DoubleTree by Hilton Quebec Resort

The location is nice if you have a car it is for sure great. If you do not have a car, it is pretty difficult because it is to far away. Nevertheless if you have a car you have a great location away from the crowd and right on the highway. You can walk a little bit and take a bus to the city too, which if you are able to do is also wonderful. Take bus 801 and it will bring you till the city. The same 801 will take you back to the hotel. An uber can also help but the best is a car. Booking.com said that there was a shuttle to the city but unfortunately because of no staff, the shuttle is not giving any service for already 6 months.

The cleaning of the rooms are definitely bad. Three times in 10 days we stayed there, we had no toilet paper and no tissue. The cleaning service is just very bad. Pity because it is a great place to stay.

The room was wonderful. It was very spacious, well thought out functionally, and very comfortable. The Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries were appreciated, particularly by my wife and niece. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, greeting us very warmly upon our arrival. The restaurant was top notch, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there. My wife has some dietary restrictions but had plenty of options to choose from at dinner.

Admittedly we were only May, but the outdoor amenities needed a little work, as the sauna was not work nor was one of two hot tubs. Thankfully the largest hot tub was working fine, but given these facilities are specifically identified by the hotel, I thought I had to mention it.

The Staff/Welcome. Francis at Reception, on Saturday, was very welcoming and helpful. Always positive as was his replacement on Sunday (not sure if her name was Alex?)… as was the Janitor near the pool and the Chef. We felt welcomed at arrival and when asking for assistance. The suite was so clean and inviting.

Would have liked a walking trail around the golf course. If walking around a golf course is really a threat, it would be because players do not know how to aim. If wild golf balls are a threat to those on the perimeter, they would not have located beside a highway. We should encourage morning and evening walks. More physically fit people are, we would have less angry and sick people in the world. The golf care taker was polite in asking us not to continue walking on the paved trail of the golf course.

View to Golf course nice and green. Nice quiet suite, all easy going and really relaxing. Good breakfast. Wonderful comfy beds (even sofabed). House-keeping only on demand, sustainable approach. Nice little details like warm welcome cookie 😊

Highway next to Hotel can be heard when windows open. Staff were stressed Sunday breakfast, seemed too less people (other days fine). No real pool, only small hot water bath.

Welcomed with a cookie, which was completely un expected and lovely. We found the room to be very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The spa outdoors was lovely to experience; all in all it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay!

The outdoor spa could have been cleaner; the hot tub and nordic spa had a fair amount of debris at the bottom which suggested it's been some time since they've been thoroughly cleaned. We also found the staff to be a little standoffish. The front desk staff were lovely and very helpful, but it seemed when we said hello to any other staff member we were ignored.

The outdoor spa area was disappointing. The warm pool and the cold water tub were both quite dirty, one completely unusable as it was filled with so much leaves and stuff at the bottom. The warm pool was used but not as clean as it could have been. Phone In the room had shortcut buttons that didn’t work for room service. The coffee cups in the room didn’t fit the machine. The fruit with breakfast was not worth the price.

Most things were pretty good. I will absolutely the comfy bed and linen + shower booth and hot water. The room was maintained very well, very clean.

Not so much critical, but perhaps the fridge was small and the washroom was a bit small for 2 people to use together? One thing should be the microwave that is not in the room, but is in the lobby to share.

breakfast staff was rude , we didn’t book for breakfast but when we went down to the breakfast hall she wasn’t shy in reminding us that it wasn’t included , we were embarrassed as there was other people in the room that probably heard her so we said to her put it on our bill . My husband was very annoyed.Also when we were choosing our breakfast she watched our every move looking to see hair many times we went to the buffet . Not happy with the service to be honest .

The room was spacious and comfortable. The in-room gym is well equipped. Generally, the hotel was quiet, but I expect it may be different during summer. The restaurant was pretty good and the prices were mostly reasonable. There are some other restaurant options a 10-minute drive away. We especially likes Lao Paradise. The location is convenient for someone that goes there with a car and intends to spend most of their time on the resort.

The bed was too soft. The nighttime lighting outside was very bright. We normally like to sleep with the curtains open to get awakened by the sun in the morning, but that was totally impossible. A front desk attendant confirmed to me on the phone that all spa facilities were available despite covid, but it turns out the sauna was closed.

Neat and pretty modern hotel only a few miles from the beautiful old Quebec city, and situated on a golf course. Welcoming and helpful bilingual staff, eager to offer great warm cookies anytime if you ask for them at the front desk. The Dijon restaurant on-site is also very nice with friendly accommodating staff. Easy and ample free parking.

Nothing at all. Turned out to be a great option for the family and with our picky tastes.
