Jindy Inn

Our room was well presented, clean and very comfortable. Often you expect the photos of the place to be better than the reality and this wasn't the case for the Jindy Inn. The photos truly reflect what you get and I was impressed. Would also comment on the staff in the Dining Room - they were so friendly and helpful - very much appreciated.

Nothing specifically about The Jindy Inn - the accommodation and service was amazing. The only criteria that didn't get 5 stars from me is the value for money and that more relates to the overall rates in Jindabyne. Pretty expensive for what you get but at least I paid for a really good venue. There are other places charging the same but a whole lot less quality.

The room was spacious for the two of us. The beds were comfortable and the room had both A/C and heating - April is chilly Mt Kos NP. The Inn is a perfect distance from some really great restaurants and you can drive or walk to the supermarkets (about 250m). It's off the main road through Jindy but set back enough we had a very restful couple of nights of sleep. We had dinner and breakfast at the Jindy Inn restaurant and it was really good. The dinner is like Asian-style tapas and great after a really long drive from Sydney. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back.

Parking on premises is a bit of an issue. Both days, we had to park on the street as there wasn't enough parking in their small carpark.

One of the staff members (at reception as well as breakfast) Luci, was an absolute delight! (Genuine and a real asset to this establishment!) We were expecting the very basic room but were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness (I’m a stickler!)what looked like new(er)carpet, options of organic tea as well as milk in the fridge for a desperate instant coffee -Oh and the ‘botanical trader’ bath products which I am about to order online! :)

The drawers in bathroom should be wiped out between guests, but not too bad.

Great location, excellent service, breakfast, superb staff & owner, we love staying here. The staff were so friendly we came to check out, although there’s a bit of hiccup with our cancellation for one of the room, but the staff fixed it up quick and beyond our expectation. We were happy. The owner Janine was also so nice and welcoming.

Maybe some the beds need upgrade? The beds are nice and quite firm, but one of the bed a bit saggy but overall are good. Bathroom shower is good, amenities are so good, love the Mint shower gel!

The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Really comfy beds and a heater that worked really well. We had a lovely view of the lake and were very close to the shops, restaurants and cinema. The staff were lovely. We just loved the whole vibe. We sat by the fire in the lounge area and had drinks. There was a Filipino restaurant operating from the Jindy Inn and we enjoyed their food. I would not hesitate to recommend the Jindy Inn and if we are ever in Jindabyne again this is where I will be staying!

The staff was friendly, brekkie was great with more than just cereal and toast, close to the restaurants in town, and good price as it was a few weeks before the ski season.

The pillows were too high on the neck. Would be good to have one softer and one harder pillow for different comfort levels. Room could also stay warmer with an extra draught blocker for the door that faces the hallway. Great that there is one for the balcony door.

Clare, the owner was most welcoming and friendly. The food was great. Everything was clean and taken care of, yet the care for the environment directly applied in getting credit for no need to get clean bedlinnenen every day. The Jindi Inn is certainly located at Jyndabine and close to Thredbo and Perrisher. The view of the lake is amazing and peaceful. Will definitely come back.

All was great

Jindy inn was honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed in when it comes to value for money. From start to finish the lovely receptionist Julie was so kind, welcoming and helpful. The beds are super comfy , the balcony view is pure bliss with a morning coffee or afternoon beverage, and to my surprise a free all included continental breakfast spread that was all so delicious. 100% will stay there again apon visiting Jindabyne in the future and definetly recommend the jindy inn to all stopping over for a night.

Great location and perfect for a skiing holiday...everything that you needed (walk to shops/restaurants, dry room/kitchen facilities were nice and clean). Staff were very helpful and friendly and the restaurant bar was nice and cosy with great food.

As per all communal kitchens remember to being your own sharp chopping knives + basic condiments

This is a very comfortable room. The hotel has its own bar/restaurant, and a great atmosphere. We also got a coffee voucher for the second day breakfast, which was nice courtesy.

We agreed on a late check-out at reception, but it was not communicated to the staff, and we had a slightly unpleasant conversation before that got resolved. Could have done without this, but I suppose that is not reducing the quality of the hotel. Just make sure your checkout arrangements are noted at the reception.
