Comfort Inn Kauri Court

The location of this motel was just what I wanted, close to sports facilities and the Manawatu River. The studio was spacious, comfy and spotless. The kitchen facilities were comprehensive. The bathroom was large with an powerful, hot shower, and I appreciated the wall mounted, refillable toiletries. The bed was large and comfy and there were individual reading lights for the single bed, both sides of the main bed and the seating. The wifi was excellent and there was a bench outside for soaking up the sun.

There was no milk provided on arrival. I would have liked some herbal tea bags and there didn't appear to be any recycling facilities.

really quiet, very clean

The front doors don’t shut properly and need to be slammed. Every time someone came in or out we had to all slam the doors multiple times to get them to shut and be able to lock them. this applied at each unit 14,15,16,17 - unfortunately this was often early morning or late night so it wasn’t ideal for the neighbouring unit. owner also just walked in one morning when we were having coffee …. no real apology - very odd !

Really easy to deal with staff, and prompt answering questions and the room was big and spacious really clean. The beds were super comfortable. We travelled up for our daughters tournament and wished their team stayed here instead of the other motel. Parking was also very convenient.

Nothing really, everything met our expectations.

Great size room and bed! Plenty of space to either hang clothes or put my suitcase, handy little desk where I did my makeup (also love the 'makeup' face cloth in the bathroom, little touches like that are fab). Really large shower and everything was super tidy and clean. This is the second time I've stayed here and I really think this place is such a hidden gem. And eeeeasy walking distance into town and the mall, didn't need to bother with Uber at all. Oh! And it's a stones throw away from BP for a morning coffee (took advantage of that a few times!) and another easy walking distance to the Esplanade for a wander in good weather :)

The only tiny thing that wasn't great was the water ran hot and cold quite a bit in the shower

Great find on our drive north from Wellington. New Zealand is all about first class hospitality and our host at Comfort Inn was no exception. We had a late evening arrival time but she made sure we could access our room easily and settle in for the night.

Kauri Court is situated on the edge of town but still accessible for everything we needed. Top marks for the comfortable bed and every detail required for our overnight stay, even a toaster and rice cooker provided.

Everything suited us, so nothing to dislike.

Our stay was awesome. As young parents of 4 we needed downtime not too far away from our children, the onsite property manager was very welcoming, we were affraid of being judged due to being a younger rough and ruggered couple but to our suprise were met with much respect and treated fairly. We checked in and out smoothly and we absolutely adored our stay. Thank you so much

Nothing it was above expectations

The cleanliness of the room/bathroom/kitchen. The beds were comfy. The service was lovely. It was nice and quiet and really was a lovely break away. Well worth what we paid. Will most likely stay here again

It wasn't so much a dislike. I just had notice that the shower door was off the hinge. Other than that there was nothing wrong.

Our 1 bedroom unit was very spacious and comfortable. lovely and clean and had a great kitchenette with everything you could need. great location to get around with parking. checkin was easy and the hosts are lovely with lots of great advice. would recommend to everyone.

Lovely spacious clean and comfortable room, large bathroom and modern looking decor. Friendly staff and ease of access, good value for money, would easily recommend

Hard to fault but if I was nit picking the only downside was the shower temperature would fluctuate but the water pressure was great.
