Bella Vista Motel Palmerston North

I rarely give a 10, but because of the considerate management, this motel deserves nothing less. I was travelling with my mum, who's elderly and doesn't handle stairs well, so when I booked, I left a note requesting a room with separate beds and no stairs. All the twin rooms are apparently on the first floor, so the manager kindly put us in a ground floor suite. It even had a spa! It made for a wonderful stay for both mum and me, and everything about this motel was what we hoped for.

The only problem was that we couldn't work out how to turn off the heater. I ended up having to turn it off with the circuit breaker.

The service at the Bella Vista was amazing. The room was small (as it was only for me for 1 night) but it totally met all my expectations, it was super clean and the bathroom was huge! The water pressure in the shower was so good! The owner was very helpful, friendly and even offered to carry my bags! The location is central Palmerston North (I did get a taxi into town) I was really happy and most impressed - and I also lucked in with a great discounted price.

I honestly found nothing to fault here.

It was an upper room and I like upper rooms. I used to come to Palmerston North several years ago and used to stay at the Bella Vista. So it was a time of reminiscing. It was a wonderful flashback.

There was nothing to not like about. It was a wonder time. It was cooler and there was a light cool breeze. I went for a brief walk and it was simply wonderful. In the past I used to order breakfast but breakfast was not available this time around because of the restrictions brought about by Covid-19 I think.

Was just a one night stay but very comfortable and clean and plenty of parking. Fan was appreciated and quiet to sleep with on.

Can't complain about anything really.

We were very well looked after at Bella Vista. I was traveling with my high needs Mum and they quickly changed the room to be alot more comfortable for us with no fuss, it was just done. They really tried to make our stay an enjoyable one and this was so appreciated. Both members of the BV team were kind and helpful. It was also spotlessly clean :)

A little dated. However very well equipped and very clean

The standard of cleanliness was exceptional. Warm and kind staff. They took care of all our safety re covid , mask wearing and prompted safe conduct when needed which I appreciated. I was able to park my car outside my window so I could keep an eye on my dog in the car. Great location . Nearby off leash areas for my dog. Also lovely and quiet . The unit felt private and restful decor . Reasonable price. Loved the prompts to think of the enviroment. Desk and chair provided which I found useful to work at.

Very clean rooms, beds comfy, great welcome on arrival and very accommodating with us parking a trailer at the motel. This is the second time we have stayed in the last couple of months and would definitely stay again.

Like all Bella Vista locations this motel was very clean and tidy with everything that I needed for an overnight stay.

Nothing that the motel can do but the road noise on a Saturday night from cars racing up and down the main street was annoying, although did tail off later in the night.

Very friendly staff who gave such a warm welcome. The room was small but it was very clean and tidy. Really comfortable bed and fantastic shower. Great location close to the cbd.

Location good, staff helpful, clean and tidy also good laundry facilities. Fair price.,

Lack of space for travellers from overseas with a couple of cases and carry on bags, plus food items to use in the room.
