Bega Downs Motor Inn

Perfect location just off from the main street of the town. Friendly staff, clean room, room had a lot of space to move around. Shower was nice and big. Space for a dinner table for two in the room. Parking out front of the room. Laundry room to access and use. Shame the onsite restaurant was closed due to covid that would have been a nice touch. The pool looked nice. Easy process with the check in and check out. Would go back again. Some feedback for the future; the room is bland maybe some colour paint or pictures would be good. A two person lounge would have been tops. There is washing up liquid but no kitchen sink to wash dishes up in and even tho there is a brick wall against the bed we missed having a bedhead as the pillows kept falling off the bed.

This is my parents and my 2nd stay at Bega Downs Motor Inn. The room was extremely clean, large and comfortable. We had a small table inside and a microwave and cutlery and crockery. The room was upgraded which we appreciated particularly as my elderly parents didn’t have to walk up stairs. The owners very friendly and approachable for any needs. The owners have a good knowledge of the area and events going on. To make the stay extra special was the owners left some Easter eggs at everyone’s door on Easter Sunday. A lovely touch especially for children. Activities and sightseeing are nearby. Plenty to do. The motel has a pool as well. shops are a few minutes away.

I have no complaints. I would recommend this motel.

Great location to explore Bega Valley, we stayed in a large room on the first floor. Even though the tap was leaking and the kettle didn't fit under the tap, overall we had a pleasant stay. Carpet could have been cleaned a bit better, there was some rubbish under the beds from former guests. The internet didn't work all the time. But it's a great place if you need a comfortable bed and good shower.

The room is a building built with bricks on outer walls, the room and bathroom are spacious. The room we stayed was ground level, it is easily accessible from car parking and has good space for couple to stay for a vacation trip.

The bathroom is bit older style but the space is a real plus to it. We still have olden style window AC with gives a lot of sound it does not have remote control so it was hard to operate. The modern wall mount AC with remote would have been excellent for the room

Lovely quiet location yet still just a short stroll into town. The room was very spacious with plenty of room for all one’s travel belongings, along with being well-appointed with table & chairs (both inside and out) and also, very importantly, pristinely clean. Best of all was the super comfortable bed in which I slept incredibly well. Will definitely stay here again on next required visit.

Can’t think of a thing, was great all around!

was staying at the property as I was working at the South east regional hospital for 2 weeks. this place was perfect for the two week stay. right in the heart of Bega, off the strip this is a very clean, peaceful and well looked after facility. staff are great and very helpful and will give you a quick run down of what’s hot and what’s not. hospital is a 5 min drive away, beach 15 mins away. rooms are a great size, beds are comfy, bathrooms are clean and living there for 2 weeks making meals the kitchenette was fine for basics. if you’re looking for somewhere to stay for whatever brings you to Bega, this is a strong contender and probably your best bet.

This was great. We stayed in a family room and the room was immaculately clean, tidy and well maintained. Newish owners were enthusiastic and explained all the things to do in Bega. Laundry had new appliances and the internet access was great. I'm not aligned to this place at all but it was way above any other accommodation that we went too on our "Road Trip" holiday and also one of the cheapest.

Nothing important . Just a couple of minor cracks in a tile in the bath room. Being picky. Bega is a good central location and we only wanted a 2 night stay on our way back to Sydney but you have to travel to get beaches etc. If you want a beach experience then a coastal town would be preferable and there are plenty nearby

The location spacious room and serene environment.

Some tiles in the bathroom are broken, and this constitutes health and safety issues. Such room should not be available for stay until they're properly fixed and safe for visitors. The air con is pretty old andnot working properly- the kids were feeling cold all night. This should be upgraded as well.

easy to check in and check out, customer service is amazing, the location is very accessible to shops, well stocked tea coffee and biscuits, plenty of cutlery and plate’s provided

not a major issue but I should have checked if a stove was available in the room because we stayed here for 2 weeks

Bega Downs Motel was very clean and comfortable, the manager was friendly and professional which put me at ease being a solo traveler. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re traveling through Bega.

Everything was great, but I was extremely disappointed to find out later that booking.com was not giving me the cheapest rate! Browsing through the motel website I found I could have gotten the room far, far cheaper if I booked directly with them. Not cool booking.com!
