Fourteen Roses Boutique Hotel, Kuta

The pools and gardens were lovely. The room was large and good value for money. The spa was great I had a lovely massage and reflexology.

The bed mattress was uncomfortable I could feel the springs. Being given a small glass with 3 grapes in it as a welcome fruit platter. Found this insulting. Rather not have received anything. Not enough cups put out for the complimentary tea and coffee at 2pm. Not enough pool towels.

The 2 swimming pool are great, there is a lovely garden and a nice reception. The breakfast is a Swedish buffet and is good, there are a few options. The room is nice it has close to your head the lights switches.

We stayed in the modern room / building but the furniture is quite old. The water from the bathroom was smelling at sulfur the first minute. The view from the balcony is to a wall.

Great location, beautiful gardens. We had the a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor. 2 adults and 2 children 4 & 2 and there was more than enough room and bathrooms were huge. older style Balinese buildings. The staff were amazing and very kind and caring. The pools were clean and the kids spent a lot of time in them. Room service was great and well priced, made meal times very easy with tired children. I really cannot thank Fourteen roses enough for our stay they really made us feel welcome and comfortable. We are Bali regulars, but this was our first stay at this hotel. I will definitely be back

There was only one thing and that was the mosquitoes, being on the ground floor amongst the gardens there were a lot. We bought plug in mozzie zappers for inside and hardly saw one but outside they were relentless. I would book a room upstairs next time if taking my grandkids.

Room, Grounds and both pools were lovely..and at an affordable price...Staff were very friendly..bed was so comfortable, had the best sleeps ever..Location was perfect..could be a little noisy at night due to music at adjacent properties..but wasnt an issue for me.. Breakfast Buffet had a good selection to choose from

The shower over bath i struggled with. (the body isnt as young as it used to be ).and there was no shower curtain..so the floor was very slippery and wet...The bathroom lighting was poor..not good for ladies that wear makeup lol...No sun umbrellas at the top level pool..there was one upon arriving, however was taken away when it was windy..and not returned..

Room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and well furnished. There are two pools, both kept beautifully clean. Breakfast was adequate, for variety and a change we ate out some days. Loved that there was a lift to the upper floors, we used it when we had shopping, otherwise we used the stairs. The customer service from the staff was excellent, always friendly, polite and attentive.

There really wasn't anything we didn't like, the only thing that could be added is that it would be great if lighting could be put in the stairwells. We like to use the stairs but there is a lift as well, which is great.

A lovely property in the middle of Kuta. The rooms are large and well furnished. Having two pools is a great feature. The GM, Mr Bagus Teja, was very receptive to feedback and sorted out our issues. Breakfast was a big spread with an egg/pancake station. Overall, a beautiful property, attentive staff and conveniently located. We are already planning our next stay.

It would be good to offer alternative coffee to the rather bitter Balinese coffee. The first room we had (301) had a lot of noise from nearby night clubs until the early hours, but Mr Teja and his staff promptly organized a quieter room for us. And please get a faster toaster for the breakfast buffet!

The moment I stepped into the grand lobby, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality by the attentive staff, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their professionalism, coupled with their genuine smiles, set the tone for the entire stay. Throughout my time at the resort, I was consistently impressed by the remarkable level of service provided by the staff, who anticipated my needs and desires even before I expressed them. Amazing staff, amazing food options, exceptionally cleaning every day.

Towels smelled a little weird but apart from that everything was perfect.

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel. It is very nice with 2 pools, which were both great. The downstairs pool was refreshing. There are still renovations going on but mainly at the back of the hotel which now leads on to Benasari. We did have dinner one night at the resturant, which i think is still getting up and running. We had 4 rooms in total. 2 were in the new building. Room 302 was overlooking the top pool. Be very careful as tiles very slippery, and we had a couple of tumbles.

The cocktails were limited to about 6 from the menu, and there were no Spirits available at the bar (top pool). Some staff have limited English. I was disappointed also with the 2 rooms when we arrived, which was due to Booking.com and not the hotel itself. Booking.com need to get updated photos and correct the room types advertised, because what we got was not what we booked according to booking.com. again not the hotels fault. We had also booked 2 rooms through Agoda, which they had no record of, but the hotel were very helpful in getting us all rooms. I would recomend you book directly through the hotel itself so you know exactly what you are getting.

I loved my 9 night stay! The hotel is very well located, Very generous size bedroom, bathroom and great upper pool. The gardens made you feel like living in paradise. The manager Ann was great and all staff were helpfull always smilling. A special thanks to Dickie and Kindi who looked after me with some great cocktails. Breakfast was good, I am back a gain in August 2023 and so looking forward to catching up with all. Oh, if you like great music go to Great O (zero).

That I had to leave after 9 great days

we loved our stay. didn’t like our original room as it had 2 single beds but we were moved to a nicer, bigger room with a double bed no problem! breakfast amazing and lots of choice! staff very friendly and happy to help! room clean and pools and outdoor space was exceptional !

a strange switch of music would occur in late afternoon by the pool when loud pop music would replace calm instrumental tunes. perfect location for Kuta but we just didn’t really like the area and beach but we’re happy to stay in the hotel because it was so nice!
