The Anchorage Bermagui

Beautiful location and close to town. We stayed in the apartment closest to the water which was a beautiful view to wake up to. It’s only a 1 minute walk to the wharf which is great for fishing with children. Apartment was clean, well maintained and newly refurbished. Check in process was easy and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We loved the accomodation but the only negative was the beds were extremely firm. This could be a personal preference but neither my partner or myself had a good night sleep. Lounge is extremely soft and comfortable though.

The apartment was clean, modern and matched the photos and description we'd seen. We were greeted on arrival and made to feel welcome, shown to our room and offered advice for food options and activities. Much closer to town than I thought, an easy flat 12 min stroll to the Warf for fish & chips, gelato, cafe and a spot of fishing. We loved the relaxed vibe and friendliness at The Anchorage and our 7 yr old enjoyed playing with the other kids in the playground each day. Quiet location with room to park your boat.

We really couldn't fault it and wished we could have stayed longer. I would recommend checking ahead to find out what's on in Bermi as there are some major events on the calendar (eg, fishing comps) that may cause high visitation and not suit some guests.

Bermagui is a good location base for day trips both up and down the NSW south coast, with the Anchorage close to the town centre (walking distance) the location is ideal. Normally a message with entry instructions is issued, due to a technical issue this did not occur on this occassion but the keys were in a lock box at the front door and an access code was provided by reception upon our arrival. Bedrooms and bathroom were well stocked and very clean.

This room type had a small kitchen which was problematic to use with dining table and other elements crowded into this small space. Being just on 6' tall the kitchen sink and lounge seating was all quite low, to the extent that one of our party could not use the seating in the living area.

Comfy beds. Parking at door. Modern bathroom and kitchen. Spacious. Great water pressure especially for the shower which was nice and roomy. Smart TV with access to YouTube and Netflix.

We were there in the off season and the complex was super quiet so none of the following points were a problem for us. With more guests in the warmer months the pool and trampoline would probably produce a lot of noise from kids. There are two levels accessed by central external stairs which might also be a noise problem in busy months.

Very clean and spacious apartment. Good size kitchen . Well equipped. Good quality towels and sheets etc. Short pleasant walk to the town.

Although the apartment itself was great we did find it rather noisy. There is a children's play area and trampoline directly outside the apartment we were in. Being woken by toddlers wasn't great. Also cars are parked directly outside each unit so there is quite a bit of traffic noise. If you are a light sleeper request a unit away from the play area and entrance/exit.

Friendly, communicative staff; clean and comfortable apartments with everything you could need. Great shower head. Can get yourself in and out without fuss with a safe key system. Trampoline and small playground for children. Right around the corner from a few little shops and servo, the marina for whale watching tours (and excellent fish and chips), and some of Australia’s most gorgeous beaches. About half an hour from Narooma if you need a Woolworths. I came for a work trip with a lady who has special needs and will definitely return - for work, but also would love to bring my family here!

Nothing I didn’t like!

The accommodation was absolutely perfect to get away from Covid, relax and recharge. It was well presented, neat, clean and ideally located near the shops and beaches whether you walked or drove. We had access to swings, trampoline and a pool which my children loved totally. Kudos to Ana and Murray for their thoughtfulness and hospitality...we had absolutely everything we needed in the apartment. Thanks to Murray for going far beyond our expectations to help us out with the keys, you're really kind. We will most certainly be returning to stay. Thanks again and stay safe.

Surprisingly nothing

We really enjoyed our stay here! Great modern and clean accommodation. The facilities were well kept and apartments fully equipped with everything you need. The hosts were super responsive and friendly. Even though it was busy when we were there it was always quiet. Would come back!

Slightly further out of town, but easy to access.

First time in Bermagui and loved 'The Anchroage'. Walk to marina with great fish chips, boat watching and kids playground. A longer walk to main town. Apartment was clean and fresh. Comfortable beds and great central areas for kids - swimming pool, BBQ area, trampoline, swings. We asked for a quieter apartment and had number 9 which was lovely and away from the kids play areas. Easy check-in and great hosts. Will definately be back!

Nothing!

The location is excellent being walking distance from the wharf area and a very short drive to township and other facilities. Beds were comfortable and warm inspire outside temperature and we did not use the air-con.

It was a little difficult to find the entrance drive even using GPS (took us two attempts a sign on the fence would help).As there were two big outboard boats there before us we needed to park in what I assume was not a designated parking spot.
