Super 8 by Wyndham Edmonton/West

Very friendly, clean, quick to assist in changing rooms at last moment upon arrival with discovery that remote for TV was not right remote. My granddaughters first visit staying in a hotel, she's 4 y.o. She absolutely loved her experience and trip to Gakaxyland with grandma. She won over staff with her innocence and confidence and they were so good with her. I'd absolutely stay in this establishment again. Free breakfast gave so many more options than others. Very family friendly, excellent parking, all around top notch stay!

I loved everything. It could use a pool or full restaurant but otherwise top notch.

the hotel is close to west Edmonton mall, and maybe 15 mins to downtown, plenty of parking space and a free continental breakfast for your convenience

the communication between the front desk staff to the housekeepers, we arrived and were given a keycard and while we entered our room it was not clean/ready. so we had to wait a while to enter our room, but also many thanks to the housekeeping staff for doing a amazing job for a quick turnover

Loved the room and the cleanliness of the entire facility. Check in was very easy and friendly. Breakfast was limited but very good, some more hot items would be greatly appreciated. Location was great for getting to appointments and for west Edmonton mall.

breakfast was a bit lacking but I'm sure a few more hot items would be great. still had problems hooking up devices to wifi such as chromecast and a nintendo switch. wifi signal strong but connecting can be an issue for anything but laptops and phones.

.I loved the value for the cost. The staff was exceptional and so friendly. The sports pub was a great place to watch hockey play offs and comfortable seating between the couches or tables. Vlts were fun and our experience with servers Betty and Tina were amazing. Betty made our experience a great one and offered to have our Dennys brought in so we could enjoy our game day . The room was comfortable and the bath was extra deep so relaxing

There was only one thing that needed attention and that was the carpet had foot oder right by the door. Room 105 needs a steam clean.

The hotel is in a good location, easy access to major highways, gas stations, restaurants and it is short driving distance from West Edmonton Mall. All staff were helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking spaces and the hotel lobby looked very clean and organized.

We had two connected rooms. one of the rooms’ bathroom was not cleaned and the heater was not working. There was also a table lamp that was not working. All of these issues were promptly resolved after we talked to the front desk. Overall, we found the hotel staff were quick and efficient responding to our requests.

Convenient location for our purpose. Breakfast was a bonus! Friendly & helpful staff.

Inside & outside appears a little run down. Building could use a facelift- fresh coat of paint would do wonders. There’s a stickiness to some surfaces, like door handles, railings in corridors, tables/chairs in dining area, carpet in our room, just gives the impression of not being clean.

I don't know the reason for some negative reviews against this hotel. The hotel surpassed my expectations. Room is clean, and better than some of the expensive hotels, customer service is good as well. The overall experience is excellent, and great value for the price.

The lobby is not attractive and very small?, TV in my room is about 30 inch which is too small for hotel.

Bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Very quiet. There was a luggage cart available which was very important to me. I am travelling with a lot of luggage on this trip. The air conditioner was available and working. Also important to me. Breakfast was excellent.

The Ice machine was out of order and judging by the undisturbed dust on the machine it has been broken for some time. Not a big deal but it's the little things that give the impression.

The area that the hotel was in was a lower economic area but we felt safe. a little difficult to get into at first but once you figure it out it was fine. The beds were very comfortable.

Nothing really except I didn’t like the sink being out side the bathroom. Also the breakfast was not very good. bread and Danish were dried out and stale. bagels were fine.

I was in the first room on the first floor and I brought 2 friends one of which slept on a cot and the staff was happy to supply the bedding. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a bonus and the lowest rates on the west end.

The bed sheets were a little thin and there was no meats for breakfast.
