Siesta Villa

The facilities in the room where a bit odd - with the bath in the bedroom! - but overall, everything needed was provided and the view onto the lake and the mountains was very impressive. The breakfast was served in the dining room and was fairly basic but adequate. We also had dinner there one evening which we enjoyed together with a bottle of good wine.

After we got used to the layout of the room everything was fine. The veranda overlooking the lake was very pretty but we came here towards the end of May which was fine but too cold to sit outside.

The view is amazing. For just within 10 min drive from Jindabyne town, which is not that much, its value for money for great view and inclusive of breakfast, which adds up the bonus. Breakfast buffet options were nice too.

The breakfast time is 6am to 8am could be upto 930 or so esp. after a tiring day at snow, people do get tired and may want to start a little late. There could be a light near the doorway, only one light in the room. Please mention there is microwave in your amenities. No ceramic plates or bowls for microwave just plastic. Few clothes hangers please, there are the hook ones which doesnt help.

We stayed in king family room Huge room Great balcony with lake view Great beds and plenty of room for kids Microwave and refrigerator . We read other reviews snd were prepared with our own cutlery and plates . Very relaxed staff . Great check in experience Breakfast is modest but perfect for family traveling on budget Spa bath in room was exactly what we needed Very clean room . My impression is that it would be a great après-ski vibe here in the winter Kids had loads of room to run and explore the lake edge .

This would be an odd room for people not traveling as family . The bathroom is divided by curtains with no locking door etc . So you probably want to know the other people you're with fairly well! Also I didn't like there is no chain to double lock the front door ... I'm always paranoid my kids will just get up and walk out in the night .

Breakfast great although hours finish too early and then felt rushed. Young female staff were super friendly and welcoming. Would have been nice to have a staff member who welcomed you each morning even if it was a good morning or how was your day and someone to assist with information about the town etc especially in mornings. Room was lovely.

Really friendly and accommodating staff. Room had ample space for our family of 5, and bath + shower was hot. Free Wifi, TV, Microwave, Kettle and Mini-Fridge in room. Great to have hot breakfast included. The main reception was warm with a fire, pool table and a few video games, which we good to entertain the kids. Restaurant was pretty good and all the food we tried was excellent (a little pricey but no more than eating out in Jindy) The location looks a little way out of Jindabyne but we timed only an extra 6min drive heading to the snow.

Make sure you check using Booking.com - we entered and booked as family of 5, but the system seems to default to 4 automatically. Luckily Siesta were able to still fit us for an added charge. No Drying Room / Racks - we were there for the ski season and we lucky had good weather, however on a wetter week could really use a way to dry clothes. Room bins were cleared each day, though might recommend a full sheet change etc 1x a week too?

Firstly, CASSIE is amazing. She was warm, friendly, great with kids and had exceptional hospitality skills. A delicious hot breakfast was included with our room rate and that included unlimited coffee, tea and cereals, toast, pancakes etc. We also ate dinner at the restaurant both nights because the food was just divine. The second night we had the pork knuckle and I may just dream about that until I die. The rooms were spacious but just be mindful there aren't any lifts so if you have a lot of luggage or mobility issues it's best to stay on the ground floor.

The beds weren't very comfortable and the bathrooms desperately need an update.

As a mum with a 2 and 3yr old it was great that they put me in the ground room close to the playground, the food at the restaurant really exceeded my expectations and it was great how accommodating they were to change some of the meals to keep my kids happy. Definitely would come back here, felt so welcoming. A big thanks to Lee and Casey for making my stay amazing.

There wasn't anything I didn't like, but would of been nice if there was a toaster and cutlery. Also would of been nice to have liquid soap and a moisturiser in the bathroom.

clean, bed was comfy (king room), quiet location, nice lounge space downstairs near restaurant. views of lake AMAZING. staff were really friendly :) microwave in room handy to heat up ready meals.

Restaurant looked a bit old and dirty and only had one staff member on during dinner - felt sorry for her but she was amazing, maintaining exemplary customer service throughout. If someone orders a stone grill, the entire restaurant fills with choking smoke. Food was good. I like quiet but if you are a town person, this will be too far out for you.

The breakfast and close proximity to the lake. The room had lake and mountain view as well which was great.

Parking was not allocated for the room, parking the car was tricky when all common spots are taken. Also unloading luggage and taking it to the the room was tricky when we couldn't park the car close to the room. few room has closer allocated parking but not ours.

Location cos I like quiet and it’s out of town with beautiful views and proximity to the lake. The bar and restaurant mean you don’t have to go into town. Food was great and staff were super fun and friendly. Beds comfy. Shower hot and strong.

Nothing really. Only thing was the room deodoriser was a bit overboard but also I have allergies and am quite sensitive.
