Pudak Sari Unizou Hostel

The hostel has a nice atmosphere, it’s family run - they are really welcoming, friendly and helpful. I had a comfortable sleep and a relaxed stay.

It would be nice if there was a water dispenser to fill water bottles instead of having to buy plastic ones - I myself wouldn’t mind paying for such a service to reduce plastic waste. I have seen other hostels do this.

Our room was super clean and spacious. The Staff gave us great informations how to safe up money while we travel through Bali and was always friendly. They helped us to book scooters for the best price. We drank together in the evenings and learned a lot about balinese culture. They even showed us their own tempel. I had the best banana pancakes for breakfast.

That we only booked 3 nights but we will definetly come back after our roundtrip.

Everything, simply! Close to airport Extremely nice staff Great house, beautiful interior Delicious food Motorbike rentals very cheap and fast delivery! Good atmosphere in general among guests! Hosts offer free family dinner once a week!!! Must have Clean pool Beds very comfortable!

Mosquitoes, make sure you have repellent Or light citronella incense The kitchen has neither stove nor microwave but the hosts offer a very delicious menu with a variety of the finest local cuisine. I was allowed to use the kitchen anyways in case i craved certain foods. The staff provided me with anything i needed!

The place was very clean, hostel beds were bigger than usual hostels. They have their own restaurant as well. The location is excellent and all other restaurants are at walking distance. The staff is really friendly and makes you comfortable.

They will email you about airport pickup for 150k Indonesian rupees but when you download Grab taxi app and travel to hostel it only costs 21k. They are ripping off you 7.5 times lol. Just be mindful and use Grab taxi app for airport transfers. Since it is nearby airport people just come as a stopover for one night and hence environment there is quite dead.

I loved everything about this place!!! The stuff is incredible nice and welcoming. They literally do everything for you!!! The room is very specious with plenty of space for the luggage. The bathroom includes multiple toilets and baths per room. The common area downstairs is nice and clean. The pool is perfect for a relax afternoon. The food they offer is super cheap and very delicious. I kept coming back to this place through the whole month that I stayed in Bali. I just loved it! If I ever come back to Bali, I would definitely stay with Pudak Sari again! Thank you Via and Asri, you made my stay feel like I was home! Hope to see you again girls :)

✅ Great for a short stay whilst exploring Kuta, or before/after flying into Denpasar. It was around a 20-25 minute drive from the airport in a taxi, and the hostel organised transport for me, which was so helpful. ✅ The beds were clean and really large, especially for a dorm ✅ The beds were private with curtains, and had a little ledge for your phone/watch at night ✅ Communal area was beautiful with a big table, chill out sofas and a kitchen. You can buy soft drinks for fair prices. ✅ Pool looked lovely (but it wasn't very big and nobody was using it as it was very close to the building making it feel a bit awkward)

❌ There was no obvious way to control the AC and it was really hot in the room. Especially on a top bunk. If you stay, I recommend requesting a bottom bunk! ❌ This was not an issue for me, but it was not a social hostel. I like a calm place to stay, but if you're looking for night life/socialising, this won't be the hostel for you. ❌ The area was not the safest at night. As a solo female, I didn't feel particularly comfortable walking to the shop around the corner. ❌ The key I was given didn't work in the locker, so I slept with my bag just out in the room. It was completely safe, nobody touched it, but some people may not feel comfortable with this

I loved everything of my stay in this hostel. It is probably the best hostel I have been in my life. It's very clean and it looks more an expensive hotel for the features of rooms, swimming pool and communal area. The staff is super friendly and available The rooms are amazing! There are maybe 8 beds in each dormitory, every bed is huge, very comfortable and with thick tends to give you the privacy. Each dormitory has three toilet and three shower which make almost impossible for you to have to wait for one of them to be free. And they are always clean! The staff clean rooms and bathrooms twice a day. Every Saturday they organise a free family dinner which is an amazing opportunity to socialise and the food is great! The position is very good! Close to the main street but not so close to be bothered by the drunk night life. Airport is 5 minutes with the motorbike or 30 minutes walking. Last but not least, they allowed me to store for free my luggage for days while visiting different places. I loved so much my stay here that I decided to book further nights.

It is convenient location (close to the airport), and next to the motorbike rental, so exactly where I needed to be. -big bunk beds with curtains and plugs, - comfortable bed, - enough showers with hot water running, - girls at the reception when checking in were nice, - not very nice area of Kuta but hostel itself was nice (like a small oasis).

- check out staff was not helpful (the guy just woke up and was unhappy because I asked him for some boiled water and he would rather go back to sleep than give it to me)—-kettle was right behind him… - not really sociable place, everyone minding themselves.

Got late to the hostel because i arrived late at the airport, late check-in was no problem. Very friendly staff

The bathroom is getting old. Not 100% clean.

I stayed in then 8bed female dorm for 2 nights while getting ready for my flight out of Bali. Being close to the airport (<10 ?min by car wirh traffic) was ideal for me. The beds are big and comfy, underbed storage fitting a 35l backpack is provided as well as a small locker for valuables close to reception. Even with all the luggage everyone had, we were able to find space to keep it in the room but out of the way. The bathroom came with an open area with 2 sinks and clean shelves, 3 toilet rooms and 3 big shower rooms, all clean and well maintained. You can use the pool outside with 3 sunbeds (could be more) and a comfy lounge area indoors. The staff is super friendly and tries to help with everything.

The kitchen was out of order. However you could order food from the neighboring Warung at a really fair price via reception.
