Harbourview House

Looooved being able to take our Doggo with us on holiday. The attention to detail in this beautiful laid back motel is wonderful even down to doggy bowls and a blanket provided for him. There is a small courtyard area fully secure out back of the unit with a little bbq and a clothesline too. The reception we received was so welcoming. 100% we will be back! Love Bermagui what a gorgeous place. Highly recommend Harbourview House as well.

Not a major issue but worth noting if you are a light sleeper that all rooms seem to inter connect and walls seem pretty thin. We had kids in the room next to ours who liked to squeal and yell! All quiet through the sleep hours though so wasn't a problem for us.

Great location by the harbour. Close to shops & restaurants. Lovely views from both front and rear balcony. Staff were very welcoming. Apartment had everything we needed. The whole stay was very comfortable and relaxing

Only very minor issue was that our bbq wasn't working. There was a communal one at the rear of the house that we could have used, but the owners were doing some renovations, so we thought it best not to get in the way. But it made no difference to the overall facilities.

Everything about this place was fabulous. The location was right across from the marina and easy walking distance to main street area and beaches. The room was very spacious and comfortable and everything you would need was provided. The presentation of the room was a lovely surprise with gorgeous throws and cushions on the bed and the shells on the towels, very welcoming. There was even a doggie mat and bowls in the room for our furry boy. This is definitely our future go to in Bermagui

The location is fabulous, just the harbour right at the doorstep and lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The hotel was really lovely and super comfortable. They provided for everyone including the dogs. The bedding was of a 5 star hotel, super comfy and clean and very inviting and facilities and inclusions were outstanding. Overall an amazing experience, definitely going back.

We got to know only on our last night that we could order breakfast when we looked at the booklet, if we had known this we would have ordered before itself.

The team were so gracious and they were truly a pet friendly motel who had a really appreciation for all guests -human and furry alike ! the best quality room we have stayed in since travelling with our cats. thank you team Harbourview 🙏🏻

We stayed three nights. The accomodation was clean and spacious and we loved the outdoor private patio every room appears to have. The area was very quiet and you couldn't hear anything from the street. It's well located between the main strip, the wharf and the local woolies. Also it looks like people forget to log out of their streaming services on the room's smart TV on departure.. For more context we'd booked here for three nights here then two nights in the Beramgui Beach Hotel. We regretted the move from Harbourview House as it was significantly better.

The walls are paper thin, so if your next door neighbours are loud in the bedroom, if you know what I mean, then expect to need to turn up the TV. This was our only hilarious annoyance during our stay.

Large clean room with small kitchen area attached. Coffee machine was great. Nice outdoor patio to sit. Good location.

When the TV was off it displayed a picture of a Zebra. This was not a problem until we wanted to go to sleep. When you turned the lights off the Zebra glowed very brightly and made going to sleep very difficult. We ended up putting a large towel over the screen at about 1am and that helped a little. We strongly suggest shutting down the Zebra.

The location was excellent, only a very short walk to the Bermagui Wharf which made it easy to get some dinner after an exhausting day, so too is it very close to Honorbread, the lovely artisinal bakery in town which I would absolutely recommend for breakfast. The room looked better than the pictures, was well equipped, and also very clean. Resting on the comfy bed and watching some Iron Chef on the unexpectedly large TV was a welcome experience after a week of camping. Undercover parking beneath my room was convenient and the check-in/out process was very simple. I only wish I could've met the hotel dog. Having a barbecue on the private balcony was a great feature which I didn't use but still appreciate, and the communal courtyard barbecue area I'm sure would be fantastic in Summer. If I ever come back to Bermagui I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Harbourview House again, and had I not already arranged future travel plans I likely would've taken them up on the off-season offer to stay 3 nights for the price of 2, which is a great deal. Also the staff member I met when checking out was very nice and she took no issue with my slightly late check-out, a welcome change from hotels that are eager to tack on extra fees at the drop of a hat.

I really didn't have any issues with the accommodation, I suppose if I were to get nit-picky I might say that the beds were ever so slightly too high for my liking, and the water-efficient shower head provides a stream that is slightly harsh at maximum pressure which isn't my ideal preference, but I know some people like that kind of massaging effect. Ultimately, however, these are total non-issues. They are merely the only things I could think of that ever so slightly detracted from what was overall an otherwise perfect experience for this price point.

The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bed was large and made up beautifully with good quality linen. The lady at reception was very pleasant and helpful. It was quiet and there was a glimpse of the harbour from our room.

The television was a bit difficult to use and SBS on Demand wasn’t available. When I mentioned this when we were checking out, they were apologetic and I thought would act on my suggestion.

Exceptionally good value for money. Spacy, functional, newly renovated, clean, and great location. And on top - pet friendly. And there were pet bowls and a mat. We loved being able to travel with our dog and not to sacrifice the comfort (as it's commonly the case, as usually shittier places allow pets). Thank you!
