Hyatt Place San Juan

The desk staff were extremely helpful. We wanted authentic Puerto Rican food, and the recommended restaurant was perfect. The shuttle to/from Old San Juan was appreciated. We were able to check in early as requested because we arrived from a cruise and had to checkout early because of a middle of the night flight.

The toilet was broken. The water continued to run after flushing. The price was excessive. A one night stay (actually 10 hours) shouldn’t cost over $350. Although we appreciated the shuttle, we had to rush through dinner because the last pickup from Old San Juan was 6:00 pm.

I think the overall price is a bit high. Compared to rates in the states it was extremely high for the same level of comfort/amenities. I booked this to ensure I could hold luggage on my final day in San Juan, but I wish it could have been less expensive.

Free breakfast was great - good selection of food options! Hotel staff were very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Hotel also provided free shuttle service to Old San Juan, which was a nice surprise.

The desk staff met our needs courteously and efficiently. Breakfast variety was fairly good. We were able to get a late check out because we didn’t check in until 1 am. We were also able to grab a shuttle to the cruise port which was an unexpected surprise.

There was no where to get hot food. Even though the hotel is highly rated, prices are too high for a single night. Close to $500.00 a night is overpriced when the same room was a little more than half that a year ago.

The staff was really nice and welcoming. The property was clean, the rooms were nice and beds were comfortable!

Since the environment is very humid so were the rooms. It was too cold in the rooms but when we turned the AC off the floor got really wet. Not much the hotel can do because that’s just how the climate is. Also the breakfast at the buffet could be better.

We checked out before breakfast. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The lobby was spacious and comfortable.

The floor in our room was very dirty and needed to be mopped. Our HVAC unit was very noisy so we had to turn it off. The gorgeous LED's that lit up the outside of the building were directly outside of our window and could not be blocked out.

Great location, close to everything. My daughter loved the pool and the slide. Good breakfast, cheaper parking than other hotels.

More of the suggestion. Should change having to validate parking ticket each time you leave. Would be nice to have body lotion in the room as well, had only shampoo and conditioner. As we had no space for much toiletries in the bags I didnt bring mine thinking hotels usually have them.

I like that it was in the middle of everything and uber wasn't expensive from the location to get around plus they had a shuttle that takes you to el combron Beach and old San juan for free

There was a manager that was very rude I ordered food from the bar when I came down to get my food I seen the lady go get my food it was out in the open with numerous guest standing and talking all over my food I then asked the staff that gave me my food why is my food out in the open and not behind the counter I asked for a manager which I was told she will be with me in a moment 25 mins later a female walked up behind the bar looked at me and my kids and walked off now 20 Additional minutes the same person came back and asked can I help you my wife then said to her you just walked out here 20 mins ago and then left us standing here you could have acknowledged us and said hold on instead of seeing what the issue was the manager just thru the money on the counter and walked off

the property was in a great location close to everything it was very clean and all the staff was super helpful and friendly

the parking I thought it was a bit expensive

The hotel staff were amazing! Very Accommodating! The location was perfect, and the hotel itself was fabulous!
