the main street and right in front of the main office to discourage potential break ins. The hotel is also a 15min walk to the front gate of universal or a 5 min walk to the shuttle that will take you the rest of the way. A bonus positive was the staff member during check in was extremely friendly and helpful giving us tips and directions for both universal and some local food spots within walking range. We made full use of his food suggestions and were not disappointed! Lastly while rooms themselves left plenty to be desired they were clean.

While I was not expecting luxury by any means and the site met all my requirements laid out in the positive part of my review the room was VERY small. Literally felt like a bedroom from a small apartment. But not a huge deal as we weren't going to be spending any time in the room aside from sleep. Besides that our only complaints were that there are no "do not disturb" placards to put on the door. Personally I do not like housekeeping entering my room during my stay at a hotel unless I request it. Secondly the bath towels were awkwardly small. Like all sized for a 10 year old. It was weird. All in all though these were minor issues compared to the benefits of the private parking and proximity to good food and universal studios for the price.

the staff were amazing! they allowed us to store our luggage before we checked in that way we could go around Hollywood. our tv remote was missing and they got a new one set up for us. the staff is super accommodating and nice. also super close to food places and within walking distance to universal studios.

honestly nothing, there is a few little things they need to update in rooms just to keep up maintenance. but they are amazing

The location was older, but the rooms were adequately nice. The wifi worked great. The staff were VERY nice and professional.

The area of the hotel was atrocious. Garbage strewn everywhere, homeless people sleeping in the middle of the sidewalk and screaming at passerbys. Graffiti on every surface and broken glass. That being said, the hotel property was fenced and the actual property was clean and tidy, but the neighborhood felt extremely unsafe.

Lovely welcome, very courteous treatment! It was great, that we were allowed to leave our car in the hotel parking lot after checking out - so we could walk to Universal Studios. When we came back late in the afternoon we were even offered a coffee! Simply a very good attitude from the operators - people will want to return!

The size of the room was OK for 5 people, although a tight squeeze, especially with luggage.

Love the location, it being so close to Universal studios and plenty of near by food establishments that are in walking distance and are very good. Like the breakfast but the lobby gets cramped if more than 4 people are there to get food.

The parking situation is tight, not a lot of space. To get a parking spot you have to at least get there early to get a spot. For a place that accepts huge families in one reservation, I believe a room with one bathroom is a bit too much to share for 5 or more people. Maybe offer a room with 2 bathrooms if the reservation has more than 5 people staying. More mirrors would be helpful for bigger rooms.

The management was very thorough prior to our trip and helped to iron out some kinks with my credit card processing. My kids enjoyed the breakfast each morning. It’s obviously not a large hotel, but is managed quite well, and I loved being only a few steps away from my car. The neighborhood is not the greatest, (but you can’t beat the proximity to the park for the price) and I was encouraged to see that the night manager was very dutiful about securing the parking lot each night. The rooms are not luxurious, but quite clean and a comfortable fit for our family of 6.

The beds were a little firm for my liking.

The location was excellent for universal studios. Easy walk to the shuttle. The room was good value for money, the staff were friendly and helpful and simple but adequate breakfast of waffles, toast, cereal

Pillows were a bit lumpy
