Smart Cancun by Oasis

The hotel completely satisfied all the purposes of my trip. The location is perfect for my needs, tons of food around, bus station is by the corner, taxi is available all the time, nice coffee-shop is inside, and the beautiful spa zone. Biiig thank you to all the receptionists, you are the best! Very professional and beautiful! Thank you to the security team, they worked hard to open the front door for us 24/7 and smiling all the time. Thanks to the mechanic team keeping up the Jacuzzi hot. We had a great time and i definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is very near to small little restaurants and a 10min walk to some great bigger restaurants. There is a Big food shop also 10min away and on a good day 30min to the airport. The Red bus that goes to the beach goes and stops outside the supermarket and costs almost nothing. That goes to the hotel zone and all the beaches/clubs and if you want to go to the Isle of Mujeres. If you want to book a tour, the tour buses also stop right outside Smart hotel. The Mercado 23 and 28 is also a 35min walk away and easy to get too. Very safe area no problem at all and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Make sure you are not staying on the side near the big hotel air con as that is super loud and annoying and that you don't get a damp-smelling room. clean rooms and free water and a refrigerator, and a safe. The cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. The pool area is HUGE, the photos don't actually make it justice and got a lot of places to sunbathe. The hotel food is also delicious. I travel a lot and read these reviews like a hawk and I can honestly say this hotel was really good.

The Hotel Aircon in the hallway was super loud but can't be helped I guess. A tip for the hotel is that daily and hourly cleaning of the pool sitting area could improve, as some of the seats were muddy, had trash around them and the hot tubs were dirty as people had used them.

Room was smart, a good size and comfortable. We had fresh bottled water each day. The breakfast was a buffet and good value for money. The front desk staff were very knowledgeable of the area and helpful. Would stay here again. Excellent location for downtown. Excellent facilities if you wanted to stay at the hotel the whole time

Our bathroom wasn't great. There was hot water thank goodness but the light fitting had some issues and kept turning off. The phone isn't able to make international calls at all

The pool area is beautiful. The decoration is very modern. The breakfast is a buffet, and it is very good. The room has plenty of space. The location is ok if you need to be close to the airport, but you need to get a bus or taxi to go to the beach.

The elevators are slow and very small, for 3 people only. For someone who needs assistance to walk and a wheelchair, it could be a little challenging. We had to take the stairs many times.

great staff, always ready to help with any questions. I really enjoyed the pool and the pool bar, very modern and nice. there are many supermarkets, restaurants and bars around. it was very clean all around the hotel

the only point was the poor water pressure, the water in the shower was poorly regulated. also the hotel is quite far away from the beach and hotel zone, but there’s taxi and busses that can get you there

The staff was really nice especially the guys who are watching the doors. They always helped us when we had a question, they knew the city a little bit better than the receptionists. The housekeepers were really kind. A really nice pool, the prices of the foods and drinks are cheep compare to most of the restaurants. Buses right outside the hotel.

The hotel is downtown and the prettiest beach is 30min bus away, but the bus ticket only cost 12pesos, so it’s really affordable to take the bus every day like us. The wifi was terrible, if you are students like we were with my girlfriend, I do not recommend this hotel because the wifi was not good at all. The rest is good but the wifi did not allow me to take my tests and submit my exams.

Very nice, good area, easy checkin and checkout , good facilities, nice for a centre cancun stay

The hotel is located in a central area. Spacious rooms with comfy beds. No comforter was provided but they gave us blankets upon request. The staff were very helpful and kind. Beautiful and relaxing pool area.

We ordered tacos while lounging at the pool, it wasn’t as tasty but was ok for what it was.

the staff was always happy and very helpful gave us bunch of tips to make our trip not that expensive food was ok (same breakfast everyday)

the sheets and blankets smell funny and 2 days didn’t receive toilet paper but everything was ok during my stay that was my only bad situations I face during my stay. Definitely ill stay back again

very nice rooms, very clean and the swimming pool area is awesome

if I were to nit pick, then the only thing is that the coffee in my room wasn’t replaced but I could get cheap coffee from the cafe downstairs anyway and from a shop across the street so it’s not a big deal. other than that minor detail everything else was great
