Quality Inn & Suites Matteson near I-57

The location was great, right at the interstate, shops and restaurants near by. A pet friendly facility, there was green space available outside for me to walk my dog, and I liked being separated from other vacationationers because I had my dog with me. When I brought to the attention of the front desk staff that someone had spilled something sticky all over the elevator floor, they attended to it right away.

At 2:00 in the morning, someone had some food that smelled really bad and the smell came into my room, it was very offensive and sickening. Had me thinking my dog had did something in the room, but he didn't, the smell was in the hallway too.

Proximity to my activities

I paid for my stay in advance. They added 90 cents charge to my credit card AFTER I’d stayed there with no explanation. I called and they set the phone on the counter until I hung up. I realize this is a small amount, but is this how they make profits? Randomly adding charges to a credit card?

The 150 only cash accepted deposit that you must put down on the room. Regardless of the reservation. They give it back if theyt pass the room at check out

The location and cost of the hotel was great. The rooms are a little dated but they’re clean and have all the amenities advertised.

The rooms are dated and dark (need more lighting). The cable went out during our stay around midnight and never came back on before we checked out.

Check in was simple and easy-to-use ams convenient. using booking.com I had no issues and all the demands were met. Check in was available and ready by 3pm.

They only cleaned the room once on a 13 night stay. Even with me asking the front desk. Odd since they cleaned the bathroom every day

Every thing went as expected

I didn't look like the fact that the mattress had stains over half of the mattress, it should be steamed clean wit those stains and germs, other than that, every thing was okay.

The property was well lit and clean. However the name of the hotel was missing from the building

There were no automatic doors at the entrance to the hotel. It was very difficult to open the door and manage my bags all at once. Also there was no signage on my floor to indicate where the ice machine was located (2nd fl).
