Best Western Premier Hotel Aristocrate

STAFF WORKING WHEN WE CHECKED WERE VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE. THEY SUPPLIED US WITH THE INFORMATION WE REQUESTED AND TELEPHONE NUMBERS FOR RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS. OUR ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND CLEANING STAFF ENSURED W HAD THE ITEMS WE REQUESTED.

WEEKEND STAFF WORKING THE FRONT DESK WERE NOT VERY HELPFUL AND MADE US FEEL LIKE WE WERE DISTURBING THEM BY ASKING FOR INFORMATION AND BEING TOLD THEY DIDNT KNOW . THERREFORE WE SPENT ALOT OF TIME DRIVING AROUND. OUR BEST SOURCE FOR INFORMATION DURING OUR STAY CAME FROM THE PERSON WHO CHECKED US IN AND STRANGERS WE ASKED ON THE STREET.

The room was comfortably appointed, bed was very nice as was the selection of pillows. Loved having the shampoo/conditioner/shower gel right in the shower. The location is excellent, close to lots of restaurants and an amazing patisserie just down the road, as it the aquarium. The restaurant was really nice, pricey, but excellent selection of food and drinks. It's nice to have one on site for when you don't want to venture out or want to have a couple of drinks. It was quite busy as well, which says a lot about the quality of the food.

The hall carpeting was very old, but clean. Also, the noise from rooms around you was a bit much at times. There seemed to be almost no thought given to muting sounds between rooms when it was designed. But unless they're planning to renovate, there isn't much they can do to help with that. It's also hard to report because no one was going out of their way to make noise at all, there's just nothing between rooms to help with that it seems. I used YouTube to stream rain sounds to help mute it. But I'm sure that probably bothered my neighbors...

The hotel is very clean. The staff is great, everyone knows their work - front desk are friendly and effective (we spent 1.5 minutes at the check in, that is so important with kids), room was ready at time, room service was wonderful. The hotel is well designed and comfortable, enough parking and the location is great - you can easily get anywhere you need. But the best part of a this hotel is a restaurant! It was extraordinary experience - the food is absolutely the best! Better than most of the restaurants in the city. And wonderful staff. Highly recommend to reserve meals there!

Small rooms Tiny bathroom No soundproofing at all

Our room was very nice. We had a refrigerator and there was a microwave downstairs. We did not have maid service for our 3 night stay. This was our choice. There are not many TV channels but we made it work. The outside only pool was very nice and there is a life guard. You don't see that very often. Also a bedside clock which we are finding you don't see to much anymore.

The dinner restaurant is very expensive and I don't think you would wear shorts. There is not much around the area so if you are there like us with no car your kinda up the creek without a paddle for food.

I found a clean bedroom. A comfortable bed. A nice bathroom. A very exclusive restaurant with dishes that were very tasty. The location was perfect. It was very close to the place I was going to work on the next day. I could walk to my place of work.

The room felt very small. Because it had very big bed and very big furniture. I like more spacious places. I didn't have a desk to work. So, next time I have to book in a place that has a desk for me to work.

Room was a bit tight but clean and cozy. Staff was helpful. Only there one night so did not explore the property to the fullest nor did we get the benefit of the bus pass, but a great idea. Pool looked nice and well kept.

I think a kettle in every room is a must along with a coffee machine! Really not there long enough to notice much more than the cleanliness of the room and registration area. Breakfast times are not convenient. A lot of travelers get going before 8am so I suggest a 7 am breakfast time. It was not included in our room rate, but we would have considered it, if it had been available at 7am.

It was a standard Good Hotel Room, Quiet and clean. In fact the bed was too comfy and soft. The room had all modern facilities and could use the common facility for snacks, drinks and a micro wave. Ismail at the front Desk was extremely courteous and helpful....staff like him make your Day.

The Restaurant was closed for dinner on Monday and Tuesday... if this was informed earlier we could have planned reservations earlier. Ismail ( Front Desk) helped me with Restaurant lists and Take away Places - extremely handy.

Breakfast was excellent. Location was convenient for easy access to Old Quebec without paying premium Old Quebec prices. Would stay here again.

Housekeeping policy of not cleaning rooms for 3 nights. Guests can request a “room tidy” (garbage emptied )after 2 nights but full room cleaning should be an option as well upon request.

The sound proofing was exceptional. Even with my room facing one of the major inter provincial highways with the patio door closed it was hardly noticeable. With it being a functionally French speaking province I had no trouble communicating and the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. It was also near to one bus route to the major attarations of the area. I would definitely return

It could have been closer to the city centre

Location was good as close to highway. Fairly close to downtown and Videotron Place as we were in town for Shania concert. Lots of road construction which is not your issue Staff were excellent with check in and enquiries. Very friendly, knowledgeable Free coffee was a bonus that I enjoyed often!

Did not notice anything
