Peppers Waymouth Hotel

The team were great and looked after us well, we were always greeted by a friendly face. We came for our anniversary and the team thoughtfully set out some champagne for when we arrived! It made the stay extra special. There were sufficient facilities in the hotel such as a restaurant, gym and pool. The gym had a good set of weights and quite a few cardio machines, as far as hotel gyms go it was slightly above average. The pool was a bit hot, but long enough to swim some laps. The room was also spacious and quiet. Lots of storage space - two drawers and two hanging racks. I appreciated the extra chairs to relax in during down time. The tea and coffee facilities were clean and well stocked, which was certainly appreciated! The hotel was located very well. Only 2 blocks from the market and main square (tour pick-up location) and only a few from Rundle Mall and the museums. It was far enough from the bustle in the quiet location, but close enough that it wasn't difficult to get there on foot quickly. It's also close to the tram, if needed.

Water pressure could be improved and the shower leaked everywhere no matter where the jet was directed.

I initially stayed in a king room for a 5 day stay. The room was excellent with all amenities I would expect in a 5 star hotel. It was convenient to stores, the Central Market, China town, Botanic Gardens, etc. I traveled by cab. I ate breakfast at the hotel almost every morning. The food was very good but I think it needs an upgrade offering more dishes and choices. It is too "standard" in my estimation. More bakery goods should be on order and other hot foods for breakfast. I had dinner two nights at the Italian restaurant on site. I enjoyed the meals which were well prepared. Again, there could be more varied choices in the menu. However, the meals I had were quite good. The staff, whether in the restaurant, at the front desk, or the cleaning staff, were very professional and friendly. A really great crew! I would make a change to the TV viewing as I would have preferred more cable channels. I didn't see any and it wasn't easy changing channels. My flight was cancelled at the last minute so I had to re-book at the last minute for one more night. There were no issues and the staff were very helpful even though it was a Saturday booking. Other than that, I had a lovely stay at the hotel and highly recommend it.

More of a varied dinner menu. More options for breakfast. Cable should be added to the TV.

Excellent facilities. The indoor pool & spa in winter was great to be able to use, love the size of the pool and being 1.1m end to end, great for kids! Having a suite with a seperate living space was great with a toddler, as we could still watch tv / talk after he went to bed early. The room was well appointed, comfortable bed and had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. Buffet breakfast in the morning was great & the host was very warm and accommodating.

Really minor stuff, but some oversights in the housekeeping. The hairdryer in the room was making a very strange sound and was clearly about to die, didn’t feel safe using it. One of the milk cartons in the mini fridge was already open (seal was broken). There was also a safety pin left in the middle of the floor. The chromecast option to stream from apps was very finicky. Worked on my husbands phone, but not mine. Would have expected Smart TVs and the ability to access apps like Netflix / You Tube / etc direct from the TV, as the movie options / costs were extremely expensive.

The facilities were great and super clean! The lobby smells incredible, not sure what magic they use but every time I walked in I was like holy moly it smells so good. I thought the gym, pool, spa and sauna were amazing, the temperatures were perfect and was the perfect place for a getaway in Adelaide. The buffet breakfast was good quality, not super big but definitely worth having breakfast included in your stay and the food quality was great. We also got room service from the restaurant and it was 10/10. “The best tiramisu I’ve ever eaten”- my girlfriend. Staff were more than willing to help whenever we needed, could not recommend more!

No complimentary bottled water, and no bathrobe and slippers in the room, we paid $6 to get them delivered. But that’s just me being picky. We loved our stay ☺️

Having stayed at Peppers on Waymouth several times now I am pleased to say that this hotel would have to be one of the nicest, well managed, cleanest, friendliest, and well positioned hotels that the city of churches has to offer. From the ease of parking upon arrival, to entering the opulent reception area one has the feeling of entering a world of extravagants. The front desk staff are always smiling, they also have incredible memories because as you walk up to the desk they greet you by name and welcome you back with such sincerity that you do feel absolutely welcomed. Once you get your suite card and enter the lift you know you are in a luxury hotel. From there, depending on which suite you have chosen (I prefer the Bentham Suite) your life is blessed, make the most of it, enjoy yourself and surround yourself with everything that is good. Ok, one thing that annoyed me was the leaking air conditioning vent above the make up mirror alongside the wardrobe. I complained about this twelve months ago and it still hasn't been fixed. I wanted to ask for a discounted rate when I departed but didn't as I truly was expecting them to offer me that. They didn't. Don't let this deter you from deciding to choose this fabulous hotel for your luxury destination. Respectfully, Michael Szabo

The room looked great, nice bathroom and bath, comfy bed. The free shampoo and conditioner were great. Excellent convenient location in city centre, handy valet parking. The service was generally good, especially by the lady I dealt with at checkout who helped me with my bags (can't remember her name unfortunately!). It's pricey but nice, I intend to stay again.

I thought it was a bit poor that there was no Netflix connectivity or the like (smart TV), given this is an upmarket hotel. Slippers and a robe would make a nice touch as well, in line with some other similar hotels. Also, the free Nespressos tasted funny...like perhaps they'd been sitting there too long.

The room was clean and comfortable, location was nice and central and the breakfast was sufficient. The shower was nice and hot. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet.

A few days before we had stayed at another hotel nearby for almost half the price but the room had an amazing view. Everything else was on par with this hotel. With the Peppers Waymouth Hotel, the toilet and shower in the room was a little confronting for one of us who needs their privacy. If I were to go back to Adelaide I would go back to the other hotel only because it was a lot cheaper and had great views!

I liked our room very much and the bath was very nice and loved how it was spacious and the balcony was decent And the food was absolute gorgeous!

I didn't like how there was no complimentary food or drinks, not even any snacks like biscuits or anything but that isn't too bad but I was expecting our room to be completely fresh and new and clean but it seemed well looked as if someone didn't clean the floors properly or move the furniture where needed to be cause as soon as I put my legs out and reclined I noticed people's rubbish on the floor from previously and things were just of place and bench too table wasn't cleaned off from previous use, also in our room stay description it said we would receive a bath robe each we didn't get one at all and no extra towels.

Our family stayed for a night of relaxation (sauna, spa, pool and gym). The hotel met our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed using the facilities. The rooms were large and perfect to fit a family of 4, The bathrooms, including shampoo/lotions were divine. The hotel is close to the market, which offers lots of great culinary delights and good wine stores. The staff were great. It seemed the choice for local stay-cations, which is a credit to the hotel.

The parking was challenging. We had a camper trailer in tow and the parking area felt very exposed. It was a couple of blocks away, next to the bus station, and a walk with bags. The parking was well priced ($30) and the trailer was fine but we did stress overnight. I had rung to check and was told parking for large vehicles was available behind the hotel, so I was surprised at the different arrangement.

Room was lovely and the bathroom was beautiful. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Requested a late checkout and staff were very accommodating. Location was okay and it was easy to walk to most places or tram stop was just down the road.

Room backed onto the elevator so was a little noisy at times. There was also a vibration in the aircon unit which meant every time the fan was any higher than low it would rattle. Not a big deal but a little annoying if you’re a light sleeper.
