Amazing location and great vibe. It is super clean and has a great-sized room with all the facilities you need for a short stay. The bed was super comfy. Loved the products in the room. The pub was a great place to eat. The check-in staff went out of her way to show me the room and how everything worked and gave me some tips and tricks on where to eat and where to swim. Highly recommend.

I didn't realise there were two buildings: 1. a newish building and 2. a pub building, which meant the room I stayed in did not look like the photos, but the room I was in was excellent. I would definitely stay again. I would just ask what room I booked so I got the one I wanted. Highly recommend.

Everything! The staff are so friendly, helpful & cheerful. Location is perfect. The rooms have been renovated beautifully - really amazing attention to detail & style. The beds are really comfortable. We stayed in a ground floor motel room the first night & the staff were super- accommodating in upgrading us to a a stunning ocean-view hotel room the following night for no extra charge. The view was just fabulous. Highly recommended.

I hesitated to even put anything here because this really is a terrific place & they’ve done an awesome job of renovating the rooms & making it really welcoming & comfortable. If you twisted my arm, the only thing might be you can hear/feel the aircon in the next hotel room vibrating through the wall.

Lovely place. Great location and nice staff. Trendy little motel. My only issue was that Booking.com is confusing as I booked the beach hotel cased on the first couple of photos, but got the motel room in the side building, which was renovated in good style and well stocked. But if you want to stay in a beach/Hampton style room rather then an chic industrial style one double check your booking.

Great location right across the road from the beach. Clean and tidy room matching the photos exactly. The bed was the MOST comfortable we have stayed in during our trip - didn't want to get up! The balcony was nice to sit out with a glass of wine, the kitchen area well equipped with continental breakfast provided (nice touch) and the shower room fine. Would recommend. Our room was to the side of the hotel in a separate unit with easy parking.

The AC unit was dripping when we arrived and probably had been for a while as the carpet had started to smell so we put a towel down to absorb the water so this needs fixing. The noise from the bin collectors at 7am could be an issue for some - I was already awake though! They are not quiet and came round twice :)

The location is stunning — you can not only see the sea, inhale the sea spray, be soothed by the sound of the ocean tumbling onto the shore, but be swimming and diving in the waves within seconds of arriving. The room is thoughtfully designed with funky, fun touches. Loved the functional kitchen, the fragrance of the Hunter toiletries, the smart balcony handrails for wet towels and cossies... Fantastic dishes from the Hotel kitchen (perfect, crisp-skinned kingfish with kipfler potatoes and super-in-season zucchini!) and a really impressive, reasonably priced wine list. (Wonderful breakfast and great coffee at nearby Boneless vegetarian restaurant.)

Comfortable, clean, well laid out, good-sized room with a very comfy big bed. Ensuite bathroom was beautiful, large and very clean. Hotel central to town so it was an easy walk to beach, cafes, harbour, supermarket etc Enjoyed our evenings with a pre-dinner drink on the verandah. watching the sunset. Good meals at the hotel restaurant too.

Will book a room with an ocean view next time! We had to leave the air conditioner on overnight as there was very little airflow and quite a bit of noise from from the small, view-less window in our room.

Room had good facilitites fo rlimited self catering. Balcony with sea views attractive.. Not cramped

Twin beds for sellf and adult daughter not available. Twin beds that can be joned as a double seem obvious to meet needs of diversity of travellers and situations. Mainly double beds seem to make assumption that only couples are expcted. As a single person (elderly widow) I would not book at this hotel if traveling with a friend in the same situation. I did not see any family rooms I.E interconnecting rooms for parents and children.

Incredible location right across from the beach. The room was super comfortable- we were in one of the newly renovated rooms from the motel next door. Loved all the finishings and amenities (especially the delicious breakfast and croissants- so thoughtful)! The lady at reception was just lovely- super friendly and helpful. The pub punches above its weight- amazing food and drinks (much better than your average coastal pub)!

I had thought I had booked one of the rooms in the actual hotel, which looked like they had slightly better views of the ocean from the second floor- so just note if booking an ocean view room it might be one of the newly refurbished rooms next door (which are still lovely)! The shower pressure was quite weak in our room- might need some attention!

Beautiful newly renovated rooms with little touches that made our stay all the more comfortable and welcoming. You can really appreciate local businesses supporting each other with not only croissants from down the road, as an in-room brekkie, but even hand and shower soaps sourced from just down the street. Loved the in-room microwave, iron and ironing board, such unexpected amenity!

As someone who is not an early riser but a very light sleeper, keeping in mind the age of the pub and the lightweight walls that come with the charm and character of an older building, there was a little noise in the morning, largely due to other guest moving around in the hallways.

The room was extremely comfortable. We were impressed with the 'small' considerations such as matching furniture, consideration to patrons, comfortable bed & making available delicious croissants for breakfast. Also, the super service by the staff member (which I neglected to ask her name) to walk us through to the room & what facilities are available. The location can not be beaten. Overlooking the bay. Restaurant/pub right next doo. Hard to beat. Fantastic.
