Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel

Very convenient location. Very close to the busy nightlife area at St. Julians / Paceville, with a lot of restaurants, bars and casinos nearby, for those who enjoy it. At the same time, it is located at a really calm corner next to the sea, far from the annoyances of more central locations, It's also at a few minutes drive from Sliema or Valletta if you want a cruise or a old town visit. There's an hop-on hop-off bus stop next to the hotel, and you can get tickets at the tourist desk in the hotel. Breakfast was very good and varied, with food from all the corners of the Med. Our sea view rooms were large and renovated, with a balcony, a big TV,, A/C and a large confortable bed. A EU energy outlet is available, besides the standard UK style ones.

Nothing major. A larger (laptop sized) safe would be a nice upgrade.

Location, even if Saint Julian is known for parties and be noisy, the hotel was well connected, it’s like at the end of a road after all the pubs, so overall is a quiet place. Also, if you don not have your own car, the bus stop to pick you up for any experience like boat trips, it’s just straight outside the hotel.

I am sure this is something that is good for some people but in our case, we were looking a “swimming pool area” with some activities or music, more interactive place for the afternoons but here the swimming pool is a quite place and in the afternoon there was not sun light straight in the swimming pool, specially after 5pm (sometimes even from 3pm). In exchange, the sun beds were amazing, this is difficult to find in other places, here they look brand new.

The location is good, the bus stops are very close to the hotel. The area is not very picturesque as there are reconstructions all around, as in all Malta. Close to marina and cafes/restaurants. The hotel is big, the breakfast is awesome, the variety of dishes is impressive. The indoor pool is quite big, perfect way to relax after long walks. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. We were very pleased to have an opportunity of an early check in after the early morning flight.

The room did not correspond to the images of the room on Booking. The furniture was old, probably the "economy room" means a room in the old building. But it's not very important as we didn't pay much for our stay and stayed there only to sleep. The main disappointment was the cleanness. The room was dirty, on the carpet there was wall plaster all round the room, in the bath there were hairs. Lack of sockets. Upon the whole we enjoied our stay, the only advise I would like to give to the hotel management please upload the fotos that correspond the rooms and pay more attention to the cleaning.

Excellent service and greetings from all staff. very helpful reception and quick problem-solvers. Great breakfast with so many super delicious foods to choose from. Big facilities and close to everyting i came to visit.

Housekeeping: can you please not cut the bands for the bed, i hate waking up in the trap in the middle of gliding single beds made as a double. And also, duvet sheets go ontop of the duvet. But high five for keeping the place clean! We would save alot of resources if the soap wasnt stolen and replaced by a new one every day, one soap will last a customer a week!

My room over looking air conditioning in court yard so it's was constantly noisy .....all day & night . It irritates me as last time I travelled solo was given a similar room?? House keeping wasn't really up to a great standard,regarding the cleanliness of floor,bed making.., furniture never wiped down. However bathroom exceptionally clean,stocked very well with condiments.,. House keeping staff very pleasant & friendly.. Indoor pool not open? Not advised of this...

Everything was good except the bed is little bit small for two person especially if someone is bigger (like me). The breakfast cost 8.00 EUR per person and you can eat how much you want - different kind of cheese, ham, fruits, bread, jogurts, juices. The hotel is in very nice neighborhood and very quiet. And also near the sea. Hotel has their own parking garage. Trip to Valletta will cost around 8.00 EUR with UBER. To Aquarium around 12.00 EUR, also uber. Bottom line, the hotel and stuff are really great. Thank you. If we visit again Malta, for sure we will stay in same hotel.

The breakfast was above our expectations regarding quality and the variety of choices. The location is near the bus stations and has a few good restaurants within walking distance. The room was quite big and spotless.

The pool access seemed to us very complicated and we didn't see a list of prices and options for additional towels and slippers needed for the pool (information was given to us at the reception but only verbally and was hard to process due to the complexity). It looked like they were trying their best not to grant access to the pool even if was included...

Our room was clean and the bathroom had a tub, which was great. We had a small balcony and a big slide-window, so we could get lots of fresh air and sunlight. I think the TV had some kind of chromecast, but we couldn't figure it out. We didn't ask for help though, because it wasn't that important to us. There was a swimmingpool in the basement, which we really liked! The water was so nice and warm. There was also a fitnesscenter and massage, which we didn't try.

The breakfast buffet was OK, but not great. We didn't like the evening buffet at all.

Very well located, close to the beach, nice restaurants, night life, bus stop to go everywhere nearby. Staff is friendly, room and common areas were clean, inside pool is open in the evening as well (at least in winter time). Great Experience overall!

Breakfast could have a bit more options (different breads/cakes/fruits) and there could be someone 'watching' the pool as some kids were jumping off the jacuzzi railing into the pool (and their parents found it beautiful :/)
