Hotel El Churra

Hotel located close to tram and walkable to main bus station but not railway station. 20 minute walk to The Cathedral and Old Town. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. Hotel very clean, staff courteous. Good breakfast.

Couldn't find fault with the hotel, which had a lovely cafe bar and excellent restaurant. Only problem with Murcia is that everything is in Spanish (obviously) which meant that the museums, restaurants etc had no English translations, so we were unable to fully enjoy the city's attractions.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great . Quiet and near some nice bars and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is very good. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. Found restaurant and bar a couple streets away and had a fabulous meal . the waiter didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Spaniish but but we had a great meal.

We have stayed here 5 times. We love the location, it's so handy for everything, within a short walk. The staff are excellent and informed. The breakfast is good as is the bar and snacks. We always include the parking. Love it here.

The only negative is that due to being a city centre hotel it can be noisy early mornings with people going about their daily routines.

Bedside light didn´t work properly (kept flickering) and no controls for the air con - despite it being neqarly 30 degrees during the day. TBF the reception staff were willing to turn on/control the air con for each room centrally which helped....just meant we could turn it up or down as required

Quiet room. Very good spacious bathroom. Excellent selection at breakfast. Great garage facility. certainly value for money. bed a little too hard for me but I am sure ok for others. Didn't stop me sleeping. Would recommend to friends.

Lift very small. Humming noise from somewhere outside the bedroom which came and went. Only annoying if tv not on and was off at night.

The bed was too soft for us, but that's just personal preference Only other thing was they could add body lotion to their bathroom condiments

Ideal location for city centre, unfortunately the Christmas market was on but the lights and trees which we wanted to visit had been moved out of town, presumably due to Covid ? Nice room and pleasant staff, would call again. Bonus for us was zero charge to bring our pet dog, some hotels charge 20/25€ a day for the privilege.

Room was double glazed but we did hear a lot of noise from the streets throughout the night.

The hotel was very central for our visit, which was to watch a Rod Stewart concert at the bullring about 1km away.

When we arrived, the road to the hotel was blocked off, so we had to ring the hotel so that the barrier could be removed.

The hotel is basically right in the city centre. Just 1 min from the main plaza with all bus and tram stations. Also only 5min Walk to the old town of Murcia. It’s a hotel with everything you need. The room was small but had all’s necessary stuff. Air condition is important in Murcia and it worked perfectly. We received everyday new towels , water and shampoo. Nothing to complain and for the cheap price definitely recommendable!

Nothing to complain, maybe the bathroom a bit too small.

Close to facilities Very friendly staff Cafeteria onsite Air on was great and very quiet

Weirdly the carpet was covered in white bits and looked like it needed a good vacuum Walls bit thin as could hear people chatting at 2am
